"Wyatt, sit or I'm getting the highchair." Wade threatened the toddler who was climbing up and down the bar stools. Wyatt growled at him. "Alright Little Bear, growl all you want but I will still put you in one. Where is Zoe?"

"Woey" he smiled and climbed up on the bar

"Sit" Wade yelled

"Ok" he smiled at him and finally sat down, swinging his feet and laughing as his shoe laces twirled around.

Wade went around to the other side of the bar and took ahold of his feet. "Had to buy shoes with laces those velcro ones weren't cute enough. That women and her fashion sense. You're the best dressed baby in Bluebell." He shook his head as he tied the laces of the tiny work boots. When he looked up Wyatt had the collar of his shirt in his mouth. "Yuck, don't suck on that, eat this." He gave him a bowl of pretzels and then rebuttoned his little plaid shirt.

"Wade, we need another case of beer from the basement." Wanda called

"Ok, I'll go get it, keep an eye on the monster?"

"Of course." She smiled

"Don't move." Wade warned

"Bye Daddy" he waved

"Wanda" Shula called from a few tables away from the bar.

"Watch him." She told Chester and then ran over to Shula.

Jesse Kinsella walked into the Rammer Jammer and looked towards the bar. If he didn't know any better he would have thought he stepped out of a time machine that took him back 30 years. There was a little boy sitting on the bar that looked exactly like his brother.

"Hi" Wyatt waved to him

"Hello." Jesse replied confused "Who are you?" he asked

"I Wyatt." He smiled

Jesse smiled at the toddler. "Well Hi Wyatt. Do you know Wade?"

"Daddy?" Wyatt asked and looked towards the back room where he watched Wade go through.

"Uh wow, I don't know, maybe? Is Wade your Daddy?"

"Yes." Wyatt nodded

"Jesse?" Wade asked coming out of the back room

"Dat Daddy." Wyatt smiled and pointed to Wade "Wade."

"Daddy?" Jesse asked

Wade rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh yeah, I see you met Wyatt."

"That I did, he's very friendly."

"Yeah" Wade laughed nervously "What uh, brings you into town?"

"Um no offence Little Bro but I'd rather start with when you had a kid."

"I guess we could start there. Take a seat. Beer?"

"Sure, what will you have Little Man?" Jesse asked Wyatt

"Juice" Wyatt showed him his cup

"Nice, he's cute. Looks just like ya."

"Yes he does." Wade laughed "You say hi to your uncle?" Wade asked

"Uncle? Von?" he asked

"No not Uncle Lavon, Uncle Jesse." Wade pointed to Jesse

"Uncle Esse." He said and shoved a pretzel in his mouth and then handed one to Jesse

"Uh, thanks." He took the slimy pretzel from the toddler and put it on a napkin. "When did you have a kid?"

Wade chuckled "I got him a year ago in November. He'll be two in a couple days."

"Huh?"

"I didn't know about him for his first year."

"Oh so he doesn't belong to Zoe?"

"Woey?" Wyatt perked up

Wade laughed "No, he does not. Her name was Melissa. I met her once."

"I see. And where is she now?"

"She was in a car accident a year ago and passed away, that's when I found out about him."

"Wow, how did they know he was yours?"

"She had it written down. It was shocking but simple."

"Daddy, more peas." He asked handing Wade his cup. Wade twisted the top off and filled his cup with apple juice which caused Wyatt to let out a roar of laughter.

"You have apple juice in the bar gun?" Jesse laughed

"Yeah, he loves it and I had a free button."

"My little brother is a Dad." Jesse shook his head "I was not expecting that when I came home. I can't help but notice he is dressed just like you."

"Yeah, that is not my doing." Wade laughed

"Whose?"

"Zoe." He laughed

"Woey" Wyatt said again "Esse" he looked at Jesse

"Hi nephew." He held his hand out to Wyatt and he slapped him five. "How long you and Zoe been together?"

"This time? Almost a year."

"This time?"

"Long story. So what brings you back here?"

"Figured it was time, you own this place yet?" Jesse looked around the bar.

"Actually yes, it's all mine."

"Wait seriously?"

"Yeah, for over a year now."

"Wow congrats, knew you would one day."

"Thanks." Wade smirked

"Oh I'm engaged." Jesse said

Wade smiled "Oh are you? Did you just remember?

