You guys are amazing! I have never had so many reviews for one chapter on any of my stories than the last chapter. You all really keep me going and wanting to write. I hope you like this chapter.

Zoe's head snapped in the direction Wade was walking. She was in complete shock yet again tonight. What was happening? Did she take to long? Is Wade over her? Over them? Would their relationship change in the opposite direction she thought 5 minutes ago. She watched as Wade put Wyatt in his crib and took the long way back to the couch. He paced around the coffee table but never once looked at Zoe.

"Wade, please say something." She pleaded and stood up. He finally looked at her as she walked towards him. "Say anything, please."

Wade licked his bottom lip and stalked towards her. Before Zoe knew what was going on she was up against Wade and his lips were attached to hers. His hands were on either side of her waist and pulling her closer. In an instant Zoe's arms were wrapped around Wade's neck and her hand was tanged in his hair. Zoe moaned into the kiss, allowing Wade access and they explored that oh so familiar territory they both missed so much. It was so natural for them, like nothing has changed. Wade pulled away and rested his forehead on hers. He opened his eyes and smiled. Zoe didn't move, her arms still wrapped around his neck and Wade now had one arm snaked around her back and his other hand tangled in her hair and resting on her cheek.

"I love you too." He barley said above a whisper and kissed her one more time before lifting his forehead off hers. Zoe still didn't move but a single tear started to roll down her cheek that Wade quickly brushed away with his thumb. "I love you." He repeated again, louder this time.

Zoe smiled, finally sliding her hands away from his neck and down his chest, resting her right hand on his chest. She could feel his heart beating a mile a minute and her smile widened. "I love you so much." She said and rested her head on his chest.

Wade took her hand and led her back over to the couch. They were silent for a minute just smiling at each other.

"So." Wade finally broke the silence. "Are we really doing this?"

"I don't want to be anywhere else. I'm sorry it took me so long to figure it out. You want this right?"

"I have never wanted anything more." He smiled and brushed a piece of hair behind her ear.

Zoe leaned in and kissed him again. Wade slowly lowered her back onto the couch and this quickly turned into a heavy make out session. Wade started to unbutton Zoe's shirt when she put her hands on top of his and pulled away.

"What?" Wade asked

"Wyatt's right there." She whispered

"So, we'll wheel him in the bathroom or out on the porch."

"Wade" she slapped his chest and pushed him off her. She sat up and buttoned her shirt back up.

Wade hung his head and sighed "Fine, no sex in front of the little guy but there is nothing wrong with kissing, plus he's sleeping. Let's continue what we were just doing." He winked at her

Zoe couldn't say no to the smirk on his face. "Come here." She whispered

This make out session lasted until Wyatt started screaming.

"Is it too late to call Lavon and AB to babysit? It's only 1 am." Wade asked kissing Zoe's neck and trying to ignore his son.

Zoe slapped him again and shook her head. "If only he wasn't in tremendous pain." She rolled off of Wade and straightened out her hair as she walked to Wyatt's crib. "What's the matter baby?" she said picking him up and putting her hand on his forehead. "At least your fever has gone down. What else can I do for you?"

"Woey" he mumbled and laid his head on her shoulder

Zoe rubbed his back and started to walk around the house.

"Here, try this." Wade handed her his pacifier. Zoe smiled and stuck it in his Wyatt's mouth. "You look really hot with him."

Zoe laughed "Thanks"

"He really loves you."

"I love him too but you have to take him."

"Ok, why?"

"Because I am not taking him in the bathroom with me." Wade held his arms out to take the toddler. "Here, go to Daddy." She handed him over. Wyatt just snuggled up to Wade and grabbed a fist full of his shirt. "You look hot too." She winked at went into the bathroom.

Wade looked down at Wyatt. "Hey Bud." He tickled his side and Wyatt squirmed and grunted at him. "Not in the mood?" he asked and looked back at the closed bathroom door. "Thanks for that little Mama thing back there, helped your Dad out a lot."

"Mama" Wyatt mumbled and picked his head up off Wade.

