Authors Note: This is my first DBZ story so be gentle.
Summary: It had been Seven years since Gohan destroyed Cell Chi-Chi died giving birth to Goten. So both Gohan and Goten lives with the Briefs. On the day of the seventh Anniversary of Cells defeat Gohan is feeling down. When he goes to the same place he always go to on that day Cell returns. Can Gohan defeat Cell again?
Authors Note 2: First of all I just like to say that I am sorry for taking so long in getting this chapter out just been busy these days and haven't really had the energy to write for my stories. I have recently got a new position at work which has me working a lot of midnight shifts so until I can get my new schedule all worked out into my routine I should be able to get back to my stories more. Now this chapter is something like what happen at the end with the battle against Kid Buu in the show so when it gets to that part it be best to listen to the music that played during that part that is similar to that and I mean the music that was played in the English Funimation version not the Japanese version. Nothing against the original stuff as I have great respect for it, but I like the American version music wise better than the one from Japan.
The Return of Cell
Chapter Fourteen: Struggle to Overturn the Other
Gohan and Cell begin to pour as much of their remaining energies into the Spirit Bomb trying to overpower the other.
"AHHHHHH!" Gohan shouted out pouring more energy into his attack
Cell started to feel his grip on the attack slipping.
"No I am not about to lose to some Saiyan hybrid." Cell muttered
Cell then started to channel his own energy into the Spirit Bomb.
"AHHHH!" Cell yelled out
Meanwhile back on top of the mountain with Piccolo and the others
Piccolo and the others were watching in amazement by the attack that Gohan had manage to create, an attack that his father has used a few times in the past.
"Now I am beginning to understand why Gohan went back in a second time." Yamcha mentioned
"Yeah he had somehow figure out how to not only perform the Spirit Bomb but to also reach a whole new level of Super Saiyan too." Krillin added
Piccolo turned towards Krillin.
"Krillin get out the Senzu Beans we each need to take one and save one for Gohan." Piccolo instructed
"Yeah good idea Piccolo." Krillin agreed
Krillin went for the bag of Senzu Beans and when he grabbed them he felt something strange and when he opened the bag his eyes go wide and jaw open.
"No please tell me this isn't true." Krillin stated going through the bag
"What is it Krillin." Tien questioned as everyone turn to face the former monk
"The Senzu Beans they all have been crushed." Krillin stated
Krillin then dump the contents of the bag to the others horror, bean pieces fall out.
"No it must of happen when we were distracting Cell." Yamcha stated
Meanwhile back in Other World
"Yes Gohan is doing it. That's my boy." Chi-Chi cheered
Both Goku and Kind Kai just keep their focus on the battle not so cheery as her.
"Hey guys what is with the serious faces?" Chi-Chi inquired
"Chi-Chi, Gohan doesn't have this in the bag his energy is rapidly declining." Goku informed his wife
"What are you talking about Goku?" Chi-Chi question starting to get a bit angry
"Goku is right Chi-Chi, Gohan is having trouble maintaining his Super Saiyan 3 form it is only a matter of time before he loses his powers all together." King Kai told her
Chi-Chi then got a look of fear in her.
Meanwhile back on Earth on top of the Lookout
Everyone is looking through the crystal ball seeing the power struggle between Gohan and Cell.
"Yeah Gohan is doing it he is going to win." Bulma cheered
"I hold off on the cheering Bulma Gohan doesn't have this in the bag not by a long shot." Master Roshi told her
"What you talking about Master Roshi?" Bulma questioned
"Yeah I mean look at the size of that thing there should be no way Gohan could lose." Launch mentioned
"Gohan's energy is dropping at a pretty fast rate." Master Roshi told them
"He's right Gohan is struggling to just maintain his Super Saiyan 3 form it won't be long till he drops out of that form and it would just keep dropping until he is back to his normal form." Dende explained
The others look at them in shock.
Meanwhile back at the Cell Games with Piccolo and the others
"Hey it really isn't all bad guys I mean Gohan has this in the bag after all." Sharpener told them
"Yeah there is no way he can lose with that attack he is using now." Erasa added
Videl agreed with both of them. Piccolo then looked at his oldest friend and former student with a serious look on his face.
"I'm not even sure of that anymore." Piccolo stated
"What you mean Piccolo?" Krillin questioned
"Yeah I mean Gohan has this don't he?" Yamcha wondered
"Even though that Spirit Bomb as a lot of power stored in it, Gohan is losing his own energy which means that he is having trouble controlling his own attack." Piccolo explained
"As much as I hate to agree with the Namek but Gohan is slowly losing this fight we can only hope Gohan can pull this one off." Vegeta explained
The others look on in shock at this and turn towards Gohan and Cell.
"Gohan." Videl muttered
Meanwhile back with Gohan and Cell
Gohan and Cell continue their struggle with Gohan feeling his power slowly draining.
"Come on, come on." Gohan muttered
Suddenly Gohan drops out of his Super Saiyan 3 form returning to his Super Saiyan 2 form.
