Wrote the beginning of this sometime last year and forgot about it. Finished it tonight and kind of forgot how to write everyone. Oh well, it's done. Now onto the next.

Chapter 5

Goemon got out of the taxi that had parked in front of his house, starting towards the front door as the cab drove off. Hearing a familiar voice Goemon hurried to the side of the house and pressed up against it.

"Man," a woman said. "I just don't see how you put up with that boy."

"It's hard," Mika, Goemon's aunt, said as she followed the woman to her car. "I mean, I practically saved his life. And this is how I'm getting repaid."

"You are a strong woman. And you should be proud of that."

"I am proud," Mika nodded before getting into the car.

Goemon heard the car doors shut and waited until it drove off. When it did he relaxed and left his hiding spot. He then groaned when he saw Tatsuo walking down the sidewalk.

"Was that Mika that just left?" Tatsuo wondered.

Goemon glared at him. "Yeah, why?"

"Tch, man, so cranky. Not gettin' enough sleep or somethin'?"

"You told Mister Yetarian I had the bike?" Goemon growled.

"Yeah, well, he likes you," Tatsuo said as he backed away. "I figured he'd go easy on you, you know. If he knew I took it, he'd probably send his nephew out to break my ankles or somethin'."

"Well, he doesn't like me anymore," Goemon muttered.

"Have a fallin' out?" Tatsuo laughed. "But, hey, you busy?"

"Not really, no."

"Good. You can come with me on a job, then."

Goemon sighed. "I told you I don't do that anymore."

"It's simple. No drugs or shootin' or dyin'. I promise."

"Fine. What's the job?"

"We're just gonna kidnap someone."

"Kidnapping?" Goemon was not happy and started to turn and walk into his house when Tatsuo grabbed his arm and stopped him.

"Look, it's an easy job, man. And it pays a lot. And there's no gang style shit or anything. We're just gonna pretend a little."

Goemon stared at the pleading look Tatsuo gave him and gave in. "I'll help you out this one time. No more, though. You want help in the future, you can run back to the old gang."

"Thanks man. I appreciate this. I really do."

Goemon stared at his friend and gave a slight nod. "So, who are we kidnapping?"

"Some dumbass named D."

"D?"

"Yeah. He's some OG fool from Ballas," Tatsuo said, referring to a large black gang that controlled the city of Davis.

"Ballas?" Goemon groaned.

"It's easy, man. The guy's a nobody. Come on. I'll even let the ol' grandma drive," Tatsuo teased as he tossed Goemon the keys.

Goemon took the keys and walked towards Tatsuo's car.

"We're goin' up Vinewood," Tatsuo said before the two entered the car.

Goemon put the keys in the ignition and started the engine, driving off. "So, have you heard anything from Tamiko?" he asked hesitantly.

Tatsuo looked at him and laughed. "Not lately. Why? You wanna hook up with her again?"

Goemon shot him a glare.

"Look, man," Tatsuo said with a sigh. "It ain't gonna happen. You know how she feels about gangs and shit. The last thing she wants to do is get back together with a gang member."

"I'm not in the gang anymore," Goemon said in annoyance.

"You know that whether or not you're involved, you're still part of the Dragons. Stop foolin' yourself, man."

"I know, but..." Goemon stared off. "I met this guy today. He's crazy, but he's good. He might be able to help us."

"I'm all the help you need, Goemon. We don't need some stranger comin' in and tellin' us what to do."

"I just thought we could go another direction. The Dragons never had our backs and they never trusted us. But, this guy, he's different."

"No, they never had your back. And listen, this job is worth forty thousand, man. And I included you in on it. That has to be worth somethin'."

"And do the Dragons know you're starting up another war with the Ballas? Is that really worth forty thousand dollars?"

Tatsuo set his head back against the seat and groaned. "And this is why the Dragons never trusted you. You were too cautious. You thought too much, man. And we like just goin' in and shootin' shit up and gettin' rich." He sighed and looked over at Goemon. "We'll be wearing disguises, okay? He'll never know we're from the dragons."

Goemon glanced over as Tatsuo held up two red bandanas. "Yes, two Japanese men wearing the Dragons colors will never alarm them."

"It was all I had," Tatsuo said with a shrug. "Besides, D is an idiot. He won't know."

"If you say so," Goemon said with a long sigh.

"Oh, hey, he should be up here, in that alley."

Goemon steered the car into the alley and parked. He took a bandana and tied it around his neck, pulling it up over his nose so the bottom half of his face was covered. He looked over at Tatsuo, whose face was also half covered, and nodded.

D was a large black man who was busy talking to a prostitute. Seeing motion out of the corner of his eye, he looked up.

"Hey, what's up, D?" Tatsuo said as Goemon trailed behind him.

The prostitute, wanting nothing to do with any of what was going on, turned and left.

"Hey, wait up, baby. Where you goin'?" D hollered at her. He then looked over at Tatsuo. "Tch, you punk-ass bitch ruined everything."

"Fuck you, bitch-ass wannabe," Tatsuo said before pulling out a pistol.

