9. Chapter 8

Hey Guys, I'm back! I'm sooo sorry I haven't posted anything in over 2years, it's unforgivable. I honestly got into other fandoms and completely lost faith in this one. When I logged on for the first time today and saw all the reviews you guys left me, I realized that It wasn't fair for you all that I decided not to update. That's all gonna change now tho… so enjoy!

Chapter 8- Oh shit!

BPOV

I woke up gasping for breath. Where was I?

I immediately sat up and frantically looked around. 'Okay,' I thought, 'so I'm in the forest. Awesome.' Cue sarcasm.

"Well," I said standing up, "why not pull a horror movie cliché and wonder around aimlessly in the woods?" As I started walking I began thinking of Alec and where he was. Was he looking for me? Did he inform Aro of my supposed disappearance? What the hell even happened last night?

It must have been hours later that I picked up fevered footsteps in the distance, running at an alarmed rate… THE GUARD! Me being the dumbass I am, decided to step in front of them to catch their attention, instead of, you know, calling their names or something crazy like that.

As they broke through the bushes, I mentally prepared myself for the blow… that… never… came…

'The fuck?' I thought shocked. I quickly turned and saw the backs of the guard. "Hey!" I called out, "stop!" They didn't hear me…

'Okay Bella,' I thought to myself while trying to grasp the fact that my own mate didn't even bat an eyelash at me, 'looks like were just gonna have to follow them.' I quickly took off running in their direction and tried tracking their scents like a damn dog. Ha, the irony. After about 10minutes of running, I break through the bushes into a clearing. From afar, all I could see was a mass group of people crouching and huddling around something.

Figuring they wouldn't be able to see me, for whatever reason, I sprint forward and make my way through the crowd. As I get to the front, I start looking around.

"okay," I say to myself, "what's everybody looking a-" I gasp. The thing everyone was looking at…

Was me.
