Kol grinned wickedly as he stared at the three women in front of him. One was blonde, one was brunette, and one was a redhead. One had large bosoms, one had hardly any bosoms, and the other had average sized bosoms. One looked innocent, one looked as wicked as him, and one looked excited. He would have laughed at the comparisons he was making if he wasn't so damn randy.
It had been a week since the rather exciting night he had after Elijah's boring party. Honestly, he appreciated his brother's attempts but the filthy mutts were never going to abide by his rules. Wolves were wild creatures. Nothing could tame them. He knew that from experience.
He used to enjoy attending Elijah's parties. A few decades into living in New Orleans, his family had decided to take that wretched dagger out of him and awake him from the slumber he was in for over 50 years. Kol would attend every party held by Elijah, which were held almost every week. Elijah enjoyed the people around him that weren't his family, Klaus enjoyed threatening those around him, Rebekah enjoyed meeting the handsome men, and Kol enjoyed the party itself. But he eventually grew tired of the never ending parties. The only good things about the parties now were the women.
Kol didn't know what he would do if it weren't for women.
Even now, he wasn't able to stay away from them. He was addicted. And he knew why. Women were the only thing in the world that gave him any excitement. Well…that and violence.
There was nothing sweeter on the planet than the rush of adrenaline one got when feeling the life slip away from a human.
"So ladies…which one of you would like to visit heaven and back?"
All three of the women blushed and giggled. They all jumped onto the bed that Kol was resting at and started to undress him, still giggling.
Kol was in the process of removing the blonde's undergarments when the door to the room of Madam Bouchard's opened.
Kol groaned as he saw Elijah looking distastefully at the scene in front of him.
"Kol" he said with the grimace. "I thought I would find you here".
Elijah took a few uneasy steps before stopping and briefly glancing at his surroundings. Honestly, it was if Elijah had never even been in a brothel before.
"Yes well you found me brother" Kol said in a rush, staring unhappily at his older brother, eager for him to leave so he could continue on with the fine ladies beside him. "What is it that you want?"
"The dinner starts in three hours" said Elijah formally. "You need to get dressed, and Niklaus would like some help with the seating arrangements."
Kol rolled his eyes. "We would have had all of that done already if he hadn't arranged the dinner at the last minute. Besides, why should I have to go anyway? Both you and I know that he only arranged this dinner so that he could see that witch again."
"I know no such thing" said Elijah, irritated.
Kol laughed. "Of course you do. He went there to see her yesterday in the morning, comes home in the afternoon and suddenly decides to have a dinner party the next day. One that, might I add, had her name on the top of the guest list."
Elijah nodded. "Let's go, Kol."
It took another 10 minutes before Kol was persuaded to leave Madam Bouchard's.
Upon arriving home, Elijah had managed to corner Kol into his study so he could help filling out the seating placements. Kol was finishing up a very poor job when Elijah spoke.
"I was hoping to have your assistance in something" he said in a low voice.
"With what?" Kol sighed. He just wanted to get this dinner over and done with so he could hurry back to Madam Bouchard's and continue where he left off. Perhaps he would invite Lydia to join this time.
Elijah glanced to the exit before leaning forward slightly, causing Kol to move back childishly.
"Very mature" said Elijah. "But I needed a favour and I just thought you were the right choice" he said in a whisper.
"What is it Lijah?"
"This young girl that has managed to capture our brothers attention – Victoria, I think her name was – she is quite a mystery to me. I believe that Niklaus holds an interest in her for a reason. I intend to find out that reason."
Kol chuckled. "So you want me to seduce her tonight and discover who she really is and why on Earth our tragic brother is fawning over her?"
"No" snapped Elijah. "I would like you to talk to her. Discover who she is, why she is in New Orleans, anything about her that could be the explanation as to why Niklaus is interested in her. Everything our brother does is for a reason. He threw this dinner for a reason. I'm going to find out that reason and you are going to help me."
"Alright Elijah, honestly…there's no need to be upset" said Kol condescendingly causing Elijah to grit his teeth together. "I'll find out who this woman is….on one condition."
"And what is that Kol?"
"Buy me a new coat, you ruffled mine as you practically assaulted me trying to get me here."
"Fine" Elijah bit out. "I'll buy you a new coat."
Kol grinned stupidly at his older brother. "And that's why you are most definitely my favourite brother. Tonight will go well, I'll talk with her all night, laugh at her jokes, find out her deepest and innermost secrets…and then I'll seduce her."
Although the last part was a joke, Elijah was not amused and sent a dark look in Kol's direction.
"Just do it" he said coldly before grabbing the last of the messy seating placements and swiftly leaving the room.
Kol wondered just why Elijah was so interested in this girl, who he must admit was very beautiful but a human. No human was worth Klaus making a fool of himself over. The girl…Victoria…must truly be something special if she could catch the attention of a prick like Klaus.
