Aunt Petunia strolled out casually, as if she was going out to pick and smell the roses. I cowered under the mean smile of hers; it was the kind of smile snakes make just before they bite you. I drummed my fingers nervously on my jeans.
She stared straight at me, her eyes likened to slits. "You look familiar," She said coolly while maintaining a steady advance towards me.
I cast a glance at Harry Potter, then flickered my gaze quickly back to my shoes. "Um... But I don't think you do," I muttered in one breath.
She made a sound that sounded like a grunt and then a squeaky growl. In one swift motion she dug her long painted fingernails into my chin and jerked it up to look at her. I tried coughing on her hand, and at once she drew her hand back, looking deeply revolted. Me, I congratulate my wittiness.
Suddenly her mouth dropped open like a gargoyle as she noticed with shock who I was. Her eyes expanded to saucer-wide. "You...You...You Nicolle's friend issit... oh my gosh... Oh, for goodness' sake... I better change the piano teacher...how can everything be so connected... I should propose moving to another state...no, country..."
So she must be Nicolle's aunt. Eeks!
"No, I'm... Sheryl Smith!" I had racked my brains but all I came up with was blabbing a lame reply. In fat, Aunt Petunia took this as a clue.
"Shelby's our name!" she squeaked in delight, as if she discovered a new human species. "Shelby-Shelby-Shelby!"
Meanwhile Harry Potter and Dudley were involved in a pretty rough fight, where Dudley punched the glasses off Harry Potter's nose so he could not see, and where Harry Potter pinched Dudley's arm to stop him from doing that, and where Dudley kicked Harry to stop him from doing that, and where-
Harry Potter vanished.
"WHERE'D HE GO?!" Dudley gave an ear-splitting yell.
And then there he was, standing on top of a chair about ten feet away. Aunt Petunia embraced Dudley in a massive hug.
"Oh darling are you fine? And you! Why are you here?!" She marched up angrily to him and slapped him so hard his skin turned instantly scarlet. When he didn't answer in shock of the sudden slap, he received another huge blow.
My heart pounded in my veins as I watched the scene, not daring to move a muscle. Aunt Petunia aimed another blow at him, but he was...gone.
I blinked, thoroughly confused. He could not have. I didn't see him move; he was as sill as a statue.
"Um..." A soft voice behind me caused me jumping a foot in the air as I let out a "AH!" I walked backwards, trying to make sure there was really no one and it was just my ears and eyes playing tricks on-
"Gotcha!" Harry Potter's voice and a pair of firm hands from behind gripped my arms to stop my legs.
"How... How did you do that?" I asked incredulously, because I did not believe that my eyes, ears and touch could deceive me all at once.
He shrugged, grinning from ear to ear while Aunt Petunia and Dudley eyed him contemptuously.
Without further ado, his fingers still tightly wrapped around my arm, we zoomed out. After sprinting a few dozen metres and out of the building, we stopped 'cause we both were sure they won't bother chasing after us, particularly Dudley, an immensely fat creature.
Heyy...:) How was it? Sorry I didn't updated for a long time... I had little time to type it... :( Thanks for waiting! x
