Hey everyone!

I do apologize for dropping off the face of the earth. I have meant to continuing but with classes I just haven't had the time. I will try and post a new chapters when I get free time.

Thanks for being so loyal!

"Are you ready Emma?" Killian called out from above deck. He was waiting impatiently to start the sword lesson.

"Yes I'm coming! Give me a second," she hollered back. She emerged from below deck with the sun rays hitting her. She looked absolutely radiant.

Killian took a mental step back. Wow he thought.

Killian smirked. "You look good with a sword lass. Let see if you're any good with it, hmm? Ready when you are."

Emma stood up straight and took a deep breath in.

"I'm ready. Teach me."

*1 hour later*

There were grunts coming from both of them. The crew was watching and working at the same time.

"Getting tired lass?" he teased, "I like a fair fight and if your—"

Emma cut him off.

"Oh please," she said as sent a big thrust of her sword towards Killian's sword.

Killian grunted. She was a fast learner, he thought to his surprise. Her form, when it wasn't sloppy, was elegant and graceful, like a swan.

Like a swan, Killian thought.

"I have a nickname for you Emma," Killian said.

"Oh?" Emma said with a surprised look on her face.

"Aye, it's swan."

Emma was quite amused and nodded her head and smiled. She wasn't exactly sure why he had picked that name, let alone come up with a nickname for her, but she was too busy concentrating on the continuously impending sword that clashed with hers to worry about it.

But, the truth was she was tiring a little bit. As the swords clang and clashed together, Emma miss-calculated and stumbled backwards as Killian advanced.

Emma tried to kicked him so she could rebalance herself, but he was too quick and too experienced. Killian grabbed hold of her ankle by his hook and sent her flying on her back. Killian smirked.

"Good form swan, but not good enough."

Emma pointed her sword straight in front of her, so that it was a few inches away from Killian's neck. Killian moved his sword against Emma's so that both sword were pushed to the side. As he leaned in closer, he decided he would tease her a bit.

"Normally I prefer to do more enjoyable activities on her back. When I jab you with my sword, you'll feel it. You might wanna quit—"

Emma narrowed her eyes. She couldn't give him the satisfaction of winning and gloating. Since he was distracted with teasing her, Emma saw her window of opportunity. She kicked him with her free leg and sent him backwards. Emma came full force with her blows and knocked Killian as well as his sword onto the floor. She was crouched down and had one knee on top of him, while pointing the sword inches away from his neck.

"Why would I do that, when I'm winning?" Emma said, with a smug look on her face. Killian's face was priceless. It was a mix between a proud instructor and a man who's pride and ego had been bruised.

The whole crew cheered.

"Aye," he said quietly, "I've taught you too well lass. You're a fast learner."

"Scared yet?" Emma said questioning him. Killian gave her an exasperated look.

"Please love, I've been a pirate longer than you've been on my ship. I went easy on you."

Emma made an 'oh please' look on her face.

"Pfft sure," she said.

"Since I won," she said with mischief in her eyes as she approached Killian, "can I get off this boat for once?"

Bloody Hell, thought Killian. With that look, he would promise her the sky.

"That's topic for another day. Let's finish up our lesson for today."

Emma sighed. That's all she'll get for today.

"Fine, but don't go easy on me this time!"

"As you wish," Killian said with a soft smile.