"No I'm losing power I have to keep hanging in there." Gohan muttered pouring more power into the Spirit Bomb
Cell saw this and put a smirk on his face.
"Yes, Gohan is losing power it won't be long before I have complete of the attack then the Earth well be mine." Cell muttered
Meanwhile back on top of the mountain with Piccolo and the others
Piccolo and the others minus Hercule and the news crew were able to feel the big drop in Gohan's energy.
"No not good Gohan just lost over half his energy." Chiaotzu stated
"Gohan don't give up man you got this bro." Sharpener called out
"Come on Gohan, you have gotten yourself out of worse situations then this kid." Piccolo muttered
Meanwhile back on top of the Lookout
"Oh this is really bad." Master Roshi stated
"I know he just lost over half his power. It's going to take a miracle for Gohan to win now." Dende added
Everyone else look at the two of them now more worried for not only for Gohan but for the safety of the planet.
Meanwhile back in Other World
"Oh no, Gohan just lost over half his power, I'm afraid that Gohan won't be able to last much longer now." King Kai informed Goku and Chi-Chi
"Gohan don't give up son the entire universe is counting on you." Goku stated
"Gohan." Chi-Chi muttered
Meanwhile back on Earth at the Cell Games with Gohan and Cell
Gohan stood floating in mid air now barely able to maintain his normal Super Saiyan form while at the same time to keep control of his Spirit Bomb.
"Please not now don't give out on me now." Gohan muttered
Gohan tries his best push his attack towards Cell but then he feels something he didn't want to feel.
"DAMN IT I'M ALL OUT OF POWER!" Gohan yells out as he then returns to his normal state
Gohan now is losing his grip on his own attack to Cell. Cell sees this and smiles.
"Yes victory is mine." Cell muttered
Meanwhile with Piccolo and the others.
"No Gohan lost he has no more power left to give." Piccolo stated
"Damn it we were so close." Krillin muttered
"And thanks to Cell we don't have any Beans left to give Gohan." Yamcha added
"Man I wish there was something we could do to help him." Mirai mentioned
Piccolo's eyes goes wide.
"Mirai that's it." Piccolo stated
"What?" Mirai questioned confused
"Dende can you hear me?" Piccolo questioned
"Loud and clear Piccolo." Dende confirmed through their link
"Dende listen closely we don't have much time you need to summon the dragon now and use the first wish to restore Gohan's powers back to normal." Piccolo told him
Everyone looked at Piccolo in shock.
"Wait Piccolo you mean the Dragon could restore Gohan's power to normal?" Tien questioned
"Yes it should easily be within the Dragon's power to do so." Piccolo confirmed
Meanwhile back on top of the Lookout
"Yes of course Piccolo and once Cell is defeated we can straight away use the second to fix all the damage Cell caused." Dende stated
"Yes you must hurry though Dende, Gohan won't last much longer." Piccolo stated through the link
"Right Piccolo." Dende agreed
"Dende what's going on?" Bulma questioned
"No time to explain, Mr. Popo get the Dragon Balls out here now." Dende instructed
"Yes right away Dende." Mr. Popo agreed
Mr. Popo then runs into the building.
"Dende what did Piccolo say and why summon the Dragon now?" Master Roshi inquired
"Gohan has no power left in him and Cell will easily turn the Spirit Bomb against him at any second, but if we can use the first wish from the Dragon Balls, we can restore Gohan's powers to normal and he will be able to defeat Cell for good." Dende explained
"Ah yes good thinking." Master Roshi stated
Mr. Popo then runs out with the Dragon Balls in hands and sets them down next to Dende.
"Here they are Dende." Mr. Popo told him
"Thank you ok guys step back." Dende instructed
Everyone does so.
"Internal Dragon, by your name I summon you force. Shenron arise." Dende called out
Suddenly the Dragon Balls glow brightly and the sky goes completely dark and with thunder and lightning striking about. Just then a big green Dragon with red eyes appears before them.
"You who have summoned me I shall grant you any two wishes that are within my power to grant." Shenron told them
Dende then quickly walks a bit closer to Shenron.
"Um yes Shenron, can you restore the power level of Gohan the Saiyan hybrid that is currently fighting Cell right now back to normal?" Dende requested
"Such a wish, is well within my power to grant." Shenron confirmed
"Cool alright then Shenron, I wish for Gohan's power level to be restored back to normal." Dende wished
"Your wish shall be granted." Shenron told them
Shenron's eyes begin to glow red as everyone on the Lookout dance happily.
Meanwhile back at the Cell Games with Gohan and Cell
"Gohan it truly has been a grand battle but I'm afraid I shall end this little game of ours." Cell mentioned
"It's no use I can't go on anymore. I'm sorry everyone." Gohan muttered as his hands drops to his side
"Oh, and do say hi to your dear old father for me when you meet up with him in Other World Gohan." Cell told him
Cell then pushed some more of his power into the Spirit Bomb sending it straight for Gohan. Gohan is pushed back at the feel of a wind of some sort and opens his eyes wide at what he is feeling.