Goemon groaned and prepared for another shoot-out.

"Tch, fuck this, man," D said as he started towards his bike, jumping on it and starting the engine. "I'm outta here!"

"Shit," Tatsuo said as he dove out of the way of D's bike. "Come on, man! He's gettin' away! Get back in the car!"

Goemon ran after Tatsuo towards the car, jumping into the drivers seat and speeding off after the man.

"He went right," Tatsuo yelled, pointing towards the next street up.

"I can see where he went," Goemon said. "And what about this job being easy with no "shootin'" or "killin'", huh?"

"It was just for effect, man," Tatsuo said as he kept his eyes on the bike.

The two watched as D sped across an intersection right as a bus started in front of him, D slamming up against the bus and crashing.

"Ooh, that was awesome," Tatsuo said happily. "Aw shit, he's runnin'?" he said in disbelief as D got to his feet and ran off towards the rail yard.

Goemon pulled the car to the curb and got out. "You coming?" he asked, Tatsuo sitting in the car.

"In a sec," he answered.

Goemon shook his head and started to run off after D.

D ran through an open gate and into the train yard, two sets of trains sitting empty on the tracks while one was coming in slowly.

Goemon continued after him, watching as D ran in front of the slow moving train, which was soon blocking Goemon's view.

Goemon spotted one of the cars with both doors open, making a clear pass through to the other side of the tracks. He ran and hopped into the car, running through it before hopping off. He smirked as he spotted D scrambling in one of the abandoned cars.

"I know you're there," Goemon hollered as he approached the car. "No use in hi-" His words were cut off by a fist coming at him and hitting him in the face.

D jumped from the car and started to take off. "Oh shit," he cried as a car sped towards him, the vehicle slamming into his body shortly after. D was flung onto the hood before tumbling to the ground, where he laid in a daze.

Tatsuo grinned as he stepped out of the car. "Doesn't look like you're goin' too far, asshole."

D groaned in pain as he slowly rose to his feet.

Goemon rubbed his face and walked towards D.

"Aw man," D moaned as he held his side. "I ain't got no beef with the Dragons, man. Shit."

Tatsuo shrugged. "Maybe 'cause this ain't got nothin' to do with the Dragons."

D looked over at Tatsuo and stared at him. "Aw shit, is that you, Tatsuo?"

Tatsuo glared at D, who started to laugh at him. "Just get in the damn car."

"Little Tatsuo going out on his own," D laughed.

Goemon groaned, the job suddenly something he wanted nothing to do with.

D continued to laugh as he got into the back seat of the car. "So, what is this? You owe some pimp or something?"

"Dude, shut the fuck up," Tatsuo said while glaring at D. "Let's get outta here," he said as Goemon sat in the drivers seat.

D grinned and leaned towards the front of the car. "Hey, Goemon, what's up, asshole? I thought you left the gang."

"Shut up, man," Tatsuo yelled. "You don't know us, okay?"

D sat back and laughed.

Tatsuo glanced over at Goemon. "Let's stash him at my place. And since he seems to know too much, when we get the ransom money we can kill him. Dump his body in the ocean or somethin'."

"You ain't gonna get shit, man," D laughed. "Feds'll be on your ass before you can get to your place."

Tatsuo glared back at D and then pulled out his phone. He dialed a number and waited. "Hey, we got your boy," he said to the person on the other line. "Forty thousand and you can have him back. If not, we're shootin' the bitch."

Goemon glared over at Tatsuo. "I cannot believe you just did that."

Tatsuo hung up and looked over at Goemon in confusion. "Did what?"

"They're going to trace the call, you idiot. You pretty much just told them where we are."

D sat back and laughed. "The moron Tatsuo. Never gonna change."

Goemon pulled the car over and looked back at D. "Get out."

"Dude," Tatsuo protested. "What're you doin'? That's forty Gs, man!"

"See you around, bitches," D said as he left the car.

"And give me that," Goemon said, snatching Tatsuo's phone from his hands and tossing it out the window into the street.

"Dude! That was a good phone!"

Goemon responded with a glare. He stepped on the gas and drove off, slowing down when he got to a nearby recreation center. He pulled into the lot and parked.

"Man, I can't believe you let that asshole go," Tatsuo said.

"You should worry more about the Ballas and the cops coming after you."

Tatsuo scoffed. "I ain't scared of them. I'm a Dragon. We all look out for each other."

"After they find out what you've done? I doubt it." Goemon opened the door and stepped out of the car.

"Tch, whatever, man." Tatsuo got out and sat in the drivers seat.

"Be careful out there," Goemon said before he started to walk off.

Tatsuo rolled his eyes. He stepped on the gas and sped out of the lot.

In the game Franklin is a part of the Families gang, who are rivals of the Ballas gang. To not have to change the whole Families gang into an Asian gang I created the Dragons gang since my mind couldn't come up with a more creative and unique name. As for the Ballas territory, I have no idea what the city of Davis is or how big it is. Also, Tatsuo doesn't have a dog like Lamar does, so there was no awesome rottweiler there to help chase down D.
