Aye, first authors note of the new story. I literally am only telling you that I write all of my fanfictions school, so that's why updates are so drawn out (:

Danny flew through the sky, the crown visible in his snow white hair. He let the wind blow past which soothed him. He took a deep breath, not noticing the ghosts flying around yelling about how the Ghost Zone was saved.

"Hey ghost kid." A familiar voice yelled. Danny groaned.

"Valerie, I'm not in the mood." Danny said. He tried to fly faster than he already was.

"No, you just-is that a crown?" Valerie stopped midair. Danny rolled his eyes. "Yes Val." He snapped. Valerie blinked. Danny sighed as his hand came up to pinch the bridge of his nose.

"Look, Valerie, I've had a really long day. I'm not in the mood at the moment. I'm trying to clear my-"

"Your Highness!" What sounded like a crowd of ghosts said.

"-head." Danny finished, grumbling. Valerie blinked before flying backwards slightly. "...I'll-I'll some how keep them away. Or, you know, you could just order them away." Valerie finally muttered, before flying towards the crowd of ghosts. "Alright, get outta my town!" Valerie shrieked before blasting them. Danny winced.

"I hope there aren't approval ratings as a king." Danny joked to himself, chuckling slightly at himself before groaning and flying towards the Nasty Burger.

"Hey Danny." Sam whispered as he transformed. "Hey Sam…" Danny mumbled. Sam bit her lip and rubbed his shoulders. "You okay?" She said quietly.

"I don't know." Danny sighed honestly. "This isn't exactly my favorite career choice."

"I could understand why. Have you seen the swarms of ghosts that are looking for you? Tucker is furious they crowned a king that 'has the nerve to go against you'." Sam smirked. "I'm gonna have to tell them soon…" Danny said, adding another problem to his list of problems.

Sam sighed. "Don't let it bother you. I'm sure everything will-"

"Breaking News: Mayor Vlad Masters calls the new King of the Ghost Zone to a press conference.

'I believe the citizens will be safer if we know who is in fact ruling a place so close to home. I cordially invite his royal highness to our quaint town of Amity Park.' Vlad Masters said with a grin.

'Mayor Masters? When will the conference be?' A reporter asked.

'I hope to have it around 7 p.m. tonight.' Vlad Masters answered. 'The sooner we know, the sooner we can know if we are safe.'"

"Like shit does he care about the towns safety." Danny hissed. Sam rubbed between his shoulders again. "You need to calm down. You have an hour till the conference. Are you gonna go?"

"Of course I'm going to go, I can already feel the Fright Nut practically vibrating with excitement. Oh yeah…" Danny trailed off with a blush.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Sam asked, suspicious.

"Apparently, usually, w-when, uh, the, uh, king is crowned...uhhh a q-q-queen is usually with him." Danny stuttered out.

"...and?" Sam asked, butterflies fluttering to life in the bottom of her stomach.

"...Will you be my queen? I mean, yeah." Danny blushed, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment. "I would love to be queen, Danny. Thank you for asking." Sam smiled, kissing his cheek gently.

"Lovebirds!" A random jock douchebag yelled at the couple. "I'll be in the crowd at the press conference. Look at me and you'll be fine." Sam smiled gently, before getting up and walking away. Instead of flying, he decided to walk home to clear his head. "Hey Danny-boy!" He heard his dad beep at him.

"You guys headed to the conference?" Danny asked weakly. Jack grinned. "Yeah! Hop in."

"Yeah, I'll pass." Danny mumbled.

"Danny you really should come, to see who we are dealing with." Jazz hissed. Danny shrugged.

"Trust me Jazz, there is no worries." Danny mumbled back before continuing down the road. Jack frowned at his wife, before shrugging and driving towards the square.

Danny jogged around the corner before transforming quietly, peering around the trashcan.

"Why are we hiding, my liege?" A voice whispered right next to his ear.

"GAH! Fright Knight!" Danny screamed, hissing the spectors name. The Fright Knight cowered slightly before standing straighter. "Sorry, your majesty." He apologized before nodding.

"I thought I'd be near when you go on stage just in case things get a bit crazy." The Fright Knight told him as Danny facepalmed. "Okay...maybe you should introduce me too...just so Vlad knows I'm the real deal?" Danny questioned more than stated.

"Yes sir." The Fright Knight bowed. "When Vlad goes to the front to announce, you go backstage, I'll be following invisibly." The Fright Knight took this as a command and nodded excitedly as he prepared to introduce his king. Danny went invisibly into the crowd and checked out who was there. Tucker was scowling at Sam as she explained something, while Jazz was watching her father worriedly as he talked to Vlad. Danny sighed as Vlad smirked at his mother, walking towards the steps in front of the podium.

