Akio flung the towel over his shoulder, took a breath and told Sunohara the events that happened last night.
"You two started getting freaky and had sex in the middle of the room. "
"... ... ... ..."
"WHAT?!"
"HAHA!" Just kidding with you kiddo." Akio said as he began laughing. "Wow, Tomoya was right when he said you were gullible."
Sunohara fell back down on the couch, rattled but at the same time relieved that it was all just a joke. "That.. Was not funny.." He said with a long sigh.
Akio walked up to the couch and sat down next to Sunohara. "Ok, now for the real story..."
Elsewhere, Tomoyo was walking towards her house while being occupied by Kyou, Ryou, and Kotomi. The three agreed to make sure that Tomoyo got home safely since she was hungover.
Ryou tried to hold back a giggle as she walked down the street next to Tomoyo who was barely able to walk straight. "Hehehe... I saw something funny last night."
Tomoyo felt an embarrassed tingled run down her spine as she was reminded once more of the incident that had happened. She could see Kyou and Kotomi holding back laughter as well.
"Give it a rest you guys." Tomoyo said as she placed her hand on her head to ease her headache.
"Oh I'm sorry." Ryou sarcastically apologized."My little knight in shining armor! HAHAHA!"
Both Kotomi and Kyou couldn't help but let out a big laughter as Tomoyo's face turned red, thinking back on what happened last night.
"KANPAI!" Everyone yelled out as they raised their glasses.
Tomoyo gulped down her drink with ease. She looked over to Sunohara who cringed after taking a small sip.
"What's wrong hmm?" Tomoyo teased. "Can't handle anymore booze?"
Sunohara looked at Tomoyo, face still as red as a rose. "Yeah.. hehe.. I think I'm done *hic* drinking for tonight." Sunohara said as he flashed Tomoyo a smile. "Don't want to.. Get as drunk as you!" He said as he poked Tomoyo in the cheek.
"Pfft.. You're the drunk one here dummy." Tomoyo retorted as she returned a poke to Sunohara's side.
He jolted violently as a result which shocked Tomoyo, but it gave her a small creaking smile.
"Oh?... I didn't know you were ticklish." She said in a teasing tone.
Sunohara blushed. "Wha..Nooo. No I'm not... I was caught off guard that's all."
"Mhmmm..." Tomoyo responded as she poked him again.
This time Sunohara barely even reacted, but it was obvious that he was trying very hard to suppress it.
"Hey!" Kyou called across to them. "Why don't you two lovebirds stop getting all touchy and get in the game with us!"
"Hmm? Oh yeah, sure." Sunohara said as he tried to get himself and Tomoyo up, but the two proved too drunk to maneuver properly.
Tomoyo giggled. "Let's just crawl over there."
Sunohara and Tomoyo awkwardly crawled on all fours to reach their group of friends who were bunched up in a circle. Kotomi had a truth or dare app on her smart phone and had already punched in the names of everybody in the room.
"Alright, everyone knows the rules." Akio said as they continued.
Everyone was anxious on who the the app would pick. They watched as Kotomi raised her head and spoke..." Ryou".
"Ehh?" Ryou yelled out of surprise. She didn't expect herself to get picked
Kyou turned towards her little sistier, "So little sis... Truth or dare?"
The younger sibling's face was flushed with red out of embarrassment. "Oh uh, I'll just stick with truth."
Kotomi picked the truth option on her phone and read the question... "Describe one awkward moment you have had with anyone in the room."
Ryou actually had a hard time to recollect her memories. The only time she had ever felt awkward was when either Tomoya or Sunohara were pulling one of their gags.
"Oh!" She exclaimed. "I remember one moment, but it was.. a little embarrassing." She said with an innocent smile.
"...Sooo? *hic." Tomoyo called out. "Let's hear it."
"It was in high school back when I was a senior with most of you. Sunohara approached me and said that someone wanted to confess his love to me."
"Oh yeah... I remember this." Kyou said as she narrowed her eyes at Tomoya and Sunohara.
Tomoyo leaned over to Sunohara, "Oh... you're in this awkward story?" She asked suspiciously as Sunohara gave her his signature mischievous smile.
*Poke*.. "Ack!" Sunohara jolted.
Ryou continued her story, "Anyways, I met up with Tomoya, Sunohara, and Nagisa on the roof... And they said that she was the one who wanted to see me."
