Authors Note: This is my first DBZ story so be gentle.
Summary: It had been Seven years since Gohan destroyed Cell Chi-Chi died giving birth to Goten. So both Gohan and Goten lives with the Briefs. On the day of the seventh Anniversary of Cells defeat Gohan is feeling down. When he goes to the same place he always go to on that day Cell returns. Can Gohan defeat Cell again?
Authors Note 2: So I am so sorry that I didn't update this in a while I have had very little motivation to do anything but what I needed to do and as you can see the title chapter this is what Gohan had mentioned at the end of the last chapter the Spirit Bomb. I will explain that bit later in another chapter. As a reminder this is a AU story and pretty much after the first Cell Games everything is else in here is not cannon with the show as I have stated in my profile page that I hardly ever stay in cannon with any of my stories. Any rate, make sure to read the Author's Note at the end of the chapter.
The Return of Cell
Chapter Thirteen: Spirit Bomb
Gohan then flew up into the sky as high as he can as to be out of sight from Cell but still able to see him. He then raised his hands to the sky closing his eyes.
"For this to work I need to fully concentrate." Gohan muttered
Meanwhile back on top of the mountain with Piccolo and the others
"Hey what is Gohan doing and where did he go?" Erasa questioned
"Yeah I mean Cell will be regenerating himself soon Gohan needs to fire another big blast at him before that happens." Yamcha mentioned
"Piccolo can you hear me?" Gohan questioned through their link
"Gohan where are you? Why aren't you finishing Cell yet?" Piccolo inquired
"That's the reason why I retreated to the sky Piccolo I don't know if I can mustered another powerful Kamehmeha so I am resulting to an attack I learned during both times going into the Time Chamber in the last three weeks." Gohan told him through their link
"A new attack what new attack?" Piccolo inquired
Piccolo's eyes goes wide as he now figures out what attack Gohan was referring too as Goku had used said attack a few times in similar circumstances. Everyone was staring at Piccolo wanting to know what Gohan his telling him.
"Wait Gohan you mean the Spirit Bomb?" Piccolo questioned
"Yes and I will explain later but right now I need you and the others to lend me as much of your energies you can give without hurting yourselves I am trying to gather energy from all of Earth." Gohan explained through their link
"I understand Gohan." Piccolo stated
"Piccolo what is it? What did Gohan tell you and what about the Spirit Bomb?" Krillin inquired
Piccolo turn towards the others.
"Listen up everyone, we don't have a lot of time Gohan has somehow manage to learn the Spirit Bomb but we need to lend him as much energy as we can give." Piccolo explained
"Yes of course if he can create a big enough Spirit Bomb then Cell won't stand a chance." Yamcha stated
"Yeah let's hope everyone raise your hands into the air Gohan should be able to do the rest." Piccolo instructed raising his hand
Everyone does so, Vegeta grunts but does so none the less even Hercule and the news crew do so as well.
Back with Gohan
"Every living thing of Earth please lean me your energy and together we can destroy Cell." Gohan called out
Meanwhile back on top of the Lookout
"What is Gohan doing?" Launch inquired
"Dende." Piccolo called out through their link
"Piccolo what is it?" Dende inquired
"Dende all of you on the Lookout must raise your hands into the air and lend Gohan as much energy as possible." Piccolo instructed through their link
"Why what's going on Piccolo?" Dende questioned
"Gohan is trying to create a powerful Spirit Bomb." Piccolo informed through their link
"Of course now I understand Piccolo." Dende stated
"Dende what's going on?" Bulma inquired
"We all need to raise our hands into the air and lend Gohan our energy so he can create a strong enough Spirit Bomb to finish off Cell for good." Dende explained
"That boy is just like his father always full of surprises." Bulma stated
"Yeah but we can worry about it later Bulma but right now Gohan needs as much power as we can give him." Master Roshi told her
Bulma turned around to face the old master.
"Right." Bulma agreed
"Well let's do it then." Launch stated
Everyone on the Lookout raised their hands into the air lending Gohan their power.
Meanwhile back in Other World
"I was wondering when Gohan was going to use that move." King Kai stated
"Yeah and if Gohan can gather enough energy from Earth Cell will be taken down for good." Goku mentioned
"Yeah but the question is how are they going to get everyone on Earth to raise their hands in the sky and lend Gohan their energy?" Chi-Chi inquired
"Leave that to me Chi-Chi." King Kai assured her
Meanwhile back at the Cell Games with Gohan
Suddenly Gohan could feel his friends' and families' power combined into a decent size Spirit Bomb.
