"LET ME OUT OF HERE!", Lucy screamed hitting the door.
As soon as she had stood in front of the sisterhood they had dispersed a smoke. A smoke which Lucy feared the brotherhood had used on Juvia.
Indeed her powers had become smaller and smaller until she felt herself faint.
When she woke up she was again in the dressing room. Her keys had been taken from her.
When she turned around she saw the symbol that they had found on the stone on the floor just before the drawing of the sun.
Then a woman wearing the white cape materialized before her eyes.
"Stop wasting your energy like that, Lucy Heartfilia. You will need it. Then again – waste it, then we can start our part of the convergence sooner.", the woman spoke with a bored voice and pulled the cape from her head, revealing long silver blonde hair that was bound in a long braid.
"What do you want from me?", she asked "I have nothing more to give to you. You already have my keys. I'm not much worth without them.", she exclaimed and the woman smiled tiredly
"That's what you think. But believe me, Lucy Heartfilia, you are of great worth to us."
"But why?", Lucy asked exasperated.
"You will find out soon. Now take this. It will speed things up", the woman held out a flask with a clear fluid inside.
Lucy just looked at her with rage.
"I might not be able to get out by my own power, but Fairy Tail will be looking for me just like we did for Juvia.", she declared and the woman laughed
"Oh yes and look at where looking for the moon child got you. Now drink this, before I force it down your throat."
"I swear when Fairy Tail comes, and they will come. And when I get my keys back-", she was interrupted by the woman coming up to her and holding her head in place.
The clear fluid was forced into her mouth so fast that she had no choice but to swallow.
Tears stung in the back of her eyes while she felt her limbs go numb and in her mind she screamed out for Natsu.
"Natsu, Gray, STOP BOTH OF YOU!", Erza yelled at her childhood friends.
While Gray simply ignored her and went on looking around in the room for even a small hint of Juvia's whereabouts, Natsu looked at Erza and shook his head.
"You need to understand, Erza, I need to find Lucy. What if they hurt her?", he asked and Erza sighed
"I know. But they're not here. We don't have much longer till the entrance closes. Then we'd be stuck down here for the next moon cycle. Let's go back to the guild and maybe the other team have some information about the star temple.", she reasoned, sharing a worried glance with Happy.
She had not seen her friends this desperate in years. Gray looked as if he was torn between wrecking the whole place and breaking down crying. Natsu, who always had the energy to go on, to find a way to beat the odds, just looked so helpless.
Reluctantly the two males stopped their fruitless search and walked up to Erza.
"It feels like we're giving them up.", Gray whispered and Erza would give anything to pull Juvia up behind a pillar and yell surprise.
"We're not. We're just looking somewhere else.", Erza smiled sadly.
The journey back to the guild was silent. Gray and Natsu walked in the front. Erza was right behind them carrying Happy.
The little cat took a look at Natsu and Gray and turned his face into Erza's shoulder. Her heart broke even more when she felt wet tears on her clothes.
Lucy could only stand helplessly when the two women came inside to sit her down on a chair. She could only watch them in the mirror before they pulled back her head. Her hair was washed then dried and pulled up in a tight bun.
A power inside her willed her to stand up upon their order and she found herself standing when the girls started to undress her.
One of the girls smiled at her brightly "This is so much easier without you struggling, Milady. The moon child resisted the convergence even after she drank the potion."
"The moon child? Are you talking about Juvia?", Lucy asked, confused.
What had they done to Juvia? What had happened to her friend?
"Yes, Milady. She talked nonsense about not giving up because she's from this filthy group calling themselves guild. Of course, Milady, we knew that you would be different. You would be intelligent enough to understand that we're doing this-", the woman who had forced the drink down Lucy's throat interrupted the girl that was currently putting out the white fabric in front of Lucy
"That will be enough.", she ordered and the other girls looked at each other and nodded.
Juvia resisted the magical power? How could she have done that? The power was so strong.
"Juvia is right, though. Even if you pretty me up and do one of your freaky rituals with me, I'm not going to allow it taking me over!", Lucy insisted and the woman, who had now sat down on the chair Lucy had been on previously, laughed
"But in the end, the moon child saw the truth and accepted it."
"I have no idea what you and that brotherhood did to her, but the Juvia I knew would never-", Lucy started but the woman only rolled her eyes
"Just wait and see Lucy Heartfilia."
Her hair was put out of the bun and combed out so it was straight again. The two women who had clothed her left the room and Lucy looked into the mirror.
She gasped. She looked like the woman in her dream.
Her hair was shorter, but falling onto her back in a similar manner. The white long dress hung to her hip and cascaded downwards. The sheer trail that was attached to her hip was white and fawned out behind her.
"Follow me, Lucy Heartfilia. The sisterhood is ready to show you the truth."
She could not help it. The power inside her followed the woman down a tunnel and into another room.
It was bright in the room, even though Lucy's feeling said it had to be night. The sun was in the blue sky of the high roof, the stars were shining brightly beside it.
The woman stood on one side of a path in a line of her sisters. On the other side was another line.
The power inside her forced her to go down that path. It led her to a lake filled with the golden water from her dream. Around the lake stood even more of the sisterhood.
They began to chant and lifted their arms into the air, commanding the golden water to lift. Lucy, too felt herself lifted into the air, calling out for her friends in her mind.
She closed her eyes, Natsu's happy smile etched into her eyelids and allowed herself to cry.
Just as the door to the guild opened, revealing Natsu, Gray and Erza, who was carrying Happy, Cana looked down at her cards again.
The card of the moon had started to glow just after Carla had declared the prophecy changing. She looked, helplessly as the card of the sun started to glow just the same.
"The convergence will happen.", she choked out.