"EHH?" Nagisa yelled out as her faced turned red. "So that's why she was weirded out that day! You're so mean." Nagisa told Tomoya.
Tomoya let out a small chuckle. "Hey, it's a memorable way of introducing yourself."
"Is there something you haven't told us Nagisa?" Sanae jokingly asked.
"No no no!" Nagisa said as she shook her head. "It was just one of Tomoya's silly pranks! I just needed to recruit some people for the drama club."
"Still, you have to admit *hic.. You were totally into it for a minute.. Eh Ryou?" Sunohara told the younger Fujibayashi.
Tomoyo playfully slapped Sunohara in the back of the head. "You would be into that stuff wouldn't you ya pervert!"
Everyone continued their fun little game of truth and dare. Even though there were some strange challenges, everyone was excited to cut loose for once and have fun.
Tomoya was dared into lying down and mimic giving birth to a large baby with everyone supporting him.
Kyou was dared into pretending to be a boy in love with Kotomi.
Nagisa was dared to face away from the group, wrap her arms around herself and pretend to passionately make out with someone.
Mei was dared to put an ice cube down her shirt and left it there until it melted.
Kotomi's challenge was to mimic laying an egg after a long incubation.
Sunohara was dared into giving Tomoya a short lap dance. Much to both of their dismay.
Sanae was dared into being a Mafia boss and having Akio get on his knees to kiss her rings.
"Tomoyo." Kotomi said as her name came up on the app. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare! I'm up for it." Tomoyo responded excitedly.
Kotomi pressed the dare option and her eyes slightly twitched as the challenge appeared.
"Hmm.. So what is it?" Tomoyo curiously asked.
Tomoya peaked over to look at Kotomi's phone and the two silently looked at each other, agreeing that it's a bad idea.
"Come ooonnn!" The drunk whined like a toddler. "What is it?"
Kotomi read out loud. "Do the foxtrot dance with anyone of your choice... But Tomoyo I don't think you should..."
"Come on Youhei! You heard the lady!" Tomoyo said without hesitation as she tried to get Sunohara on his feet.
"Hang on Tomoyo, you sure this is a good idea? The two of you could barely even stand." Tomoya asked. He was alright with everything the Tomoyo has done in her drunken state so far, but it was obvious that in her current condition, she's the type to do things recklessly.
Even though Sunohara was also intoxicated, he wasn't as nearly as drunk as Tomoyo. He was still able to process situations as if he were sober and not do things on a whim.
"Of course I am! Hurry it up Youhei!" She said as she tried to get Sunohara to stand up. But all he did was slump over on the floor as she pulled.
Sunohara felt his body being dragged across the floor by his arms. "Uhh.. *hic. I think Okazaki might be right, and I'm a little too-"
"...Youhei." A small voice called out. Sunohara tilted his head back and saw a pool of blue eyes staring at him in a pouting puppy face. "...Please?"
"Damn it... I can't say no when she's giving me that look." Sunohara thought to himself. With a small sigh and a smile, "Alright, I'll do it."
Tomoyo flashed a big smile as she gave a powerful tug that brought Sunohara off of his back and onto his feet, much to everyone's amazement. Even when drunk, she still has quite the strength.
"Puppy eyes never fail." Tomoyo thought to herself.
"Hmm.. I wonder how this is going to end." Tomoya thought to himself as Sunohara and Tomoyo began their little dance...
The two held hands with one arm while Sunohara placed his other hand on Tomoyo's back. She finished the stance by placing her arm on his shoulder.
"Alright! Show me how your hips don't lie!" Akio shouted out.
The pair clumsily stepped back and forth. In their condition, it was a miracle that they could remain standing. Sunohara tried to lead Tomoyo through the dance, but it was very difficult to remain focus. The room spun around him every time he moved, his vision shifting, and his balance was off. At this point it wasn't even the foxtrot.
As they paced each other through the dance, Tomoyo lost her balance and fell forward towards Sunohara and caused him to fall on his back once more, taking her with him.
"Hey! Are you guys o..." Ryou was unable to finish her sentence. "... kay?"
As Sunohara brought Tomoyo down to the ground with him...
She fell towards his face and their lips locked.
