Found this in my notebook after a poetry unit in English. Decided to type it up and see what everyone thought. Just a warning, I suck at poetry. Oh well, hope you guys all like it.
Bracken: *drags struggling fat man on* "Say it, Schultz!"
Shultz: "Never!"
Bracken: *holds out two chocolate bars* "How 'bout now?"
Shultz: *grabs them eagerly* "Brackenfern owns NOTHING!"
Bracken: "Thank you."
The commandant calls us to formation,
Looking grim.
Says the war is over,
That they've lost and we win.
Cheers break out as we're released.
Several Generals waiting for us.
We all got promoted,
Me to a BG.
Schultz got back to his toy company,
Making the best toys in Germany.
Klink stayed in the Luftwaffe,
Much to the horror of, well, all.
The Pentagon had one last surprise
For all of us here.
As we left, they handed us a deed
For Luft Stalag 13.
The tunnels, the dark room,
Klink's quarters and the barracks.
Everything within the fences,
Now belonged to the prisoners.
Life went on pretty well.
We never got out of touch with each other.
We all met up at least once a year,
In a little town called Hammelburg.
Whew~ That's over. Was it as bad as I think it was? Probably. Oh well, please review. Thanks for reading. Just send in any prompts you guys want me to attempt. :)
