Chapter 38- Taken

This new season has me on fire and feeling some type of way. I hope everyone has been enjoying the last ride so far like I have…..smiles…Michele.

Tears filled Gemma's eyes as she looked at Jade in the most gorgeous wedding dress.

"That's the one Jade!"

It was a beautiful strapless white dress that hugged tight on her waist and hips and extended out to the most beautiful mermaid train. Jade could not get over how stunning she looked.

"I think you are right Gemma."

"I know I'm right…we will take it." She said to the shop owner.

Jade's bridesmaids gushed over how beautiful she looked. Jade smiled at all the beautiful women in her life. Kim was her maid of honor; she had two of her high school best friends and two of her college best friends. Each woman had picked out a gorgeous purple dress. Selena had somehow talk Gemma into wearing a dress and both women had picked out a beautiful blue dress. Jade could not be happier.

A couple of weeks later they had food and cake testing. Jax used his pull in town and had different catering companies come to the clubhouse for tasting.

"You have to get this cake!" Tig told Jade with a mouth full of butter cream cake.

"It is good babe." Jax said agreeing with Tig.

"Ok we will get it." Jade said feeling nauseous after all the food and cake she tasted. She was glad the club was there to help her make decisions because there was no way she could try all the food that was laid out. Jade looked and smiled at each member. They all held a special place in her heart. Jade was glad the nomads had decided to leave to other charters. She was glad they were not here to ruin her day.

Later that day Jax rushed in the house and nearly knocked Jade over rushing up to her in the hall.

"Babe look at this! Paul finish the cake toppers!" Jax was so excited.

Jade looked at the miniature cake bride and groom toppers of their likeness. She could not believe the detail. The bride was of course black with curly hair and a cute white gown on and the groom was white, with blonde hair and wore jeans, a white shirt with a Sons cut and they were sitting on a little Harley. Jax did not want the traditional toppers with a tux on the groom so he had his friend Paul who could carve just about anything make the wedding toppers.

"Jax I love it!"

"I knew you would babe." He kissed her soft lips.

Jax phone rung and while Jax answered it Jade took the cake topper from Jax and went to put it up in a safe place so she could take to the lady who was going to make their wedding cake. Jade picked up Nathan out of his playpen to feed him and cut the cartoon off Abel was watching and told him to come to the table. While sitting down the boys at the table Jax walked in the kitchen with a expression she could not really place but she knew something was wrong.

"What baby? What's wrong?" she asked walking up to him.

"That was Marks. Clay's dead."

Jade almost wanted to sigh a sigh of relief, as Clay needed to die a long time ago. Jade felt horrible feeling that way as it went against everything she learned as a social worker. Jade took Jax in her arms.

"You did it babe. You got rid of the cancer that was eating up the club." Jax hugged her back tight.

"I need to go tell mom." He whispered.

"Ok baby. I will save you a plate."

Jade watched him put on his cut and head out the door.

Jax stirred Jade awake with soft kisses on her forehead.

"Hey baby….Gemma alright?" she asked sitting up in the bed. Jax nodded his head.

"I have something to tell you about Clay," Jade scooted over so Jax can sit down beside her in bed. "Clay was feeding Tara information about the club. That's how she knew about Frankie."

"What….What for? How do you know?"

"I guess to get at me and the club. Tara told me the other night in her drunken stupor."

"Jax that is so dangerous. She could hurt you and the club. She is already unstable and hates us being together." This was not good news. Jade did not like Tara knowing sensitive information about the club, her and her family.

"I got this. I told you she will not bother this family anymore. You just worry about our wedding day." Jade smiled as he leaned over and kissed his future wife. Jax stood up and got undress.

"I think we need to start working on our little girl." He said as he crawled into bed.

Weeks later

In an effort to move the club out of guns Jax met with Galen one of the IRA council known as The Irish Kings and his crew. The Sons and The Kings had been doing business before Jax was even born.

Galen looked at Jax like he was a straight a fool. Actually, Jax was a fool. Galen could not understand how he became president. It had to only to be because of his father John.

