Sorry for the delay, guys. But if you are following me than you will know that I am writing a story about cars/planes at the same time, so there will be a bit longer delays between chapters.
Chapter 4: Breaking Up
Blu and Jewel got to the samba club owned by Nico and Pedro.
"Let's go, Blu." Jewel said excitedly.
Blu, however, was scared, he kept looking around the club for Pearl, hoping she was not here as long as Jewel and him were around. Blu tried to stay focused on Jewel and dancing, but he could not, Jewel saw this and decided to ask what was the matter.
"Hey, Blu, what's the matter? You look like you seen a ghost."
"It's nothing, I'm just a little confused, I thought you are still mad at me."
"Why, if anything you should be mad at me, I was the one who almost left you, you saved me from a big mistake." Jewel said, nuzzling her head into Blu's neck.
Blu was getting even more scared and after awhile Jewel decided that Blu had enough. "How about we continue this at home."
"Good idea." Blu said, relieved.
As the couple were walking out of the club, a yellow macaw Blu hoped would never show walked into the club.
"Blu! How nice to see you, ready to go for another dance." Pearl said, happy.
"Blu, who is this?" Jewel asked, confused.
"I have no idea."
"Of course you do, we danced together and shared a kiss."
"Oh my god." Blu said in his head.
"You cheated on me!" Jewel shouted.
"Jewel, it's not what you think."
"Alright, I must have just imagined that this girl said she kissed you five seconds ago! You monster!"
"Jewel I can explain this!"
"No need, I can see that you are perfectly happy, I knew I should have left you!" Jewel said, the words piercing straight through Blu's heart.
Jewel flew away with tears in her eyes leaving Blu and Pearl standing in an awkward position.
"I'm just going to go in." Pearl said, awkwardly.
"What just happened?" Blu said in his head.
Blu flew away and spent the night atop the Christ the Redeemer Statue, he knew he could not go back home to Jewel, she would tear his eyes out the minute she saw him. Blu could only hope that he could continue with his life.