"Awesome and this is just from my friends and family." Gohan mentioned
Back on top of the mountain with Piccolo and the others
"Whoa look at that thing it's huge." Sharpener stated
"Yeah but it's still not enough." Piccolo stated
Everyone looked at him.
"It isn't?" Videl inquired
"No in order to insure that it be enough it needs energy from every living being on Earth, the plant's trees, water, sun, and of course all the people of Earth in order for this to work." Piccolo explained
"Damn it if only our camera didn't get damage we could easily inform all the viewers to about this and help him out." The news reporter mentioned
"Maybe I can help." A voice called out
Everyone looked up towards the sky.
"King Kai is that you?" Tien questioned
"Yes Tien and I am with Goku and Chi-Chi I can easily have you guys communicate with everyone on Earth." King Kai said from Other World
"Awesome thanks King Kai." Chiaotzu stated
"But who will be able to convince all those people?" #18 inquired
"Um guys we might have a big problem on our hands." Sharpener mentioned pointing towards the ground below them
Everyone looked towards the ground where Sharpener was pointing towards and their eyes go wide.
"Oh no not good it's happening faster then we first expected." Piccolo stated
Meanwhile back with Gohan
Gohan looks towards the ground and sees Cell's bottom half jump up onto its feet and begins to regenerate.
"No not now the attack isn't even strong enough yet." Gohan muttered
"Gohan, we see it too don't worry about Cell just concentrate on getting that Spirit Bomb ready we'll distract him for as long as possible." Piccolo instructed through their link
"Right Piccolo just be careful all of you." Gohan told him
Back on top of the mountain with Piccolo and the others
"We have to stall for time." Krillin stated
"Yeah but what about telling all those people?" Goten inquired
"Leave that to me." A voice told them
They all turned towards the voice and saw it was Hercule that said it.
"Dad?" Videl questioned
"Look I have a lot to atone for and by doing this would be a good step." Herclue stated
"Well it really isn't like we have much of a choice." Mirai stated
"Then it's settle Mr. Satan, get through to all those people the rest of us will try and by Gohan as much time as needed." Piccolo instructed
"Come on let's get down there before Cell finishes regenerating and keep him from noticing Gohan." Tien stated
Vegeta, Trunks, Mirai, and Goten both turn straight to Super Saiyan 2 while the others power up to their max and fly off towards Cell's regenerating body.
Back with Cell
Suddenly, Cell's upper half pops out of its lower half green slime covering his top half and Cell pants heavily.
"Man that took longer than expected." Cell muttered
Cell didn't get much rest time as he suddenly felt a swarm of Power Levels heading his way and turns towards them to see Piccolo and the others coming at him full force but no Gohan to be seen.
"Where did that brat go off too?" Cell wondered
Cell try to pick up Gohan's energy but couldn't.
"Fuck it, I'll find him later and just deal with these pests first." Cell mentioned
Piccolo was the first one to reach Cell and went to punch him but Cell blocked that attack but ended up getting kicked in the side by Tien which causes Cell to go flying a few feet back but catches himself to see all the others standing next to Piccolo and Tien.
"Well looks like you all have banded together but tell me where did Gohan disappear too?" Cell inquired
"That's for us to know and you not to find out Cell." Yamcha stated
"So for now you can deal with us." #18 told him
"Well if you all are in a hurry to die then I be more than happy to grant you requests." Cell stated
Cell then powered up to his max and head straight for the Z-Warriors.
"Guys be on guard and don't let up even for a second." Vegeta instructed
The others nodded and all of them went straight at Cell throwing punches and kicks at him with Cell blocking some of them and throwing some of his own.
Back on top of the mountain with Hercule and the news crew
"Ok Mr. creepy voice Kai dude, how do I exactly talk to all the people of Earth?" Hercule questioned looking towards the sky
"All you have to do is talk and I'll do the rest so whenever you're ready go for it." King Kai explained from Other World
'Well here goes nothing.' Hercule thought to himself
Hercule took a deep breath and looked towards the sky to where Gohan is floating gathering energy for the Spirit Bomb.
