Hey guys! Sorry it took forever to update. I hate technolegy ;) Anyhow: Sorry again and here's the next chapter :)

O! Ps: Sorry for my spelling, I am using a touch-screen to type on and my fat fingers have a hard time pressing the buttons on a touch screen, lol, haha. Here ya go! =D

Cold. The only thing in the world is mind-numbing cold. My blood has turned to ice and my mind has disolved into a frozen slushy, I am seconds away from dying, and I know it. If on'u I could have told ,y children goodbye.

As Angel lay there, excepting the fact that she would soon see the other side, a hint of warmth crept through her. Slowly, her body regained feeling and she realized that someone was holding her. Something wet dropped on her face and she struggled to peal her eyes open. Everything was blurry. Once her eyes had somewhat cleared, she realized that she was being held tightly against someone's chest, strong arms squeezed her tightly.

Tilting her head up slowly,pushing past the nausea swimming inside of her, Angel focused on the face above her. Relief rose up when she realized it was Danny. His costume was different then she remembered, but his mask was off and his eyes were closed tightly while tears ran down his face.

Stretching out her arm, despite the protest of her frozen muscles, she lay her hand against his cheek.

Gasping, his eyes flew open and he brushed his hand through her hair. "Angel! You're alive!"

"Your body heat," Her teeth chattered, "You unthawed me." When he heard that, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tighter.

Picking her up gently, he beqan walking down the docks.

"Where are we going?" She shivered.

"I'm going to take you to SHIELD. They can get the poison out of you."

"NO!" Angel thrashed her wings and pushed herself out of Danny's arms, landing with a crash on the docks. Immediatly, her body spasmed an d she wrapped her arms around herself to keep from freezing.

"Angel? What's wrong!" Danny picked her back up, pinning her wings under her so that she could not get away. "I know that you have problems with SHIELD but they can save you."

"No. I would rather die than be found by them!"

Looking deep into her wide eyes, Danny sighed, he knew that she meant it. "Alright, I won't take you to them, but I'm not leaving you either. I may have somewhere else I can take you."

"Where?"

"I have an apartment in the city, my team doesn't know about it. You'll be safe there, I promise."