Tomoya: O_O
Nagisa: O_O
Kyou: O_O
Ryou: O_O
Kotomi: O_O
Mei: O_O
Sanae: O_O
Akio: XD
There was a subtle taste of sake on her lips, but they were very soft, warm, and comforting. Both of their hearts were racing rapidly as butterflies filled their stomach. They stayed like that for a few seconds until Tomoyo slowly pulled away and gazed into Sunohara's eyes.
"Crap... This is not going to end well." Sunohara thought to himself. He closed his eyes and was expected a sharp knee to come down on him. But when he felt nothing, he slowly opened his eyes and saw a gentle beautiful smile creaking on Tomoyo's face. It was if they were back in her living room after sparring.
"You two ok? That was quite the fall you took there." Sanae asked as she and Nagisa casually lifted Tomoyo off of Sunohara.
Sunohara quickly sat up straight and looked over at his best friend who was sitting besides him, because knowing Tomoya, he was going to have something cheeky to say.
"I'm assuming that was your first kiss?" Tomoya asked quietly.
Sunohara felt every fiber in his body tense up because of the awkward situation at hand.
"Well that was exciting to watch." Sanae said politely. "Why don't two take a short break." She said as she helped Tomoyo towards the other side of the room.
"Whaaat? I'm fine Sanae." Tomoyo whined as she was led across the room.
Sanae chuckled. "That's what they all say."
Akio came over to Sunohara and helped him on his feet. "Come on Casanova, you heard the lady."
"We're sooo going to remind you of this later!" Kyou yelled out as everybody else laughed.
Sanae took Tomoyo and tried to sit her on the couch, but the silver haired girl was slouching even while standing up, and preferred to placed on the floor where she previously was.
"Akio dear, could you place Sunohara over here?" She beckoned Akio as she pointed towards the ground next to where Tomoyo was sitting.
The old man raised an eyebrow but quickly complied. He lead Sunohara towards the wall and sat him down next to Tomoyo.
"You two play nicely now." Sane said with a smile as she and her husband made their way back towards the group.
Akio leaned over the Sanae, "You just want those two lovebirds to be by each other's side don't ya?"
"Yup."
As Tomoyo watched the two walk away, she leaned over towards Sunohara and whispered... "Let's move up to the couch."
"What? You're the one who wanted to sit on the floor in the first place." Sunohara retorted.
Tomoyo looked at him with her puppie eyes. "Pwease? I don't want to go alone."
Sunohara slouched against the wall. "Nah.. I'm too lazy to move anywhere right now."
*poke* He felt a jolt hit his side that made him jump.
"You want me to ask you again?" Tomoyo said in a stern voice.
Akio and Sanae eventually got back with the others. "Alright, now where were we?" Akio called out. "Who's the next unlucky guy?"
Kotomi proceeded to continue the game and slowly looked up after her truth or dare app chose the next person. "... It's you."
"Gah!"He cursed as Tomoya immediately asked.
"Truth or dare old man?"
Akio regained his composure. Not allowing anyone to question his ego, Akio hunched over to Tomoya with a big grin, "Dare me."
Kotomi clicked the dare option and her face turned red from embarrassment. She took a while to react which only made everyone anxious to know what was in store for Akio. She turned over to Akio and reluctantly read the dare...
"Pretend that you're a talented pole dancer and use Tomoya Okazaki as your pole while you give your performance."
Both Akio and Tomoya widen their eyes to a point where they look like golf balls. Their face paled in response to hearing such a forbidden dare. Everybody else laughed and let out a big "ooohhh." As they pressured the two to pull through.
"What kind of a sick, twisted dare is that?!" Akio yelled out. "Who would come up with such a thing!?"
Sunohara and Tomoyo laughed together while still propped up against each other.
Kyou let out a laugh, "I guess it's safe to assume that you'll be skipping this one."
"I sure hope so..." Tomoya said quietly to himself."
Akio sharpened his eye with determination. "...Oh no."
"What?!" Tomoya yelled out in disbelief.
Akio stood up from that circle with his fist clenched. "I never back down from a challenge!" Akio screamed with the fires of determination in his eyes. "Get up kid! The sooner we get this over with the better."
Tomoya knew that there was no way he was getting out of this one... At least not with Akio.
"Why do I always get myself these types of situations with you of all people." Tomoya said as he stood up and prepared to face despair.
