It had been 8 weeks since the fire, Aaliyah had been allowed out of hospital. Her, Casey, Riley and Kyle had been staying at the Braxton house, while Aaliyah's house was being fixed up. Johnny decided he wanted to stay close to Aaliyah so he stayed in the Caravan Park, that way he got to see a lot of Riley.

Aaliyah was on her way to fetching Riley from Johnny's caravan "Hello love" Alf smiled as he saw the young woman approaching "it's good to see you out and about again"

"Thanks Mr Stewart" Aaliyah replied as she walked past Alf and to the caravan door, she knocked on it gently.

"If you're looking for Johnny he isn't here, he's in the laundry room" Alf said as he carried on fixing the door of a different Caravan.

"Laundry, Really?" Aaliyah was surprised to here of Johnny's new domestic side.

"Yeah one of the machines was making a funny noise so he offered to take a look" Aaliyah couldn't hide her smile as Alf explained, this sounded more like Johnny.

Brax and Casey were in the lounge of the Braxton house when they heard a knock on the door, Brax opened it "Can I help you?"

"Yeah I am looking for Aaliyah Cooper?" A small brown haired woman stuttered "I was told she is staying here?"

"Who wants to know?" Casey inturrpted protectively.

"I'm Kelly, I was married to Scott" the woman's reply stunned both Brax and Casey "I heard about the accident and came to make sure she was ok"

"Yeah, she's fine" Casey replied, he was very suspicious of this woman "Is that it?"

"No, not really. Is she here, could i speak to her?" the shakiness in Kelly's voice caused Brax to be cautious aswell.

"Nah she's gone to see Johnny" Brax replied hoping the mention of Johnny's name got a reaction and it did.

"J..Johnny, so hes been in contact then?" Kelly stuttered.

"Yeah, he's been around since the accident" Brax continued "He wants to make sure her and Riley are safe"

"Oh...erm well could you tell her I called round please" Kelly quickly turned and walked away.

"Yep" Brax exhaled as he watched the woman walk away.

"What was all that about?" Casey asked as he watched Kelly get into her car and drive away.

"I don't know, but I doubt she called by to check on Ali" Brax sighed as he too now had joined Casey at the window.

"Do you think it has something to do with Johnny?" Casey asked

"Could be, she could be checking to see if Johnny still has a score to settle with Scott" Brax replied.

"Hand me that spanner please Mate" Johnny said as he held his hand out to Riley. Aaliyah grinned widely as Riley handed his Dad a screwdriver "That's great son, but this is a screwdriver"

"I know" Riley chuckled.

"Having fun" Aaliyah said with a smile "Here" she added as she handed Johnny the spanner.

"Yeah" Johnny laughed as he stood up and walked a little closer to Aaliyah "When this ones not trying to wind his old Dad up" he added as he ruffled Riley's hair.

Aaliyah laughed "You about ready to go buddy"

"Oh mum do i have to" Riley argued.

"Hey don't argue with your mum" Johnny interrupted "We can hang out another day"

"Yeah but i was having fun Dad, please mum can't i stay just for a while longer" Riley pleaded.

"It's fine with me, if its ok with you?" Johnny suggested causing Aaliyah to look at Riley and frown.

"Oh alright, fine" she surrendered causing Riley to hug her tightly "You can stay until after tea"

"Can't i stay until tomorrow Mum, please" Riley asked, Johnny shrugged and smiled.

"Is that ok with you?" she asked Johnny who nodded "Yes you can stay, are you alright to drop him off at home in the morning?"

"Yeah sure" Johnny seemed happy that Aaliyah had trusted him to have Riley another night "Thank you"

"Here Johnny, I brought you that tea you asked for" a womans voice interrupted, Aaliyah was surprised when she turned round and saw a beautiful blonde standing behind them.

"Thanks Jenny" Johnny took the tea off the woman, he couldn't help but smirk when he saw the way Aaliyah was watching her walk away.

"Jenny?" Aaliyah frowned at Johnny.

"Yeah, shes one of the cleaners here" Johnny replied, he couldn't help getting the feeling that maybe Aaliyah was a little jealous.

"Well as long as cleaning is the only thing she does in your van, while you are looking after your son, then I couldn't care less" Aaliyah snapped before turning on her heels "I'll drop you some more clothes in later ok Riley" she kissed Rileys head before walking back to her car. As Aaliyah's car skidded off she kicked up a load of dust.

"Wow Mummy's mad" Riley said as he looked up at his Dad, Johnny just frowned, how could she be mad over Johnny talking to another woman. Aaliyah was with Casey, she was happy.

Johnny wasn't the only one who had been left confused at Aaliyah's outburst, she was confused herself. Aaliyah just told herself it was because of Riley, he didn't need to see his Dad becoming romantically attached to someone.