"Gohan, we just summoned Shenron and used the first wish to restore your powers back to normal." Dende told him through the link with a happy chuckle coming from his end
Gohan begins laughing happily as the Sprit Bomb inches closer to him.
"Hahaha hey your right Whoa hue it's back. Thank you, thank you my friends wow." Gohan muttered the last part
Gohan then powers up straight to Super Saiyan Two and thrusts his right arm in front of him.
"AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHH!" Gohan shouted out as he holds the Spirit Bomb in place a few feet away from him
Gohan grunts a little then raises both arms in the air and brings them down in front of him.
"AHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH!" Gohan yelled out as he then pushes the Spirit Bomb back towards Cell with blinding speed
Cell blown back a few feet sees this coming.
"What? No way, how can this be?" Cell questioned
Cell then puts his hands in front of him again and catches the Spirit Bomb struggling to push it back towards Gohan.
Meanwhile back on Earth on top of the Lookout
"Yes he's doing it, alright." Dende cheered
"Yeah Shenron really did it." Launch mentioned
"Yes finish it Gohan." Bulma cheered
Meanwhile back in Other World
"Yes, this is awesome. Shenron really restored Gohan's powers." Goku cheered
"Yeah, Gohan has him backed in a corner now." Chi-Chi stated
"Oh yeah, and I helped taught the boy that little technique." King Kai bragged a bit
Meanwhile back at the Cell Games with Piccolo and the others
"Whoa, hey do you guys feel that?" Yamcha questioned
"Is that my big brother?" Goten inquired
"Yes, Gohan has his old strength back." Piccolo confirmed happily
"Oh yeah, he can't lose now." Krillin cheered
Meanwhile back with Gohan and Cell
Cell was having a real hard time trying to stop the Spirit Bomb as his feet digs into the ground and the attack pushes him back a few more feet.
"No, this can't be happening I am the perfect creation I can't lose like this not again." Cell complained struggling to hold off the blast
"It now ends here Cell you have lost." Gohan stated
Cell stared at him in shock as he struggles to hold back the attack.
"Cell you have caused nothing but pain and hurt and for the last seven years I have been beating myself up for what happen the last time we fought. But I have to say, I was kind of glad you came back this time as it gave me the chance to train harder then I have in the last seven years to redeem myself completely this time. I wasn't going to make the same mistake I did seven years ago." Gohan explained
Gohan drops one hand balling it up into a fist for a few moments before bring it back up and giving Cell the two finger salute.
"Adios Cell, and do me a favor and stay dead this time around you fucking grass hopper." Gohan told him
Gohan the put a little more energy into the Spirit Bomb to which causes Cell to almost loose all control of the attack.
"Gohan." Dende called out through the link
"Gohan." King Kai, Goku, and Chi-Chi called out from Other World
"Gohan." Vegeta and Mirai called out
"Brother." Goten and Trunks called out
"Gohan." Piccolo called out
"Gohan." Videl, Erasa, and Sharpener called out
"Gohan." Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Krillin, and #18 called out
"Do it." Everyone called out at the same time
Gohan then brought down his arm and holds his right arm with his left.
"AHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH AHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHA HHHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHH!" Gohan shouted out as he puts every last energy into the attack
The Spirit Bomb then goes through Cell.
"NO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME AGAIN NO! NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Cell yells out
The Spirit Bomb then completely absorbs Cell destroying every last cell in his body then the Spirit Bomb floats into the sky and exploded causing a bright white light to shine over the area. Once the light dies down Gohan still in the same spot and position he was in moments ago then drops his arms and powers down to his normal form completely wiped.
"It's finally over for good." Gohan muttered relaxing his entire body
Gohan then slowly floats down to the ground.
Back with Piccolo and the others
"Yes, Gohan did it." Videl cheered
"Yeah he did." Sharpener agreed
"Come on, let's go greet him." Goten stated
Goten then goes racing off towards where his brother is landing on the ground with the others except for Mr. Satan and the TV crew following close behind him. As Gohan comes down towards the ground he thrusts his left arm in front of him giving everyone the thumbs up lifting his head up giving them all the Son trade mark victory grin.
"We all make a pretty good team after all, don't we?" Gohan inquired chuckling a bit
Everyone including Vegeta gave him the thumbs up too and they all starting laughing together.
AN: Well that's the end of the fourteenth chapter. That now concludes the second Cell Games. And there is only one or two more chapters left to go not for sure yet all I do know is that the next chapter will have an explanation of how Gohan reach Super Saiyan 3 and learned the Spirit Bomb from King Kai. Now also another reminder that updates are and pretty much well be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY slow for not only this story but my other ones as well so I just ask that you all please be patient and in the mean time if you any of you are Power Rangers fans then go check out my PR stories in the mean time.