"Hello, citizens of Amity Park. As your mayor, who is always concerned with your safety, I have decided to call forward the King of the Ghost Zone. It is always good to know who is ruling a kingdom filled with enemies of our quiet town. Hopefully, this ruler, is able to get a firm grasp on the vigilantes of the Ghost Zone." Vlad smirked, before walking off the stage. The Fright Knight walked out, much to Jazz and Tucker's horror. Danny flew backstage and watched as Knight introduced the new king.

"I remember you! You tried to harm our town with your crazy old ghost king!" Jack Fenton bellowed, hopping on stage and getting out his ecto-gun. Danny froze before taking action. Danny summoned a line of ice to freeze the gun in place. "...Uh...nevermind." Jack shrugged before jumping back off stage. The Fright Knight gulped and looked to Danny. Danny sighed and nodded.

"Okay, you came here for the Ghost King, not me." Knight said, before flying off into the sky and going invisible. Danny knew he was still there.

A voice next to his ear whispered, "Thats your queue, my lord."

"Got it." Danny snapped. He took a deep breath and made the ice disappear, the gun falling to the ground. Danny took one last hopeful glance to Sam, who didn't see him, before stepping out onto the stage.

The responses were...not as horrifying as expected. Everyone was shocked, especially the Fentons whose eyes were as big as their heads.

"Uh...hi?" Danny questioned more than asked. "...so...I got crowded, unexpectedly, today. I, uh, went into the Ghost Zone to see why no one had attacked lately. Not that I was, uh, mad about it. I was happy for the break. One of my close-uh, I mean-I thought that maybe they were planning something bigger than I had originally thought. I was informed by some of my former, albeit confused, enemies that I was King. I went to my ally Clockwork, and he told me that I was the king. I was crowned minutes later." Danny said, more word vomit than a speech.

All of a sudden, all hands were up.

"Do you even want this responsibility?" One reporter screamed.

"Are you going to gain control of the obvious murderous ghosts that plague Amity?" Another yelled.

More questions came like bullets and Danny didn't have any answers. Some questions were actually full of interest. Others were very judgemental. Danny felt anger growing quickly inside the pit of his stomach as more questions can. Many ghosts who had come to watch their King started cowering as he got angrier. Sam took notice of this and quickly raced to the front.

"Mrs. Fenton, they are making him angry, and I don't think we want an angry ghost King..." Sam pointed out. Maddie nodded and rushed to the podium, standing in front of the King.

"There will be no further questions today!" Maddie smiled and pushed Danny off stage.

"What the heck Mooaddie!" Danny corrected. "Honestly Phantom, I'd rather not see a ghost King angry ever again." She stated. Danny nodded, blushing sheepishly.

"...I can't say that I'm happy that you have acquired this new source of power, with the ring of rage and the crown of fire, but we could have worst kings." Maddie stated. Danny smiled brightly.

"Since we are Amity Park's resident ghost hunters, we will be doing all sorts of work with the ghost zone now, if you'll let us. You'll have more than enough time to explain to us why you did those horrible things..." Maddie added, before smiling and walking away. Danny smiled at her fleeing form before going to the Fright Knight. "Sorry, my liege, but I was too frightened to even think about coming close to you. I know you do not fully trust me." The Fright Knight bowed.

"Nah Fright Knight... I don't blame you." Danny sighed. He didn't know what had just came over him, but he knew he'd have to control his temper.

Danny put his face in his hands and groaned loudly. Not thinking about it, he punched the wall next to him, which easily gave way to his fist. Danny clutched his hand to his chest and looked around. "What am I going to do?" He whispered to himself. Danny took off into the sky and flew faster than he ever had before to calm down. He flew to the park and landed on a branch in the big tree in the middle.

Danny knew he was agitated because he saw the frost coming from where he was touching the tree. He groaned again, not liking his new status. He put his face in his hands for probably the hundredth time today, and hung upside down on the tree, watching the world behind his fingers.

"Tucker..." He heard a faint voice say. He looked to the side and saw his friends coming up the hill.

"I just-can he handle this?" Tucker asked, giving Sam a side glance. Danny watched them take a seat under the tree.

"Eventually." Sam stated, no hesitation in her voice. Tucker looked at her. "Eventually, when he gets over the first couple months of being a King, he'll be the best King to his abilities."

Danny smiled at her, still upside down. He fell a bit to the branch closer to them and watched the sky with them. "Thanks Sam." He said. Sam gasped and looked sharply to the side to his face. "Danny! You gave me a heart attack!"

"You gave me hope." Danny smiled in his upside down state and blushed. Sam blushed back before turning back to the sun, which was setting on the most stressful day of Danny's life.

Yeah, 2nd A/N of the new story. Just letting you know that there might not be an update for awhile until Spring break (maybe this weekend, but i doubt it). Finals week is coming up and I need at least a C in Chemistry...I have a 67…:D