"People of the Earth this is Hercule Satan, listen I know I have lied to all of you for the past seven years and I don't expect your forgiveness right away but now I need to ask a favor from all of you." Hercule started
Meanwhile all around the Earth
"As you see, Cell is still alive and the young teenage boy that was fighting him earlier before the news crew feed cut out is still fighting him and needs all your energy in order to beat Cell so I ask that you all please raise your hands in the air and lend him your energy so that you can help him in taking Cell down for good. I am not asking you to do this for me I am asking this for the young man that is fighting for our freedom from this monster." Hercule finished through King Kai
"You think that fake is telling the truth?" One man wondered
"In a way I think he is, I mean even though I cannot forgive him right now but Cell is still a threat to us and all and if it would help the true hero to defeat Cell then I will do it." A woman stated
"I agree let's help that young man defeat Cell." Another man stated
Everyone raised their hands into the air giving their energies to Gohan.
Meanwhile back in Other World
"Yes it work everyone is giving their energies to Gohan." Goku stated
"Yes and that Spirit Bomb will probably be bigger than the moon." King Kai mentioned
"Well that big buffoon manage to do something right." Chi-Chi stated
"Awe he isn't all that bad Chi-Chi sure he lied to all those people but he has admitted to his mistakes and he is trying to atone to it." Goku stated
Meanwhile back on Earth on top of the Lookout
"Yes their doing it, their giving Gohan their energy." Dende cheered
"Yes now it would be up to Gohan to give the finishing blow with all that energy." Master Roshi mentioned
Back at the Cell Games with Gohan
Suddenly, Gohan felt a huge energy surge and looks up towards the Spirit Bomb to see that it has grown to almost the size of the moon.
"Whoa now that is what I call power, Mr. Satan really came through." Gohan muttered having heard Mr. Satan talk to the people of the Earth
Back with Piccolo and the others fighting Cell
Vegeta, Trunks, and Mirai fired strong energy blasts at Cell who easily deflects them but wasn't able to react on time to Sharpener's and Erasa's kicks which sends Cell skidding through the ground several feet away from the Z-Warriors. Suddenly Piccolo looks in the air and his eyes then become wide as UFOS as he sees that the Spirit Bomb has grown big time since he last looked towards Gohan.
"I don't believe the size of that attack." Piccolo muttered
Krillin, Yamcha, Goten, and Videl cup their hands together powering up a Kamehmeha attacks.
"KAM…MAA…HAA…MAA AHHHHH!" They shouted out together as they fired out the attacks towards Cell
Cell sees this come and holds his hands up in front of him holding off the attack as it pushes him towards a small mountain. He then manages to jump in the air causing the attacks to destroy said mountain.
"Damn it where is Gohan?" Cell questioned
Cell then sense something massive and looks towards the sky and finally saw Gohan with a moon size Spirit Bomb.
"No this can't be that's where he has been hiding he has been gathering a planet's worth of energy to form Spirit Bomb." Cell muttered
The others look towards the sky as they saw Piccolo doing it and see what him and Cell are seeing.
"Holy shit, look at the size of that thing." Sharpener muttered
"Now that's what I call a Spirit Bomb." Krillin stated
"No joking Cell is going to be in for it now." Yamcha stated
"Come on we have to get out of the way so that we don't get hit by the attack as well." Piccolo instructed
The others nodded everyone but Videl flies off back towards the mountain they were standing before.
"Be careful Gohan I love you." Videl muttered
Videl then flew off towards the others.
Back with Gohan
Gohan saw everyone head back towards Mr. Satan and the news crew and then looked towards Mr. Satan and smiled at him.
"Way to go Mr. Satan, you really are a hero." Gohan shouted out
Cell turns around and sees that everyone has left and then looked back towards Gohan in the sky holding up the massive Spirit Bomb.
"No this can't be the others were just a distraction." Cell muttered
"This is for you Cell from every living being on Earth Spirit Bomb away." Gohan called out
Gohan then threw his hands towards Cell and the Spirit Bomb launched towards Cell. Cell saw this and put his hands out in front of him catching the bomb.
"AHHHH! AHHHHH! AHHHH!" Gohan shouted out holding his hands out in front of him putting his own energy into the attack to overpower Cell.
AN: Well that's the end of the thirteen chapter. Now the next chapter will be the conclusion of the Cell Games. Who will win? Well it be Gohan or Cell? The only way to know is to stay tune and find out. I have the ending all set I just need to write the beginning and part of the middle of the next chapter and if I can keep my motivation going then I can probably get it out by Friday night but no promises.
