2016/ January / 0730 location: ruin's of mount justice
"So," said a man in golden armor, "there are only three of the founders left."
"Yes," responded Nightwing "myself, Aqualad and Superboy." The others stepped out of the shadows as their names were called.
"What have you called us here for, Jason." Aqualad asked.
"I have called you here, for I hear that you are looking for the Book of One. Is this true?" asked The Jason.
" Yes." said Aqualad it is true.
"Then." Responded Jason, "let me tell you a story about justice and his outlaws."
"This story begins in the old west. Justice and his crew of nine men were feared throughout the land. In those times, many people could do magic. But the number of people born with that ability was beginning to dwindle. Justice and his crew decided to go after one of the famous villains of that time. Historical records reveal that at that time he was one of the most powerful magicians of history because he knew three different kinds of magic. Knowing Dark, Earth and Fire magic, he was thought to be unstoppable. Justice split his squad into two separate teams, also employing the help of The Commander, a civil war veteran. One squad consisted of himself, The Commander, and three other members, named Outcast, The Mysterious Sheriff, and Big Al. The other squad had Bandit, Quickdraw, Long Shot, and the Shadow.
When the two squads converged on the most powerful wizard of that time; it is said that of the ten people who went in, eight of them were turned to stone, and only The Shadow and The Commander survived the massacre. And as earth's magic did not affect The Shadow, he was forced to send The Shadow to the Shadow dimension. The Commander was so paranoid that the mission was going to go horribly wrong, that he faked to his own death to escape, and it is still not known how he managed this."
"The point is that the Commander eventually disappeared from the eyes of the populace. Some believe he did this because he was in the possession of "The Book of One", a Book that holds many secrets of forgotten past and unforeseen futures that One had gathered throughout his lifetime.
"Soon after this event, the statues of the imprisoned Outlaws were said to have been moved to the birthplace of One and the seven Swordsmen. For it is said that when a new person of darkness arises, their curse will be broken. The Magician who cast this spell on them knew this, and thought that if he cast the world into darkness , that darkness would never rise again, meaning that the Outlaws would never be freed from their prisons of stone. As he was defeated though, we know now that the Outlaws will return as does a new evil."
"Their mission is to make sure that the world is preparing for the return of the seven great swordsman, as they are the only ones who might know where the Commander hid the sacred "Book of One"
So as you see Aqualad, Superboy, and Nightwing, you must not find the book of one first, but you must find the birthplace of One and the seven swordsmen. And I take my leave now." said Jason, disappearing into the darkness of the night.
"So, the seven swordsmen," Said Superboy, "I believe I speak for everyone here when I say we've all heard stories about them, or at least one of them."
" I will tell you a story about the one known as the red swordsmen, or Redfire, one of the four elemental swordsmen. The swordsman Redfire, when the seven swordsmen were alive, were known for his exceptional skill and not just the art of the sword and also a master of fire magic and the dragon style."
"Many people wanted to take the title as the red swordsmen from him,so when he faced his greatest battle, this is how it began…"
"So, cousin, you have come to challenge me for the title as the fire swordsman."said Redfire
"Yes, and when I defeat you I will become the ultimate red ninja!"
"You may have mastered,cousin, the way of the sword, but you have not even mastered fire style stance."
"You are a great swordsman,cousin," Said the red ninja, " but you are mistaken in the fact that you believe that a swordsman must also master magic and its different stances and styles."
"We will see who is right,"Said Redfire. Then they both unsheathed their swords. "Before we fight, it is customary for a swordsman to say the name of their sword. Mine is Doragon no honō."
Then the red ninja replied.
"Mine goes by the name Doragonbureido. Let this battle begin!"
CLASH! The sound of metal on metal as the blades hit against each other.
"A fighter is not defined by only his swordsmanship,cousin." Redfire began to use his flames.
"Your flames mean nothing to me, cousin" Said the red ninja, taking out another blade.
"You think you could defeat me with a puny knife?" Said Redfire
"No, it was to move you into position for you death"
One twang rang out as Redfire was shot with an arrow through the heart.
"Why would you do such a dishonorable thing cousin? To win the honor of one of the seven great swordsmen?"
"No one will ever know that; the only other person to know of my plan is the one I paid to do this."
"The honor of being one of the seven great swordsmen doesn't come by just the title, thus, you will never truly be one of the seven great swordsmen."
"That is where you're wrong cousin. You are the last of the seven swordsmen, all the others were killed."
"I curse you for when my spirit returns so shall your spirit."
"And as you can see,"said Superboy, "The seven swordsmen, the greatest of their time, were hunted down and killed dishonorably."
Nightwing said, "Since we are the last of the the original team of Young Justice, it is our duty to make sure the same doesn't happen to our team, to be hunted down like the seven great swordsmen."
"The light," said Aqualad "caused this to happen, for there only to be three of us left. Nightwing, Superboy," Aqualad continued. "Please come back to The Team."
"No, Aqualad," Responded Nightwing, "The Heroes United mission is to find the Book of One, only then will Superboy and I return to The Team."
"I Agree with Nightwing," Said Superboy. "The Book of One, as stated by the Jason, is said to hold prophecies of both past and future, as well as abilities that have long been forgotten. We must find it as soon as possible, that is what I believe."
"If that is what you think," Said Aqualad, "Then I will continue to lead the team." With that Superboy and Nightwing disappeared.
" You can come out now," Said Aqualad.
A voice chuckled.
"How did you know I was here?" The man said.
"I control the water, and so I sensed five bodies when there should have only been four."
