Chapter 5: Talking to Blu and Jewel
It was the day after Blu and Jewel broke up, and Blu and Jewel's friends went to go talk to them.
Blu was still atop the Christ the Redeemer Statue, awake and looking out into the city and taking deep long breaths from time to time wondering what went wrong the past few days.
Rafael went to talk to Blu to comfort him and see if he was alright. "Hi, my friend, how are you you?"
"What do you think? I cheated on Jewel and she found out and left me, all because you guys told me it was alright!" Blu ended up shouting at Rafael.
Rafael backed slowly feeling very awkward indeed. "I'm sorry Blu." Was all he could say.
Blu sighed and lowered his voice. "No, I'm sorry, Rafi, it's really not your fault, I should be blaming myself." Blu started to tear up.
"Hi, it's okay, maybe you guys can try to work it out, make things right again."
"No, she will never go back to me, I know her, it's time to move on. You know I remember the time when we first danced in the samba club, Jewel and I, like it was just yesterday and we stared at each other and almost kissed, it was truly a magical moment."
Rafael than just came up with an idea of how to bring Blu and Jewel back together, and after comforting Blu a little more flew off to Eva, his wife.
While Blu and Rafael were having their conversation, Eva flew to talk with Jewel to see how she was holding up.
"Hi Jewel, how are you doing?" Eva asked.
"I'm still very upset at Blu, he cheated on me and denied it right in front of me!" I mean who does that!"
"Well are you going to forgive him, after all I mean you almost left him, remember." Eva pointed out.
"Yes I did, but I did not deny that I was going to do it, plus what he did was worse."
"In your eyes it is, what about his. I'm sure Blu feels sorry for what he did."
"I'm sure he does, but I decided to completely leave him, I already started looking for suitable boyfriends and nobody is going to stop me."
Eva, at this point gave up and flew back to her home to talk to Rafael about Jewel's condition, she did not know that when she would get back home that Rafael would have the perfect plan for the two blue macaws to get back together again.
