We took the bus back to my place. When we got there, I pulled out my keys. Instead of opening the front door, I hit the clicker to open the garage. Inside was a blue, yellow and black motorcycle I called Calypso, after the mythological sea nymph. I tossed the keys to Sun.

"Your plan, you drive." He nodded and caught the keys. He walked the bike out to the curb and got on, sticking the keys in the ignition. I got on behind him and put my hands around his waist. We hadn't even known each other for two years and yet we were as close as brothers. I took my goggles off my head and handed them to him. It felt odd not to have them on my head, and Sun definitely couldn't pull off the goggle look like I could. But if he was gonna drive he'd have to be able to see. Eventually we pulled up in front of an alleyway. Sun parked Calypso in a secluded spot and tossed the keys back to me. He began walking through they alley towards a large door. We went through and walked into a club. Of course I was familiar with clubs, but this wasn't what is expected. There was a man at the bar with gelled-back hair, a black vest and a red tie. There were other people in the club, but I hardly noticed them. Sun scanned the crowd for a minute and then waved. A brown-themed girl in a black beret and sunglasses waved back. why does she have sunglasses on? I wondered. It was daytime outside, but we were inside the windowless club. I wondered how she could see anything. We walked over to her.

"Hey Coco!" Sun said, giving her a high five.

"Hey Sun. Who's this guy?" Sun gestured to me.

"This is my friend Neptune. Neptune, this is my old friend Coco." We shook hands.

"So," Coco said, leaning on the bar.

"you wanted romantic advice, I'm the girl." Sun nodded.

"Neptune here is the one who needs help. He kissed his long-time crush and then ran away. The thing is, his crush likes him back." Coco looked over the tops of her sunglasses at me.

"You, sir, have messed up bad." I exhaled.

"I know. But what can I do about it?"

"Go talk to her." Coco pushed her aviators back up the bridge of her nose and shrugged. "If she really likes you back-"
"-she'll forgive you." A rabbit Faunus with long brown hair walked out of the back room and stood on the inner side of the bar. Coco looked mildly surprised.

"Hey Velv." She said. "Sun, Neptune, this is my girlfriend, Velvet. Velvet, this is the monkey Faunus I was talking about and his friend, Neptune." Velvet shook Sun's hand, and then mine.

"I mean, If she likes you back, she'll forgive you. Trust me, I'd know." she came around the bar and sat next to Coco. Coco kissed her on the cheek and her ears twitched in embarrassment. Coco grabbed Velvet's hand and said

"Oh, that's right. Sun, did I ever tell you how Velvet here became my girlfriend?" Sun shook his head. Coco spoke.

"Well, about 10 months ago, I discovered a cafe near the docks. I love coffee, and the place was delicious, cheap, and it wasn't too well known so there were never too many people there. I could just sit and work." Velvet rubbed Coco's hand.

"She's a fashion designer." Coco nodded, then continued.

"So there I was, sketching a new idea in my journal, sipping my coffee and wondering whether the outfit needed a scarf or a necklace, when the most beautiful girl I've ever seen ran past the window I was sitting next to." Velvet blushed and half-glared half-smiled at Coco, then picked up the story.

"I was being chased by four kids who were abusing me for my ears." she wiggled them for effect. "They were led by a tall guy with brown hair and armor. there was a shape on his chest, it looked like a bird." I figured out who she was talking about. Cardin Winchester, that jerk. She kept talking. "They chased me past a little cafe that was the kind of building you walk past without giving it a second glance. but the girl who came out was definitely worth another thought. she came out as the group who was after me ran past, and she just punched the first guy she saw." Coco decided to speak up again.

"The first thing I saw was a beautiful damsel in distress. But the second thing was a short kid with a green mohawk. I knocked him over and ran through the group until I reached the leader. I stepped in front of him and he tried to hit me. the key word here is tried. I simply dodged and side kicked him in the face. he fell like a ragdoll, and his two remaining cronies took off." Velvet began speaking again when Coco stopped.

"Then Coco here looked at me, and I got a good look at her for the first time. She was as beautiful as she is today. She took me to her house so she could patch up my ear that the armored boy had torn. She fixed me up, and invited me to come back the next day. we became friends, and then one day I kissed her. It was a lot like your situation, Neptune." she gestured at me. "I don't remember what compelled me to do it, I just know that I ran out the door as soon as it happened. The next day I went back to the cafe where she had come out to rescue me from the bullies. I think I was hoping she'd be there. She was sitting at a table for two, by herself. She saw me and waved for me to sit down. I thought she was going to be angry at me for kissing her, but before I could say anything, she kissed me back. and that was that." Velvet finished. Coco's beret was slightly off kilter, and she fixed it exaggeratedly, making Velvet laugh.

"Anyways," Coco continued. "Either she'll reject you or she'll be glad you kissed her. either way, it's better than not knowing, right?" I nodded. that made sense. I could do this. just go talk to her, and-

"I cant do this." I put my elbow on the table and my head in my hand. Sun patted me on the back.

"Sure you can, bro. You're Neptune Vasilias." I nodded.

"Alright, let's do this. Coco, Velvet, thanks for helping me out." They nodded. Sun and I stood up to leave, and Sun gave Coco a high five. I held my hand out toward Sun and he tossed me Calypso's keys. We walked out the door and got on the bike. This time I was in front, so I pulled my goggles off his forehead and put them on, then started up my motorcycle and off we went, back to Weiss' house and hopefully, my redemption.

When we got to Weiss' house, I got off the motorcycle and turned to Sun.

"Hey man, why don't you go visit Blake or something? I need to do this." He nodded.

"Yeah, alright. Just make sure I'm the first one to know what happens."

"Of course." He patted me on the back and began walking towards the back of the building where the infirmary was. I looked back at the door and took a deep breath before knocking. The person who opened the door was Weiss. She looked surprised to see me.

"Neptune? What-" I put my hand up.

"Weiss, I just came to say, I'm sorry. I was brash, and I took advantage of the situation."

Weiss put her hands on her hips, looking adorably angry. Anything she did was adorable.

"Neptune Vasilias, you dolt." she stepped towards me and put her hand on my chest, looking up into my eyes. I never realized how short she was, even with the heels. Her stature and poise made her seem so much taller. Her gaze softened as she looked at me.

"Stop apologizing. I loved it." My jaw dropped.

"But-"

"I just have one problem with what happened." I almost panicked. What didn't she like?

"It didn't last long enough." My knees almost collapsed with relief. I remembered who I was and regained my suave nature.

"Well, Snow Angel, we'll just not have to make that mistake next time, will we?" She smiled and grabbed my hand, dragging me inside. She yanked on my arm so I bent down a little, then she kissed me. after a few seconds, she pulled away, blushing.

"So, Neptune… does this mean… we're…?" I nodded.

"If you want to be."

"Of course I do. Why would I have kissed you back otherwise?" then she frowned.

"But don't think you're off the hook, mister. I'm still mad at you for running away." I laughed, she smiled, and just like that, my dream of the last few months came true. I could call Weiss Schnee my girlfriend.

Okay, that happened. These two will come back later, But the next chapter will be the conversation between Blake and Ruby.
