Chapter 25

Kagome POV

I could see the castle in the distance ever since we left our camp this morning. As we approached the gates opened and I was quickly pushed to the ground as Rin and Shippo attached themselves to my legs.

I get up and take one of Rin's hand and the other I take Kanna's and started walking up to the gate. Shippo took the time and hopped up onto my shoulder to catch a ride. Once we reached the gate I told the kids to run off and play and then turned to Sesshomaru.

He was smiling and walked up to me taking my hand. I hold onto his tightly, I had been watching him more since he said he would leave once we got here.

"Kagome, come with me."

He leads me down a path after telling Jaken to make sure everyone gets to his study in a couple hours. We come out in a large garden, The wind blows petals from the sakura trees towards me. I look to Sesshomaru, he had soften his face I could read his eyes better now as well.

"Kagome, You will be staying here, you have access to all the room connected to this garden, I will send a maid later to help you."

"Sesshomaru, please, don't leave me here, what if something happens?"

His eyes soften again as he moves forward. I step back and hit the pillar behind me. His hands are beside my head as he leans down to me.

"Trust me, I do not want to leave. My beast want to stay with you and make you my mate now, but I will wait. Please, watch the others, I leave you here to protect them."

He pulls away and I watch him walk away. I turn away knowing if I watched him any longer I wouldn't be able to let him leave. I walk over to the door I see slightly open and move in.

Looking around the room I see a big bed and then Sesshomaru's mark above a dresser that had two places to lay swords. Opening up the wardrobe I see a bunch of mens clothes. Blushing I step back and go back to the garden. I check each of the doors, but I could tell the other two bedrooms the kids ocupied for there were toys laying on the floor.

Did he mean for her to sleep in his room? She blushes at this and turns to go find him to speak a piece of her mind to him. after asking one of the maids where he was she pushes the door open to the study.

"Sessomaru, I thank you for extending the offer but I'm not sleeping in your room, i'll stay with the kids!"

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes as Sesshomaru looks up. I step back embarassed they all heard what I said to him, I wanted wanted to tell the whole world!

"She is sleeping where?!"

"You heard her Inuyasha, I believe she was saying that she was sleeping with the kids."

He stood up and walked over to me before looking back to the group sitting there.

"Inuyasha, get prepared to leave, I will join you at the gates in a moment. Kagome, please come with me.

Sesshomaru POV

We head back to my garden I turn around looking at her. She steps back blushing and looking down at the ground.

"Does the ground really interest you that much."

"I'm sorry Sesshomaru, I didn't mean to tell everyone that you did that."

"Who says I told you to sleep in my room, Though if you want you can sleep there, I would not mind, actually I would like it very much."

I move my hand up and cup her chin dragging her face up to look at me. Quickly I move down kissing her again and again. I pull away after a moment our eyes connecting as I stayed there.

"When I get back, you will be sleeping there anyway, as Lady of the West."

After a long discussion with my beast, he finally convinced me to not care what the council thought about Kagome, I had never cared before so why now.

I brush a piece of hair behind her ear before I kiss her forehead, turning I head to the front gate and see my brother there.

"Let us take down Naraku."