"No, well yeah a little bit. The kid threw me off."

"Yeah he does that. So who's my future sister in law?"

"Her name is Julie, she's a teacher." Jesse pulled out his phone and showed Wade a picture.

"Very nice, how'd you meet."

"We were set up by a coworker of mine Rob and her sister."

"Kinsella's are growing up."

"Well I'd say you have me beat. I don't have a kid."

"Woey" Wyatt yelled and went to jump off the bar, luckily Jesse caught him.

"Oh my gosh." Zoe panicked "This is why I don't want him up there. He's going to crack his head open." She yelled at Wade and then looked at who actually caught Wyatt. "Jesse, hi." She smiled

"Hi Zoe, how are you?"

"A little stressed now but good."

"Doc" Wyatt screamed from Jesse's arms reaching for her

"Ok" she yelled back and took him from her "No sitting on the bar."

"Daddy" he said

"Yeah well Daddy doesn't care if you fall."

"So he does have a mother." Jesse joked

"Yeah" Wade chuckled "Relax yourself." He told Zoe

She rolled her eyes at Wade and turned back to Jesse. "So Jess, when did you get back to town?"

"This afternoon, came right here, saw this child sitting here alone. Thought I stepped back in time 30 years." He chuckled

"He was alone?" Zoe glared at Wade

"Chester was right there." Wade replied "Jess is engaged."

"Oh congratulations. She is a lucky girl. When is the big day?"

"Not sure yet. We've been engaged for a little over a month, she's planned a few things but no date is set. How's Dad?" he asked worriedly

"Dad is great. Right Wyatt. Where's Paw Paw?"

"Paw Paw house." He smiled "I go?"

"Maybe later with Uncle Jesse."

"Uncle Esse." He pointed to Jesse and looked at Zoe

"Yes that is Uncle Jesse." She smiled. "Has he eaten?"

"I think you mean has he stopped eating?" Wade laughed "Also, the next pair of shoes, were going back to velcro, I've tied his laces 20 times today."

"It's called a double knot, use it." She teased and turned back to Jesse who was quite amused with the bickering in front of him. "How long are you here for?"

"I wasn't sure. Figured I would see how the first day went and take it from there."

"Well now you need to get to know your nephew so I hope you're sticking around." She smiled at him

"Yeah, I was not expecting that at all. He's cute."

"Spend some time with him." Wade joked

"So I guess I'll go see Pop, you don't want to come do you?"

"Yeah I'll come. Babe?" Wade asked Zoe

"I think I'll let you have this family moment alone."

"No, please come. I was thinking maybe we could all go out to eat after. I would love if you came." Jesse smiled at her.

"Julie is here too isn't she?" Wade asked

"Uh yeah, how'd you guess?"

"I know my brother." Wade shrugged

"I guess you do. So, please, join us?" he asked Zoe.

"I would love too. You have enough stuff for him in his bag?" she asked Wade

"Yeah, it's full. Let's go. Wanda I'm heading out for the night. Logan is coming in an about a half hour."

"Ok, have a good night. Bye Wyatt." She waved

"Bye Wanna." He waved back

They all walked to Earls and once Wyatt realized where he was going, he got really excited and ran the rest of the way.

"Paw Paw" he banged on the door

"Who's there?" Earl asked coming to the door

"Wyatt" he laughed

"Where are your parents?" he asked without opening the door

"Open" he demanded

"Ah, what do you say?"

"Peas." He smiled up at his grandpa

"That's my boy." Earl opened it and scooped Wyatt up

"Hey Pop" Wade waved

"Son, both of ya." He said shocked to see Jesse "Jesse, it's great to see you. It's been too long." He pulled his son in for a hug. "I see you met your nephew."

"I have, that was a shock. You look great Dad."

"Yeah, but he's the best thing that has ever happened to this family. Brought so many people together." He looked between Zoe and Wade. "Come inside." He turned around and led everyone in. "Would anyone like a drink?" he walked to the fridge and took out a juice box for Wyatt and some soda. "Here Bud." He handed over the juice. They all got settled and sat around in the living room. "So Jess, what brings you home?"

"I finally gained up enough courage to come back after the debacle last time. I should have came back earlier but work and other stuff got in the way. I'm sorry."

"Other stuff?" Wade teased his brother

"Shut up, I was getting there. Dad, uh I'm engaged." Jesse said hesitantly

"You are? To who? Congrats son."