"We've been through a lot together kid... We're like soldiers in a war torn battlefield, no matter what impossible obstacle stands in our way, we'll always push through..." Akio passionately monologue. "Now shut up and let me work my magic."
The crowd watched as Akio started shaking his groove thing around Tomoya who was standing as still as a statue.
Back towards the couch, Sunohara was watching with glee before he remembered the kiss he previously had with Tomoyo. He felt a tingle run through is body the more he thought about it, and his heart began to race as he remembered that Tomoyo was sitting right next to him on the couch.
"Youhei.." Tomoyo said softly. "Remember back in the day.. When you would always find me in the hallways, and do one of your crazy thing?"
Sunohara nodded his head. "Yeah."
"...Why did you stop?" Tomoyo asked.
Sunohara glanced at her with a surprised look. Thinking back, all the times he had ever bugged her, she would always tell him to leave her alone after she knocked him sky high. After all the kicks he received and all the migraines he must've given her, he felt it was better off to do as she wished. To leave her alone.
"Well..." Sunohara said softly. "After you were elected student council president, I'd figured that you would be way too busy to have any distractions. Also.. uhh."
Tomoyo looked at Sunohara, anxious to hear what he had to say. "Also?"
Sunohara slowly looked away. "I just thought that, you wanted me to leave you alone."
Tomoyo felt a twist in her stomach and a feeling of guilt when she heard Sunohara say that. Tomoyo thought back on the old days where she would kick Sunohara across the hall after his cheeky antics. She remembered wishing that the blonde idiot would stop talking to her. But deep down she knew that Sunohara grew on her the more he approached her. She just never realized it until he graduated.
Sunohara continued on. "You know.. I was bugging you way too much and that you were probably sick of it. So I just backed off."
As he said those words, the sake began to take its toll on Sunohara. His began to feel drowsy and had a difficult time keeping his eyes open. Sunohara felt an arm being wrapped around his shoulder as it pulled him into a firm, warm side hug. Tomoyo's head rested on him. He could smell the soft, beautiful fragrance of her silver hair as he heard her say in a soft gentle tone...
"Don't you ever think... That I would never want you to leave."
Sunohara's body reacted on its own as he slowly rested his cheek on top of Tomoyo's head... Creaking a small smile at his situation.
It's funny he thought... Tomoyo Sakagami, the high school star student. The girl who he would butt heads with on a weekly basis. The girl who would kick him into next month every time they exchanged words. The girl who didn't even bat an interest in his existence during their student years is now sitting beside him with her head resting on his shoulders and her arms wrapped around him. Comforting him as if nothing else mattered.
Despite everything that has ever happened between the two, he wouldn't give up this warm embrace for anything in the world. And neither would she.
Sunohara's eyes slowly began to close as his head rested on top of Tomoyo's. Her fragrance, her soft hair, her warm embrace, it made for one of the most comfortable ways to sleep. Before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.
Tomoyo cracked a small smile as she felt Sunohara doze off. After a few minutes of resting on his shoulders, the silver haired girl began to fall asleep herself.
"So anyways, that was the fun you two had last night." Akio said as he rested on the couch.
Sunohara sat on the couch as still as a statue, completely dumbfounded of the events that happened.
"Oh man.. This is something nobody will ever let me forget." Sunohara muttered as he rubbed his head trying to ease the bulging headache.
"Haha! You got that right." Akio laughed as he stood up.
"Tsk, what am I saying? You're the one that had to pole dance using Okazaki!" Sunohara retorted.
Just at that moment, Ushio walked into the room fresh from her sleep. "Good morning Akki, good morning Uncle Youhei." She said in a sleepy but innocent tone.
"Hmm?" Sunohara questioned as he noticed Ushio. "I thought you said everyone went home." He told Akio.
"Everyone except Tomoya and Nagisa that is." He said as continued to dry his hair with his towel.
"A buddy at Tomoya's workplace called in sick and they asked if he could fill in for the day.. And Nagisa went out for groceries with Sanae." Akio said.
Suddenly Ushio snapped out of zombie mode as she said, "Oh! I almost forgot." She ran back into the hallways with her footsteps echoing throughout the house and returned with what seems to be a folded flyer in her hand.
Ushio ran up to Sunohara and climbed the couch to sit next to him. "Daddy said to give you this." She said as she held out the flyer.
Sunohara took the flyer and unfolded it. "Hikarizaka High School Spring Festival"
