Chapter 29- After The Last Stand
Hello people! This chapter is after the bit when Dan says, "And guess what? We're back." And it's before the credits so it's sort of an in between/after chapter. I'm really sad because this is the second to last chapter! But I'm also really happy because then I'm going to publish the first chapter of my new story 'Life Changing'! Yay! Can't wait and I hope you'll all like it! I did promise myself I would publish the first chapter when I finished this story because of I'm wiring two stories at the same time, I'll forgot to update one and not the other. Sorry for rambling and I hope you all look forward to my new story as much as I am!

Hamish collapsed on the ground in defeat. He hit his head on the pavement while the spies smiled with satisfaction. Dan grabbed a pair of handcuffs from his pocket. He was about to arrest Hamish, but he stopped and turned to Keri.
"Keri, I think after what you've been through today, you deserve to arrest Hamish." He handed the pair of handcuffs to her and she smiled at him. Then she gave him a big hug and whispered in his ear, 'thank you'. Dan hugged her back and the spies around them smiled.
When Keri pulled out of the hug, she walked over to Hamish, pinned his arms behind his back and slapped the handcuffs around his wrists. He groaned in pain; he's now hit his head on the pavement, been thrown onto the ground, hard, by the St Hearts students and their head teachers, and now his arms are pinned behind his back.
Keri pulled him up onto his feet and gestured to Dan for him to hold the arrested man still. Dan nodded. He grabbed Hamish's arms and glared at him. Keri walked over to Stella and whispered something in her ear. Frank tried to listen in, but he couldn't get a word of what Keri was saying. When Keri pulled back to see what Stella would say, she laughed out loud causing everyone to look at her in confusion.
Finally she settled down and nodded. Keri smirked and walked up to Hamish, who was now hissing in pain but glaring at Keri at the same time.
"I'd like to give you a present from M.I.9, nut mostly from me." She smiled evilly, thrusted her leg back and pushed as hard as she could forwards; she kicked Hamish right in the balls. He wanted to protect himself so badly, but his arms were handcuffed behind his back. Everyone laughed and cheered at Keri's 'physical outburst' but Stella cried so much, it actually hurt her and she clutched her stomach in pain. Frank put a hand on her shoulder.
"Stella, just breathe." Stella just kept on laughing and crying. A little puddle formed on the pavement from all of her tears.
"It's…too…funny!" She gasped in between laughter. Now everyone was laughing more at Stella and her reaction that what happened previously. Dan laughed hard too, but his grip remained firm on Hamish's pinned-back arms. Hamish started to jump up and down on the spot in rage, which made Stella's laugh louder and Dan's grip looser. He grabbed Hamish's arms with both of his hands with caused Hamish to stop jumping. Dan sighed in relief.
"When is the mobile command unit gonna get here?" At Dan's words, a black van with the M.I.9 logo on it pulled up in front of the school. Dan dragged Hamish along the pavement to get to the van. A senior M.I.9 agent hopped out of the front of the van and slid open the door so Dan could push Hamish inside, obviously heavily guarded by 4 highly skilled M.I.9. Once Hamish got shoved in and managed to sit up, he glared at Dan and the M.I.9 agents; he would have done something much ruder, but his hands were handcuffed behind his back.
As they closed the door to the black van and drove away, Stella kept on laughing and crying, and it was still about Keri's 'physical outburst'. She bent over, still clutching her stomach while Dan, Aneisha, Tom and Keri were trying so hard not to laugh; this is the most, and one of the only times Stella has laughed this hard. Frank chuckled and thought of an idea that might snap Stella out of her hysterics.
"Um… Stella, I need to tell you something. M.I.9 weren't meant to tell you this but I figured you should know that…well… Stark's being reinstated as joint Head of M.I.9." By now Frank had Stella's full attention, blank face, just staring at Frank. Her mouth dropped open; her jaw almost hit the floor in shock. The teens stopped and stared at Frank, their faces said it all; horror and bemusement. Stella's faced scrunched up and lost it completely.
"ARE YOU BLOODY KIDDING ME?! THAT SON OF A BITCH SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE A JOB, LET ALONE BE APART OF M.I.9! YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!" She screamed and screamed and screamed some more until Frank burst out laughing. Stella's face was red with anger and rage as she breathed heavily from her surprising outburst. The teenagers' mouths dropped open with shock and then puzzlement at Frank laughing all of a sudden.
"HOW ON EARTH DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?! STARK IS GETTING FREAKING REINSTATED!" Stella clenched her fists, about to make Stark take a blow to the face.
