Chapter 13: A Raging Fire

Axel rolled up to a large estate that stretched for mile. He looked over at Roxas. "Ready to see that bimbo?"

Xion shifted in her seat uncomfortably between Sora and Kairi. Kairi held Xion's hand in her own. "Stay by me, Xion," she instructed.

Xion nodded. She unbuckled her seat belt and slide out of the car with Kairi. The mansion was pure white with large marble columns holding up the massive roof. It stretched as far as the eye can see in every direction. Small spot lights lined up the winding path that lead to the large white marble door. It was at least 3x's larger than Xion's old mansion.

Kairi noticed that look of wonderment on Xion's face. "It's a damn shame that trash has to live in luxury. It's so boring looking on the inside too. It's too white."

Xion peeled her eyes off the mansion. "Are you related to Naminé?" she asked out of curiosity. She saw a slight resemblance.

Kairi folded her arms across her chest. "We're 2nd cousins," Kairi explained. "But I don't associate with her anymore because of her shady family. Daddy never approved of it."

Xion looked behind her. Roxas mumbled something to Sora. He pointed to something and Sora nodded. Kairi grabbed Xion's hand.

"Let's go." She led the small girl on the small path. The garden looked luscious as they strolled by. Large hedges trimmed into various shapes and animals filled the center of the garden with rose bushes lining the edge. Large willow trees swooped down the in rows between the hedges. They umbrella over small statues carved out of beautiful marble.

"I wish I had a garden like this," Xion wished with an envious tone.

"It's a dirty garden bought with dirty money," Kairi criticized it harshly.

Xion didn't understand what she meant by that. She looked forward on the smooth brick path. Muffled pop music played loudly in the mansion. She felt the ground vibrate.

A servant stood at the door with his nose pointed up into the air. He opened the door for the two young woman and led them to a dark room with dim glow sticks everywhere. A large crowd formed in the center. They seemed to bounce in time with the resounding beat that caused a mini earthquake.

The large crystal chandelier violently swung back and forth above the crowd. "I don't want to stay here!" Xion screamed above the crowd.

"Same here!" Kairi yelled back. "Let's go out to the pool area for a while!"

Kairi led Xion around the edge of the crowd and into a long white hallway filled with large family portraits. The largest was of a young middle school aged Naminé. She had a brown rimmed pair of glasses and wore her blonde hair in pigtails.

"She looked so innocent back then," Xion commented on the picture.

"Well, that bitch fucked with Naminé's head." Kairi continued down the hall to a large dining room with long white curtains. One of the curtains was flung back behind opened glass door that revealed the large back yard.

The pool looked like a small lake filled with drunk teens who splashed about and threw each other in. A few ballsy, or completely wasted, teens climbed into the large tree that hung over the pool and threw themselves off the highest branch, creating a giant splash followed by the cheers of drunk people.

Kairi grabbed a bottle from the open cooler. "Ever drank before?"

Xion shook her head innocently. "I never even thought about trying it."

Kairi shoved the frosty cold bottle in Xion's hand. Kairi grabbed another for herself and twisted off the cap. Xion hesitated for a moment before wrapping her palm around the top and twisting off the cap. Kairi raised her bottle up to Xion. "Cheers."

Xion put the mouth of the bottle to her lips and tipped her head back and took a good swig of the beer. She leaned forward quickly and spat out the drink. "Ah! It burns and tastes weird." She wiped her mouth.

Kairi laughed at Xion. "You can't drink it slowly." Kairi placed her finger underneath the bottle and pushed it back up to Xion's mouth, coaxing her to try again. Xion tossed her head back and let half the bottle drain into her mouth. "There you, Xion."

Xion felt her vision blur and her head buzz. The bottom slipped out of her hand and bounced on the slightly muddy grass, spilling the rest of its contents. Her face turned a bright red and she stumbled toward Kairi. "Why is there two of ya, Kairi?" she slurred. She squinted her eyes and leaned forward like a curious cat.

"Not surprised that you're a light weight." Kairi wrapped her arm around Xion to support her.

"Can I has another?" Xion mumbled. She gently swung her drooping head back and forth.

Kairi pumped her fist in the air. "Let's get wasted." She secretly missed the taboos of high school parties.

Roxas, Axel, and Sora climbed up the long winding staircase to the 3rd floor. "Axel. Sora. You two check out this floor. I'll check the last floor."

"Alright, Roxas."Axel took the first half of the hallway while Sora took the second half.

Roxas began his ascend back up the long winding staircase. Dammit, where's the fucking old man? His legs began to cramp as he continued up. If he remembered correctly, Naminé's room should be up there. He reached the top step and peered down the small dark hallway. He saw a large double door room down the hallway. Ansem should be in there. He walked down the hallway and stood momentarily at the large doors. He deeply exhaled. Please grant my wish, old man.