Jesse smiled "Thank you, her name is Julie, she's a 1st grade teacher in Pensacola. I'll be moving down there by the end of the month."

"You'll be an hour away?" Earl asked with a smile

"I will be, I have a job all set up and everything."

"That's great, we'll finally know where you are all the time. I hope we'll meet your fiancé."

"She's actually at the hotel right now. I wanted to see how just me went before bringing her into it."

"Well go get her, what did you think was going to happen?" Earl asked

"I wasn't sure, especially after last time but that little guy seemed to soften up Wade." He joked looking at Wyatt.

"Very funny." Wade laughed "What do you have?" he asked looking at Wyatt who had something in his mouth.

"Rock." He said and showed Wade

"Where did you get a rock?"

"Out there." He pointed to the door

"Give it to me."

"No, my rock." He pulled it towards himself

"Wyatt Dylan Kinsella, give me that rock, now."

"No." he got up and ran behind the couch and laughed

"Dylan?" Jesse asked

"It's his middle name, it was his Mothers last name, and his before he got here." Zoe explained

Wade jumped up from the couch and chased after Wyatt. Once he heard Wade coming he ran and hid behind Zoe's chair.

"No way, she's not going to let you get away with this."

"Mama"

"No, give it to me." Zoe said and held her hand out for the rock.

Wyatt growled but put the rock in her hand. "Ok."

"Ridiculous." Wade sighed

"Go say sorry to Daddy." Zoe told him

Wyatt walked up to Wade and put his hand on Wade's knee "Sorry Daddy."

"Alright, but you need to listen."

"I listen." He nodded and put his hands up towards Wade. He picked him up and sat him on his lap.

"That's amazing." Jesse shook his head watching Wade

"Isn't it?" Earl asked proudly "Now you've seen your brother and his family. Where is the second half of yours?"

"I'll call her. Then I would really like if we all went to dinner."

"That would be really nice. I can't wait to meet her."

Jesse called up Julie and then went to pick her up at the hotel. Meanwhile Earl, Wade, Zoe and Wyatt climbed into Zoe's car and headed up to the restaurant in Fairhope.

"You think she's nice?" Earl asked

"She's a 1st grade teacher, I sure hope she is." Wade laughed "Please behave yourself." He told Wyatt

"You look nervous Earl." Zoe smiled

"Well I don't know what he's told her about me." He answered truthfully "and would you call me Dad already?"

"Pop, whatever he told her, it's not true, not anymore. I'm sure he's filling her in on everything he's missed."

Earl nodded. "I'm happy you're not fighting with him."

"It's no use, if he wants to make an effort to come back, I'll make the effort to let him in. Family is important and I want this little guy to have all the family he can."

"I'm so proud of you." Zoe kissed his cheek "Up, here we go." She pointed to the door.

Jesse spotted his family and walked towards them. "Hey guys, this is Julie. Julie, this is my dad, Earl, brother Wade, his son Wyatt and his girlfriend Zoe."

"It's so nice to meet you all, I've heard a lot about you. Even more in the last 15 minutes." She smiled "Oh my gosh, I love your shoes, where did you get those?" she asked Zoe

"Thank you, they're from Saks."

"Oh boy, well they'll get along perfectly." Wade laughed slapping his brother on the back. "She's sweet."

"Thanks." He smiled "I like her."

"Well that's good."

"Hi Uncle Esse." Wyatt waved

"Hi Buddy." Jesse picked him up "Can you say Hi to Julie?"

"Hi Ulie." He waved

"Aww he's so cute. Hi Wyatt."

"Shall we sit?" Wade asked

They all sat down and it was silent for a minute or two.

"So Julie, Jesse tell ya all about his messed up family?" Wade asked with a smirk

"Wade" Zoe yelled slapping him on the arm

"Way to make the dinner awkward Bro. But to answer your question, yes she knows everything. The car ride here got her all caught up on what I missed though."

"Well good." Wade laughed

"I'll apologize now for anything else he might say for the rest of your lives." Zoe joked

Julie laughed "Alright.

The rest of the night was filled with stories and laughter, filling Julie and Zoe in on stories of Wade and Jesse's childhood. Julie and Zoe traded shopping tips and Wyatt was the center of attention. The five had a great night and Earl loved watching his boys finally get along after all these years.