Aaliyah swallowed all her confusion and got out of the car, she could see Casey and Brax stood near Brax's ute "Everything ok?" She asked as she walked towards them.

"Yeah" Casey replied quickly as he looked at Aaliyah and then at the car "Where's Riley? I thought you were collecting him"

"Oh he wanted to stay with Johnny again tonight" Aaliyah smiled "Thats ok isn't it?"

"Yeah why wouldn't it be" Casey frowned "Johnny is his Dad after all"

"So have i missed anything?" Aaliyah quickly changed to subject to avoid an awkward silence.

"Yeah Kelly came round" Brax interrupted causing a shocked reaction from Aaliyah.

"What? Why would she come here?" Aaliyah frowned as Casey got closer to her.

"She wanted to make sure you were both ok?" Brax replied, Aaliyah didn't look convinced.

"Is that what she said?" Aaliyah leant into Casey when she felt his arm around her shoulder.

"Yeah, why aren't you convinced?" Brax asked Aaliyah.

"No not really why? Aren't you?" Aaliyah wondered "Why do you think she came?"

"We think it's something to do with Johnny" Brax explained "Maybe she thinks he still has a score to settle"

"Why would he, Scott's dead" Aaliyah quickly defended Johnny, causing a shocked look from Casey "Johnny is sticking around for me and Riley, he wants to makes sure we are safe"

"Yeah we know that" Casey said softly "But Kelly doesn't, maybe you should talk to her, she seemed really jumpy"

"You're right maybe i should go and see her, will you come with me?" Aaliyah asked Casey "We can collect Kyle from your Mum's on the way back"

After being warned by Brax to be careful Casey and Aaliyah headed to Kelly's house.

Aaliyah pulled up outside a white wash house, Casey frowned as he looked out of the window. He couldn't believe how normal this neighbourhood looked "This is it" Aaliyah sighed as she got out of the car "I hope she still lives here"

As Casey and Aaliyah walked to the house two boys came running up the path and out onto the street "Yep she still lives here" Aaliyah grinned as she walked closer to the front door and knocked. Kelly opened the door "Hiya" Aaliyah smiled warmly.

"Oh my god" Kelly quickly pulled Aaliyah into a hug "I was so worried about you when i heard about the fire"

Aaliyah hugged Kelly back for a few moments before pulling away "I'm fine" Aaliyah smiled "What made you come and see me?"

"I just wanted to see if you were ok" Kelly frowned "I know i was out of line coming round"

"Look I don't mean to sound rude Kelly but i know this had nothing to do with me" Aaliyah snapped a little "This was about Johnny"

"You better come in" Kelly gestured for Casey and Aaliyah to follow her into the house. Casey couldn't help noticing how on edge Kelly seemed "Ok so i was worried about Johnny"

"Why" Aaliyah had the same defensive tone in her voice she had earlier "Johnny's score was with Scott, Scott died trying to save my life. The score is settled as far as he is concerned, why would Johnny come after you or your kids? He would never do that"

"I was just worried thats all" Kelly quickly spoke, this caused even more suspicion from Casey.

Johnny was surprised to see Brax's ute pull up in the caravan carpark, he quickly looked over at Riley who was playing with some boys from a different Van.

"Alright mate" Brax said as he approached Johnny "He looks to be making lots of friends" Brax was now looking Riley

"Yeah" Johnny smiled "So what's the story?"

"What" Brax quickly returned his attention to Johnny.

"The reason you are here, it's not a social call" Johnny frowned "I'm guessing it has something to do with Ali?"

"Kelly came round t see her while she was here earlier" Brax replied.

"What Scott's Missus, Kelly?" Johnny seemed as concerned as Brax about this "What did she want?"

"She said she came to see if Ali was ok" Brax explained.

"And you don't believe her?" Johnny asked

"Do you?" Brax replied causing Johnny to shake his head."Nope, have you told Aaliyah about this?" Johnny wondered curiously.

"Yeah, she has gone over to see Kelly now" Brax now had a cautious tone.

"By herself?" Johnny seemed both concerned and angry by this point.

"Nah course not Casey's gone with her" Brax frowned "She isn't that stupid"

Johnny nodded in agreement "Yeah you're right" he said "I'll come to the resturant later to find out what happened, for now don't let on to anybody I know about this"

"What are you going to do?" Brax wondered what was going through Johnny's mind.

"I'm going to do some digging" Johnny's reply was simple "I wat to know who told Kelly about the fire and why she is all of a sudden she cares about what happens to Ali and Riley"

Brax was glad he wasn't the only one who thought Kelly's sudden interest was suspicious...
