Gah all these cute little moments I'm imagining. So much for more serious themed one-shots :p

"Michonne."
"Mmm."
"Michonne."
"I don't want to."
Michonne tightened her grip on Rick's arm and nuzzled into his shoulder, still half asleep. He closed his eyes for a moment, indulging in her comforting presence, and found himself tempted to agree with her declaration. However, the clock was ticking away in the otherwise quiet bedroom, and it reminded him that wouldn't be long before the others got home. Rick and Michonne had both been uncertain about revealing the change in their relationship to the rest of the group, or more specifically, to Carl. It was taxing to cover it up as the weeks had passed, but he thought they were doing pretty well.
His gaze panned around the bedroom. It was impersonal and looked much as it had when they had first come to Alexandria. He caught a glimpse of their uniforms, which were hung in the closet, reminding him of the long day that had left them tired and napping on the bed in their t-shirts and underwear. The room was cast in the rich light of late afternoon, again reminding him of the time. Reluctantly, Rick pulled his arm from around her and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, shivering slightly as his bare feet hit the cold floor. He turned back to look at her, Michonne's sleep filled eyes blinking up at him with a serene expression that made his heart melt.
"We'll hear them come in." Rick reasoned aloud as he watched her rub her eyes.
"It's not like we're on the couch…" Michonne murmured, dropping her head back onto the pillow and rolling onto her back to look up at him.
"Or naked." He added.
She slapped him halfheartedly slap on his shoulder as he laughed at her expression. He sat looking at her for a moment, considering the situation. Michonne closed her eyes, as if she already knew what his answer would be.
"It's cold, too." She added with a smile. Her eyes opened again and she looked up at him softly.
"That's a good point." He yawned. Decision made, he settled back down beside her, and she turned so he could scoot forward and spoon up behind her while she leaned back against him. He smiled into her skin as he kissed her softly behind the earlobe and closed his eyes.

"Hey Da-" Rick jumped awake at the sound of his son's voice, turning to find him standing in the doorway, taking in the scene with an unreadable expression. As Michonne popped up behind Rick, looking equally disheveled, he realized there was no way to explain away this one. To his surprise, Carl spoke first.
"I thought you'd be awake by now." The boy said, his tone apologetic.
"Huh?" Rick blinked and moved to a sitting position at the edge of the bed.
"Dinner's ready. I came up earlier but you were still asleep." Carl explained. He wasn't taking this the way Rick had been expecting him to. On the other hand, Rick had no idea what exactly he had been expecting.
"Carl, are you okay with this?" Rick asked, risking a glance away from his son to Michonne, who was watching the exchange with slight apprehension. Carl's expression was briefly confused, but he caught on quickly.
"Dad, it's not a secret. I would have said something by now." Carl informed him. He turned and left the room, and his boots could be heard descending the stairs a moment later. Rick looked from the empty doorway to Michonne, who shrugged beside him.
He really had thought no one knew.

The hardest thing about writing these (especially after Sunday's episode) is it's hard for me to tell whether or not I'm writing Rick and Michonne out of character Dx But I just love imagining them in these situations!
I have no idea if I'm getting it right, but I hope you guys liked it anyways :)
