Note to TheOnyxDragon: they never kissed...

"Class, we have a new student," The homeroom teacher smiled and motioned towards Angel, "This is Angel, she is a transfer student from Alaska."

"Being a little obvious?" Sam hissed to Danny.

"Couldn't she have chosen a different name?" Luke asked quietly.

"Yeah, or at least chosen a different state to be from?" Peter added.

"What could I do? She refuses to lie!" Danny whispered back.

"If Fury finds out about this, we are all dead." Ava joined the hushed conversation

"No," Sam rolled his eyes, "We will have toilet-duty. SHE will be dead."

"SAM!" Four voices yelled and the teacher put her hands on her hips.

"Luke, Sam, Danny, Peter, Ava, since you are all being so disrespectful while I am introducing the new student, you will all be in charge of showing her around."

The team stifled a laugh and Angel grinned at them.

Later, the five teenagers were walking together to the cafeteria and Flash approached them, "So Rand," He growled, "I hear that you aren't actually dating the new girl. So now, you and I have a problem. I don't tolerate people lying to me."

"Beat it Flash," Luke rolled his eyes, "Danny just didn't want you terrorizing the poor girl on her first day."

"Terrorize?!" Flash spluttered, "How dare you Cage!"

"You want to fight?" Luke shoved his nose into the quarterback's face.

"Yeah, let's go!"

"Break it up!" Angel yelled, pushing between the two boys. "Good grief, boys are so stupid!"

"I feel you girl," Ava nodded, "Let's leave these jugs of testosterone and grab some lunch.

"Yeah, let's." Angel grinned and linked arms with Ava. Together they walked to the lunch room, leaving the boys staring at their backs.

"Great, just what we need in this school!" Sam threw his arms into the air, "Another Ava!"

The others laughed, but secretly agreed with him.

After school, Danny, Angel, and Luke walked towards Rand industries together.

"So, how was your first day of school?" Luke grinned.

"Considering I haven't opened a textbook in five years, it wasn't too bad. Calculus might kill me though."

The two boys laughed. At that moment, they approached Danny's company.

"Great," Danny groaned, "The pirahnnahs are out."

Staring at the front doors, which were blocked by the press, Luke suggested, "Let's try the back entrance."

Before they could more, the paparatzzi spotted them and rushed them.

"Darn it," Danny looked ready to bolt but Angel lay a gentle hand on his arm.

"Danny, say something to me in the language of Kun Lun."

"Why?"

"No time to explain!" She frowned at the people who were about to swarm them, "Hurry!"

"क्या कहूँ (Kya Kahum)?" He asked.

"That'll do." She whispered right as the swarm of people surrounded them.

"Mr. Rand!" One person exclaimed, "Where did you disappear to for all those years?"

"Get away!" Angel exclaimed, mimicking the accent Danny had used seconds before. "We can hardly breath with you swarming us!"

"Who's the girl?" One of the press asked.

Putting on a confused look, Angel laughed, "Oh Danny! Don't tell me that you didn't tell them!"

"Uh..." Danny and Luke glanced at each other, both thoroughly confused.

"You must forgive Danny," Angel continued. "He has always been so shy!"

"You mean you knew where he was while he was missing!"

"Goodness!" She laughed, "He wasn't missing, he was with me!"

"Why didn't you help him get home, everyone thought he was dead." One reporter frowned.

Faking an embarrassed expression, Angel blushed, "I am sorry Danny, I didn't realize you had kept this a secret. May I tell them the rest of the story since they already accidentally told part?"

"Um... I... I suppose so."

"You see," Angel turned back towards the reporters, "In my country, me and my mother were healers. We found Danny near the wreckage of an airplane and took care of him until he awoke. When he did come around, he did not remember anything! He didn't know anything except his own name. We adopted him into our tribe and he stayed with us for years. Pieces of his memory started to return years later, and he came back to America to find out who he was. A couple days ago, he offered to bring me to America to show me what he found of his past, we have been friends for years!" Angel laced her hand with Danny's and smiled at the press.

The papparatzzi looked at them in shock which gave them the oppertunity to break for the entrance to the company. By the time the press unfroze, they were already inside the company with the door barred.

Leaning against the wall, Angel let out a gust of air, and slumped to the floor. All her energy used up.

"Wow..." Danny grinned, "I am so glad I hired you to do that for me! Your are a great actor!"

"Thanks, you are a awful actor."

"Grinning, Danny offered her his hand to pull her up, "I know, but at least I have you!"

Taking his hand, she shook her head sadly, "I hated doing that. Lying... it... I don't like it. Don't have me do that again Danny. Now that you know your backstory, you can be the speaker. I will write your speeches, but I am not speaking to them again. Alright?"

"Agreed." He sighed.