"It's…funny…because…you…are so…angry…when it's…not…even…true." Frank choked out between laughter. Stella sighed with relief and then walked up to Frank, drastically changing her body language and facial expression; screwed up, red face, clenched fists and glaring at Frank right in the eyes.
"So you're telling me, that you said all of that crap just to get me to stop laughing?" She spoke very slowly which made Frank gulp, horrified about what Stella would do next. She stood there for a minute in silence, eying Frank like a hawk. Frank couldn't take his gaze off of Stella; she would probably kill him now.
Then, the unimaginable happened.
"Thank you! I probably would have died of laughter!" She hugged him so tightly and unexpectedly, Frank couldn't breathe.
"Ha…ha…" He tried gasping for air, but Stella hugged him so tight, she only realised until she looked up at his face. She jumped back in horror as Frank gasped for air. The four teenage spies laughed and laughed and laughed at that little moment.
"I think she's on her period." Tom whispered to Aneisha in between laughs. She spluttered out saliva as she tried to contain her fits. Dan and Keri laughed harder at Aneisha's reaction. Tom told them what he had said to Aneisha, and they laughed as hard as she was.
Frank just smiled at Stella and hugged her back, but not quite as hard. Tom, of course, had to ruin then moment and walk up to them. He whispered to Stella-
"Uh, sorry to interrupt this moment or whatever, but I've been thinking about something for a while now." Stella sighed in frustration and pulled back from the hug. She raised an eyebrow at Tom and put her hands on her hips.
"What?"
"I was just wondering, because of that really weird moment previously, are you on your period?" The teenagers gasped that he had just asked Stella, Chief Agent Knight, that question. Her face was priceless; wide eyes, red cheeks, dropped jaw, the lot. Frank tried to hold back his laugh for Stella's sake, and surprisingly managed to do it; usually he would just end up laughing and Stella would glare at him.
"What did you just ask me?" She asked very slowly and Tom froze in fear; man, when Stella is angry, you don't want to mess with her. She started to walk towards him slowly and he started to walk back, trying to avoid a blow to the face. He stumbled into Dan and Dan put a hand on Tom's shoulder.
"Mate, I think now's a good time to run."
"You know I can't run!" Tom hissed back.
"Just do it!" Tom stumbled again over Dan's feet, turned around and ran for his life because let's face it, he was. Stella was hot on his trail, speedier than lightning. Tom panicked and started to slow, but he wouldn't give up yet. I think next time, I'll think before I speak. I tend to do that a lot recently, he thought as he ran through the park across from the school.
Stella skidded to a halt when Tom climbed up the playground and hid in a tunnel. What was she thinking? She couldn't fit on that playground, even though she was pretty small. How the heck did Tom fit in that tunnel? She thought. She saw Tom's shoes peek out the side of the tunnel and decided to go back to the school; she did like scaring him, a lot might I add, but she didn't think it was a good idea to run too much because of, you know. She pretty much ran all day; why did KORPS have to pick this week to try and take over the world?
She causally strolled back to the school. Dan, Aneisha, Keri and Frank looked at her strangely as she shrugged.
"What?"
"Where's Tom?" Aneisha asked calmly.
"Oh you know the usual. Tom's hiding in the tunnel at the playground 'cause I chased him, no big deal." They started to chuckle quietly; when Stella's angry, she's scary.
"I'm gonna go check on him." Aneisha walked off to the park.
"I'd better go to, you know, just to make sure." Dan ran off after Aneisha.
"I need to recover from all this Mastermind biz; it hurt so much!" Keri walked off to a nearby bench to sit down and recover. Frank walked over to Stella and held her hands.
"Stel, you know you shouldn't be scaring people like that." Stella raised an eyebrow.
"Who gave you the right to tell me what to do?" Frank looked down and stammered-
"Uh…well…I was just…you know…" Stella shook her head and chuckled.
"Frank, I'm kidding. Calm down." Frank relaxed and his shoulders didn't tense anymore. Stella smiled gently at him.
"What?"
"Those were some pretty cool skills you showed those KORTEX robots." Frank smiled at Stella's praise.
"I trained with the best." Stella shook her head and laughed; Frank could be annoyingly sweet at times.
"Come on Karate Man, we've got to change. I don't think Mrs King will appreciate it if you turned up to work in a defence uniform."
"Okay, okay, I see your point. Come on then." Frank took one of Stella's hands and snuck back inside of the school. They both felt very proud of themselves; KORPS was defeated, for good this time. M.I.9 finally did it. Frank and Stella glanced at each other and thought the same thing,
