"Jump, and you will find out how to unfold your wings as you fall"
(Ray Bradbury)

As soon as the door was open, Natsu exclaimed "I can smell Juvia!", and Gray pushed him forward. Natsu started running, closely followed by Gray, Happy and Erza.

Lucy stayed back a moment an alien feeling starting in her stomach. She felt as if there was something, someone calling out to her.

She shook her head and followed her team. She had to hurry if she did not want to lose them, because this part of the tunnel system was more branched.

She ended up having to decide between two tunnels. She could see her friends hurrying along the right one and was about to take that branch when she felt the feeling again. She halted.

Suddenly, as if she were a moth drawn in by the light, she felt an urge to take the other branch. To find out what was there for her. It was captivating. The feeling that she belonged on the other path.

With Erza, Natsu and Gray being there she felt unneeded. She felt weak. They could bear without her.

She took the other path.

Juvia felt herself being lifted into the air and into the water when a surge of power flew in her.

She felt strong, oh so strong. She felt as if she could take on whole guilds alone. With a thought the water around her shot in all directions. A laugh bubbled up from deep inside her. With the laugh came a voice.

"I knew you would find me. I've waited for so long.", the voice was high and sweet. It warmed her heart.

"Who are you?", Juvia asked, a feeling growing inside her.

"Why are you asking if you already now, child?", the voice answered and an image of her appeared in Juvia's mind. The woman in front of her had long, flowing silver hair, her features kind, her eyes white.

"The moon goddess Luna."

"That indeed I am my child. I have waited for so long to meet you.", Luna explained.

"What are they doing to Juvia?", Juvia asked and Luna laughed

"Well they are trying to wake me up. For the convergence. Let them, my child.", Luna declared and Juvia felt her brows furrow

"But why?", she asked

"Because they think when the convergence succeeds that they will rule me through you."

Juvia was confused. "But Juvia doesn't understand. Why do they have to wake you up inside Juvia?"

"When your mother asked me to find her a prince and I found out she bore you I was in danger. There was a dark mage who wanted the power of the moon to himself. He tried to rob me from my temple. He created demons to take me. With you I saw the chance to survive. You see you were born with bright white eyes not because of my magic, but because when your mother came to thank me, I hid in her. Hid in you.

"I am sorry, my child. I am the reason your parents left you. I am the reason for the rain clouds on your skies. Your body held two massive magical powers, not ready to become one yet. Your own and mine. I am the reason of your loneliness. I truly am sorry.

"Which is why I want to offer you an apology. When the convergence succeeds completely I will be able to wake up, to resume my form. I will give you access to powers.", Luna explained and Juvia was surprised. This was the reason for the never ending rain? Because she held a goddess inside her? That promised her her powers?

"Who was the dark wizard threatening you?", Juvia asked and Luna smiled

"I know you have met some of his monsters. I know you destroyed one of them. Say his name, my child. Say his name."

"Zeref."

With that Juvia's resolve was made. She would allow the convergence. She would accept Luna's powers. She would become stronger. If she had to, she would kill Zeref herself.

She asked Luna one last question and let herself fall.

Natsu came to halt before a door. "She should be inside there.", he exclaimed and Gray pushed open the doors.

Just inside to hear the last words of the brotherhood's chant and see them, along with Juvia, who was floating in the water that was in the middle of the room disappear.

He heard himself screaming her name. He sank down in defeat.

He had lost her.

Lucy followed the path until she stood before a door. The door was adorned with several golden stars. One big sun was in the middle of it.

Her fingers itched to touch the handle and open the door. She was just about to shake her head and return to her friends when she heard a soft song, foreign words. The song urged her to go into the room.

Her fingers lifted to the handle and she opened the door. After walking inside she looked around. It looked like a dressing room.

A heavy wooden wardrobe was pushed against one wall, it also was adorned by many little stars, just like the vanity that was against the other wall. In front of the vanity was a chair with white fabric over the back of it.

What drew her in mostly was the painting of the sun, surrounded by even more stars.

Suddenly she understood Cana's reading.

The sun was a star. It was, for Earthland, the biggest star, giving light and warmth. The sun shone the brightest for them.

Natsu furrowed his brows. Where was Lucy. Without waiting for Erza, Happy or Gray to follow he turned around and ran back. He took up her scent at a crossroad, he remembered taking the right one and took a sniff.

He followed her scent down the other one and just rounded a corner when he saw a door, called out her name.

He pulled at the handle of the door and opened it.

Only to reveal an empty room.

Lucy was gone.

Hearing her name called out by Natsu pulled her back and she turned to run back to him to tell him about what had just made sense.

She ran to the door and opened it.

Only to find herself in a different surrounding. It was still a tunnel, but it was different and by how near Natsu's voice sounded he must have been right in front of the door.

She hurried along the path and stopped when she saw them. Heard them.

The song that had been so entrancing to her before. They stood, after the next corner, waiting for her.

Their white cloaks with their golden embroidery.

The sisterhood of the stars.

In Magnolia the guild was getting ready to join Team Natsu at the temple of moon, when Carla suddenly stopped moving.

Wendy's eyes turned on her, recognizing that her friend had a vision.

"The prophecy changed. The moon will turn blue tonight. There is still the possibility of a full conversion."

Coincidentally was the sun part written during the solar eclipse that happened today.
