Chapter 2: Blu meets someone
It was morning in the city of Rio de Janeiro and Blu and Jewel were waking up.
"Morning, Jewel." Blu said flatly.
"And morning to you." Jewel replied in the same tone.
Ever since Jewel wanted to have that affair and Blu stopped her, the two were back together, but they were still a little unkind towards each other.
"I'm going to see Rafi, I'm be back." Blu said.
"Okay." Was all Jewel could say.
A few minutes later Blu arrived at Rafael's home and called to him.
"Hi Blu, how is it going?"
"I'm okay, me and Jewel still need to patch things up, it still haunts me that she tried to do that, I don't think I'm ever get over it."
"Cheer up Blu. Hey, how about we go to the samba club."
"Alright, I guess a little fun will not hurt."
Blu and Rafael flew to Nico and Pedro's samba club, where the party never stops. It was no surprise when there was lots of birds dancing to the music.
"Are you sure this is a good idea Rafi?"
"Of course Blu, you need to relax."
Blu tried to enjoy, but he could not, so he went to the side of the club, where he found a pretty yellow female bird laying on the side of the wall of the club.
"Hi, what's your name?" Blu said, nervous.
"Hi, my name is Pearl, what's your name?"
"My name is Blu. So what are you doing here, why are you not enjoying the music?"
"I got bored, you see I just broke up with my boyfriend and thought coming here would help, but it did not."
"Maybe it's because you do not have someone to dance with." Blu said, holding out his wing.
Pearl took it and danced with Blu for awhile, Rafael, Nico, and Pedro noticing this and were deciding what to make of it.
After Blu and Pearl decided they had enough, they walked wing in wing outside, where Blu was going back home to Jewel and Pearl to her home.
"Thanks so much Blu, you are a really good guy you know that."
"It was my pleasure, I enjoyed my time too."
"Well goodnight." Pearl said, kissing Blu on the cheek.
"Goodnight, Pearl." Blu said awkwardly.
Blu flew home, he was deep in thought about the kiss Pearl gave him and wondering what it would be like with him and Pearl together.
