Noon on Saturday arrived...

"What will you have today?"

"A chocolate milk shake, an apple pie, a cherry pie, a hot fudge sundae, a cheese Danish and a large fry," responded the teen with emerald eyes.

The cashier gave the adult with the teen a questioning look. The man just gave a slight nod, then ordered his own, more digestible meal, and only two sweets, a vanilla milk shake and an apple pie.

Snape placed a vial on the table. "Drink that first."

"What's it for?"

"Your next lesson will be on deductive reasoning. I refuse to answer questions with obvious answers."

"Like why is Professor Lupin always ill every fourth week?"

Snape raised a brow in surprise. "That's a start. Though I doubt you've yet to conclude why..."

The End

I hope you enjoyed the story. Sorry to leave you on a cliffhanger, but how else I'm supposed to get you to return for the third segment? :)

Please review and look for the next story in this series, Deductive Thought. It is complete. Though I've already started to write a little of the story that follows Deductive Thought it will likely be awhile before I'll be ready to post. Here are something's you may enjoy reading in the meanwhile.

Harry Potter and the Battle of Wills By Jocelyn

As you can probably tell by my writing, I like fast paced stories with lots of action. I rarely read Fanfiction stories that are hundreds of thousands of words long because most of the ones I've tried were so packed with useless words that there was hardly any story to them. Harry Potter and the Battle of Wills by Jocelyn is a long story I plan on reading again soon. It is very dark and violent and is incredibly well written with plots that extend over multiple chapters and twist you don't see coming. At its base are our two favorite characters at times cooperating and at others in conflict with each other. It is long, but worth the time it takes to read it.