Roxas slowly opened on of the doors and peered into a dark room. Naminé sat upright on her queen sized bed with her silk blanket pulled up to her knees. She held a half empty beer bottle in her hand. She looked up at Roxas.

He could tell that she was buzzed. "Roxas, you came." She got up and crawled toward him on her bed. "I knew you would."

Roxas remained emotionless to her. "Where's Ansem?"

Naminé waved her index finger at him."Nuh-uh. I'm not telling you where he is?"

Roxas gave her a stern look. "What do you want?"

Naminé slid off her bed and stumbled toward Roxas. "I won't tell you where he is unless you sleep with me. I want you to ravish my body."

A look of disgust overcame his face as he took a step back. "Naminé, I don't want you."

"Why not?" She stumbled closer. "I made myself attractive just for you. I starved myself to look this good." Naminé pulled up her pinkish-white shirt to show the scars on her stomach from the starvation for the last few years. "I sacrificed a lot and suffered for you to love me. I deserve you and not her!" She spat at the thought of Xion.

"I loved you once, Naminé," he admitted, "but you're ugly on the inside. You're a terrible person."

Naminé threw herself on Roxas, forcing herself on him. "What makes Xion even better?" She struggled with him. "That little bitch should have drowned!"

Roxas with a swift moment, struck Naminé with his open hand. Naminé let out a little yelp and slipped off Roxas. A small amount of blood dripped out of her left nostril. "You deserved that!" he screamed at her. He felt good.

Naminé screamed and rushed at Roxas.

Kairi quickly dragged Xion up the stairs. "Where's the nearest bathroom?" Xion hiccupped.

"I want to take you to Naminé's favorite bathroom." Kairi smirked as she dragged the poor girl up the stairs. Xion left a trail of puke behind them. "Hold it in, Xion!"

"Oka-" She hurled again. Her puke dripped down the steps and smelled like beer.

"We're almost the-" Kairi froze. She saw Naminé wrestling with Roxas in the hallway. "Oh, Hell no!" She dropped Xion.

Xion looked up to see Naminé trying to force herself on Roxas. She felt a burning sensation in her chest. It started off as a small flame. Xion forced herself up. "You whore!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. Her legs started to carry her. She picked up speed and threw herself at Naminé, tackling her.

"You bitch!" Xion spat at her as she pinned her to the ground. She clenched her hand and stuck Naminé in the jaw.

Naminé slipped her skinny legs underneath Xion and kicked her in the stuck. Xion rolled off of her from the force of the kick. Naminé grabbed Xion's head and slammed it repeatedly in the floor.

A huge blinding pain surged through Xion's head. She swung again at Naminé, striking her cut. Naminé released Xion and grabbed her bruised and bloody cheek. Xion crouched in front of Naminé, ready to pounce.

Naminé frantically felt around the floor. Her glittery pink fingernails tapped the half empty beer bottle. She wrapped her hand around the neck and slammed it against the wall, breaking the bottom off as Xion lunged at her.

"Xion!" Roxas cried out. He tried to crawl over to Xion but Kairi held him down. "Xion!"

Xion pinned down Naminé again. She pressed her arm against Naminé's throw, choking her and restrained her other arm that held the bottle underneath Xion's chest. They were in a stalemate. Naminé looked into Xion's eyes. The tiny spark of flame grew into a raging fire that burned through her soul.

Naminé's red face swelled as her throat was crushed underneath Xion's flexed arm. Her other arm reached up and patted at Xion and tried to scratch at her side. The fire in Xion's heart was consuming Naminé.

"Xion, stop!" Roxas cried out one last time.

And just like that, the fire was extinguished. Xion jumped off of the barely conscious Naminé. She whole body shook.

"Kairi, take Xion to the car. I'll go put Naminé to bed."

Without hesitation, Kairi grabbed a hold of Xion and rushed her out. Roxas stood on his feet and walked over to Naminé. Her dim eyes slowly rolled toward him. He scooped her up and carried her bridal style to her chamber. He laid her down to rest on her silk covers.

Naminé reached her weak hand out to him. "R-Roxas," she choked.

Roxas looked at her with empty eyes. He left without any words.

Xion laid curled up on the couch as Roxas watched her. She hasn't said a single word to him since the incident. He watched, unaware if she was asleep or awake. "Xion, everything's going to be fine. I still love you."

She remained silent and unmoving. Just like the first day they met.

Ansem stood at Naminé's bedside. In the hallway, he heard the servants cleaning the mess someone left. "Naminé, who did this to you?"

Naminé's eyes moved to look at Ansem, who loomed over her like a shadowy figure. She mouthed the name."Xion."
