Reunited

The flight went well. I fell asleep unexpectedly and was unconscious for most of it. Bane woke me when we landed and the three of us grabbed our luggage and went to look for the car Talia sent for us. Our driver was waiting next to the door when he walked up to us and inquired our names. After confirming that we were who we said we were he led us to a car and we drove off.

We drove for quite sometime and as the minutes went by so did civilization. We eventually arrived in front of a large, old looking building with unique architecture. Once we and our luggage were out of the vehicle the man drove off, leaving us standing in the driveway. We walked the rest of the way to the door and once there Bane stepped forward and rang the doorbell.

After a few uninteresting seconds another man opens the door. He's dressed in the usual League of Shadows attire. Stepping back he lets us walk past into the foyer and closes the door behind us. Walking back in front of us, he leads us down a hallway and we stop in front of a beautifully carved door. He bangs the door knocker and leaves us waiting for whatever's on the other side.

"Come in." Even after a year Talia's voice is still recognizable. Bane goes in first with Barsad and I following. Immediately Bane and I are engulfed in a vise like hug. I wrap my arm around Talia, returning the embrace, and notice that the top of her head now reaches my chin. Once she releases us and steps back the change in her is blatantly obvious. Her hair has grown and I can now see her brownish-red hair color, she has small curves forming along her body, and her freckles are more noticeable were she's been in the sun.

She moves behind a dark wood disk and sit on a black leather desk chair. She gestures for us to take a seat, but there are only two. Bane scoots over in his chair and pats the too small space that's left. I move to sit there and end up halfway on Bane's leg, though he doesn't seem to mind. Barsad sits in the other chair and Talia appraises him for a few seconds before looking back at us. She studies our position curiously before speaking.

"The League has yet to hear of the death of my father and since I am the heir to the League I am their new leader, but because of my gender and age I feel that they would not take me seriously and they would try to overthrow my leadership. So I have decided the you, Bane, will be the leader of the League of Shadows, but behind closed doors I will tell you what decisions I want made. They are less likely to challenge your claim as leader and if they do, kill them. This afternoon I will call for a meeting in the foyer and you will announce your leadership there."

For someone of her age she is greatly mature. Ra's must have taught her well in our absence. Bane agrees to this, of course, and she gets up to show us our rooms. She leads us down another hallway and stops between two doors. She points at the one on the right side of the hall.

"That one is yours," she says to Bane, "that one's yours Barsad," she says pointing to the one on the left, "and Serenity, yours is over-."

"Actually, Bane and I can share a room."

She turns towards us, studying us again.

"Is there something I should know?"

I look at Bane, questioning whether or not would she tell her. He nods his head and begins to explain our relationship.

"Talia, Serenity and I have grown closer since our expulsion from the League and because of that our relationship has evolved into something more than simply friendship."

She ponders the information before speaking again.

"Okay," she briefly smiles at us before going back down the hallway. I raise a brow because of her odd reply and look to Bane, who just shrugs. Barsad just watches in curious amusement before entering his own room. Bane and I turn and walk into our own room. As soon as Bane and I have the door closed we instantly embrace, but it's a different type of embrace than our one with Talia earlier. Our lips connect and I'm practically on fire from the simple contact. I accidentally bite his bottom lip after he shoves me on a wall. It causes him to growl, which makes me groan in return. He literally rips my sari off and I slip my arms out of the sleeves while he rips his own shirt over his head.

I smooth my fingers over the scars decorating his torso and he traces my own with his calloused fingers. The adoring and lustful emotions that are apparent his eyes and his current movements make me unintentionally shift up against him. My wriggling brings him back to the present with more passion than before. We continue our actions throughout the night. Though it is the first time for the both of us, our bodies know exactly what to do.