"Yeah, one day she will be." Wade smiled at him and heard the bathroom door open. "Shh, this conversation never happened." He whispered. Zoe walked around and sat on the couch next to Wade and Wyatt. "Better?"

"Yes." She smiled and put her hand on his knee. "How's he doing?"

"Seems ok, very mushy though."

Zoe put her head on Wade's shoulder. "This feels right." She said as she rubbed Wyatt's back

"Yeah it really does." He kissed her head "We're going to do this right this time. I'm in for the long haul."

"Me too Wade. Me, you and this little guy."

Wyatt turned his head so he was looking at Zoe. He smiled "Mama" he said and reached his hand out to her.

Zoe took it and looked up at Wade "Did you train him to say that?"

Wade laughed "No, I promise you I did not. He came up with that all on his own."

"As much as I love it, it needs to not be said in public."

"I know. The town would have a field day with that."

"Yes it would."

Wade looked down at Wyatt. "Wyatt" he called and Wyatt turned his head to look at Wade. "Who's that?" he asked him and pointed at Zoe.

Wyatt looked at Zoe and just stared at her. "Doc" he said

"Very good. Remember that next time you're at the Rammer Jammer." Wyatt reached his arms out for Zoe and wiggled off Wade's lap and onto hers. "He likes you better than me." Wade joked

"Well I am the Doc here. He's a smart one."

"That he is. I don't blame him for wanting to lay his head on your chest." He winked

Zoe rolled her eyes and laughed "Aren't you the jokester?"

"I am" he yawned

"You look so tired. Why don't you go to sleep? I'll take care of him."

"No, I'm ok." He yawned again

Zoe smiled at him "Go, I got this. He's almost out again anyway." she looked down at Wyatt who was having as much trouble keeping his eyes open as his Dad.

Wade just nodded and gave in. He kissed Wyatt's head and then he kissed Zoe. "At least he doesn't hit me when I try to kiss you."

Zoe chuckled "Poor Joel."

"Oh yes, poor Joel. I feel so bad for him." Wade joked and stood up from the couch. "You staying here?"

"Whether we were back together or not I was staying here. It's almost 2am." She laughed

"Gotcha, just now you're allowed in my bed."

"Allowed?" Zoe winked at him. "I'll be there in a little bit."

Wyatt was asleep a few minutes later and Zoe carefully laid him in his crib. "Night baby" she whispered and walked over to Wade's bed. She climbed in and snuggled up next to Wade.

"Thanks for coming tonight."

"Of course, how could I not? My baby didn't feel good. I am so glad I did."

"You're baby." He rolled his eyes "I do like the sound of that."

"I love him. He's a little miracle worker." She smiled and laid her head on his chest

"That he is and he knows it too. Breaking out the Mama card." He laughed

"You looked so scared when he said that." She chuckled and looked up at him

"I was, I figured there would be a Zoe shaped hole in my door. I didn't expect you to just accept it."

"I think I was shocked for all of two seconds and then this feeling just washed over me that I still can't explain. It was just." She paused trying to think of the right word. "Amazing, I have no other words."

"When I saw you looking down at him after he said that I didn't know what the look on your face was at first but then I remembered seeing it from my Mom when I was little."

Zoe kissed him "I don't know but it just seemed so right."

"It is." He kissed her nose "I love you Zoe."

Zoe smiled "I love you too Wade." She paused for a minute "Man I love saying that."

"I love hearing it. I've been waiting for 6 months." He tickled her side

"Shut up" she slapped him "I wonder who is going to win the pool."

"What pool?"

"Oh please, like there isn't a pool going on in this town about when we'll get back together."

Wade chuckled "So true. They're going to love that we are back together. That's all the whispers I have been hearing since Joel left."

"Oh me too. Shula and Frank were talking about us in the waiting room the other day. I just had to shake my head. This town has nothing better to do then talk about each other but I love it. At least I know someone will always have back in a knife fight." She winked

"You'll always have me." He yawned and pulled her into him

"That's all I need." She wrapped her arm around him and took his hand in hers

He kissed her head. "Night Babe."

"Good night Wade." She said and closed her eyes.
