Emma and Killian decided to prepare their sword lesson for the following day. At this point, Emma had been on board the Jolly Roger for a month. The day of her lesson, Emma woke up excited. She threw off her blanket and rushed to her closet to pick out an outfit. Killian had generously supplied her with some new clothes.

When they had docked yesterday at a village, Killian had gone down to the shops to hand pick clothes for Emma. Killian mostly picked outfits with pants at Emma's pleading request. The thought made him chuckle, but he came across one dress that stood out to him. Killian saw it and immediately thought Emma would look beautiful in it. He didn't hesitate and promptly bought the dress.

Killian had been gone for a while and Emma was bored. She was still not allowed to leave the Jolly Roger, although she couldn't understand why. Emma took a guess that it was because he was still afraid that once she was off the ship, she would take off and leave forever. Everyday that they grew closer, everyday she thought less of leaving. Since she was stuck on the ship, Emma decided to chat with the crew. She made friends with the men, to her surprise. When Killian had finally come back to the ship, he was surprised to see all the men had encircled Emma. She was sitting on a barrel and it looked as if she was telling a good story. Since all the men were enchanted by her, no one noticed Killian slowly approaching them.

"And then I hit him right in the face with a rock!" Emma said, sounding so confident.

All the men roared with laughter.

"A-hem," Killian coughed.

The crew turned to see Killian and quickly scrambled back to work. Emma looked up to see Killian standing there.

She smirked and said, "You're always ruining my fun Killian."

"Aye, but I'm the captain, and a captain must keep his men in good form," Killian said smirking back.

Emma laughed and jumped down from her barrel.

"So what did you buy?" Emma said eagerly with excitement in her tone. She was trying to peek at the newly bought items.

"Ah,ah, ah! Not so fast love," Killian said, putting the items out of her reach, "These presents are for you, but you'll get them tomorrow."

"For me?" Emma asked excitedly.

Killian nodded. Emma's smile grew into a huge grin. "Oh thank you!" she said as she threw her arms around him. Killian was taken aback from this hug and almost dropped her presents. Right as he was about to wrap his arms around her and take in her sweet scent, she pulled back.

"Prepare to be beat tomorrow," Emma said as she walked away.

Killian chuckled.

Perhaps

Emma was eager, yet a little nervous to start her lessons. She couldn't understand why she was feeling nervous, but she knew deep down why.

That stupid pirate with his charming looks and those eyes. Eyes like the color of the deep sea.

She sighed and softly laughed.

"This outfit," she said to herself out loud.

Emma couldn't wait to start her lesson.
