Chapter 23: Rachel!

After a short car ride in which Kurt and Blaine spent the whole duration holding hands, they arrived at Blaine's apartment complex. They walked in and into the elevator in comfortable silence.

When they got to Blaine's apartment, the older man fiddled around in his back pocket trying to locate his keys. Once he achieved that, he extended his arm to fit the key in the lock. He stopped mid motion however and turned to look at Kurt. Said boy was leaning against the wall beside the door, smiling. "I meant it, I didn't ask you to pressure you into anything."
"Just open the door." Kurt said, the smile not leaving his lips. Blaine did as he was told.

Oh my god, this place is beautiful, the younger boy thought as he first entered his boyfriend's place. The wooden floors were an amazing walnut colour. All of the walls were pure white, except for the back wall which was untouched and kept its dark brown stone design. The living room alone was huge. The levels of the ceiling were different. When you walk in, it's cosy and relatively low, supported by black columns that cascaded from the ceiling. However, walking in, it opens up and seems impossibly high.

The furniture is beautiful mahogany wood. In the middle of the living room laid a grey rug. On it was a grey couch and black couch facing each other about five foot apart.

Blaine took in Kurt's expression once he took in the apartment. He felt relieved that he had impressed the fashion and design expert.

"Damn Blaine, your place is amazing."
"Thanks," the older man replied with a chuckle, "it's not that fantastic though. I just threw a few things together."
"I can tell we're gonna get along just fine."

The professor chuckled. Kurt made his way over to the grey couch. He sat down and crossed his legs.
"Aren't you gonna come sit with me?" He asked.

An open mouthed Blaine who was completely staring at his boyfriend's incredibly long legs the whole time nodded and moved closer to the other boy.

Blaine sat beside Kurt and instantly moved in for a kiss. He couldn't help himself.

Things got heated very quickly. Kurt got onto his knees, arching his back forward slightly so he could still keep his lips in contact with Blaine's. He pushed the older man back slightly until they were eventually lying on the couch, Kurt straddling Blaine.

Their kisses became pure teeth and tongue, each fighting for dominance. Surprisingly, this time Blaine pliantly allowed Kurt to take control of the situation, enjoying how much Kurt was coming out of his shell.

However, they were cut off by the ringing of Kurt's phone.

Kurt's phone projected the sound of his ringtone into the room and startled them both. They broke apart for air, but as soon as they realized where the sound was coming from, they returned to their kissing. The sound did not subside. It kept repeating itself. Kurt pulled it from his pocket, still kissing his boyfriend. His eyes went from closed in pure bliss to open and confused. He studied the screen as Blaine removed his lips from Kurt's and started kissing the younger boy's neck. "Who is it?" Blaine asked.
"My dad." Kurt replied. "Shit I was supposed to be back by now."

The hazel-eyed male stopped kissing his neck and his eyes went wide with realization. "Crap! Come on, I'll take you back. I don't want your dad hating me already, we haven't even met yet."

The drive from Blaine's to Kurt's was filled with small and sweet talk. Blaine has kissed Kurt goodbye and watched him enter his house safely. He drove away with a smile on his face.

When school commenced again, Kurt and Blaine met up before the day began in his classroom. Blaine was walking around the classroom placing worksheets on the desks, Kurt following him alongside.

"I'm so sorry about what happened. We didn't even get to-"
"Hey," Blaine cut him off and stopped dead in his tracks, smiling at the younger boy, "it's okay. It doesn't matter. You can come around any time. We don't need to rush anything. We've got forever."

And with that, Blaine leaned in to give Kurt a quick kiss. It lasted longer than expected though. Kurt had wrapped his arms around the professor's neck and their bodies were pressed against each other.

"Hey, Mr Anders-" a foreign voice chimed in. A girlish scream was heard. The two males parted from each other in shock and looked over to find the classroom door wide open and Rachel Berry stood with her hand over her mouth. Her papers were scattered on the floor.

"Rachel!" Both Blaine and Kurt called in unison.