"You are not getting out of guns Jackson….the cause needs you."

"Galen, Sons needs to move away from guns and I am trying to give you a replacement. August Marks will double if not triple your business."

"Jackson you know how The Kings feel about working with outsiders. Why would you even think about trying to get us to do business with them?"Especially after they killed Clay?"

"Clay killed Pope and there was a bounty on his head. That was Clay's ignorance for going after Pope. Marks is the best option." Jax tried to reason.

"Get one of your other charters to take over Jackson. We are not doing business with niggers."

Jax winced a little when Galen used the racial slur. Galen smiled when he saw Jax's expression.

"Oh….you think it's ok for the Kings to do business with niggers, "Galen emphasized the word nigger. "Because you are fuckin one and have a little niglet with the slut." Galen smirked.

Jax fist connected with Galen's face. Galen recovered and smiled as he licked the blood off his split lip. He took off his suit jacket and rolled up his sleeves.

"Come on son….let's settle this like men."

Jackson took off his cut and rings and handed them to Bobby.

"I am not your son."

Galen threw the first punch and Jax staggered back. Jax wiped his bleeding lip and charged after Galen. After a few blows to each other Jax gave the final punch that sent Galen to the ground. Jax stood over Galen breathing heavy with a bleeding lip, his blonde hair falling in his face.

"Be smart Galen and work with Marks."

Galen stood up from the ground and spit the blood that gathered in his mouth on Jax's white sneakers.

"Sure Jackson…..whatever you say." He told his sarcastically. Galen knew he would have to find another way to change Jax's mind. The Irish Kings would never do business with coons no matter how profitable it would be.

Wedding Day

"Mommy..you look so pretty." Abel was in awe at how pretty his mom looked. Jade bent down and picked up her son.

"Abel mommy loves you so much."

"Jade put him down before you mess up your dress." Gemma told Jade as she took Abel out of her arms. Jade blew a kiss to Abel as Gemma handed him over to Neeta.

"Is Nathan dress as well?" Jade asked Neeta as she looked at how handsome Abel was in his little tuxedo.

"Yes he is. He fell asleep in the playpen though. It's almost time Jade I'm going to go ahead and head to the church with the boys."

"Thanks Neeta."

Neeta smiled, "You look absolutely beautiful Jade. I am so happy for you and Jax."

"I love you Neeta. Thank you for everything."

Neeta walked over and kissed Jade on the cheek.

"I love you too darling. See you in a few Mrs. Teller."

Jade smiled at the sound of her future name.

Selena looked at her beautiful daughter in her wedding dress.

"I am so proud of you Jade." Tears started to flirt in her eyes.

"Mom please don't cry…you will make me cry and my makeup will be ruined."

Selena kissed Jade's forehead, "I better get to the church your dad is waiting patiently for me down stairs."

"Love you mom."

"Love you more pumpkin."

Jade looked at herself in the full length mirror. She hated to brag but she did look stunning. She loved the way she looked in her wedding dress, her flawless makeup and her natural hair coiled and pulled up in a French bun with gorgeous crystal hairpins holding it in place. She could not wait to see the look on Jax's face when she walks down the aisle. It took some convincing to Jax to have the wedding in a church and he finally caved in when her father gave Jax his thoughts on the situation. He wanted his daughter married in a church and there was no if, ands or buts about it. Jade just hope half of the guest will not burst into flames when they entered the church.

Gemma smiled at Jade as she help her put the crystal veil on her head.

"Exquisite." Gemma gleamed at Jade. They were finally ready and headed out to the limo.

Gemma lifted Jade's train, helped her into the limo and scooted in beside her. Everyone was at the church waiting for the beautiful bride.

"Are you alright sweetheart?" Gemma asked Jade as she started to look a little nervous.

Jade nodded her head yes. She could not wait to be Mrs. Jade Katherine Teller. They were finally on their way and Gemma took Jade's hands into hers.

"Jade I could not ask for a better daughter in law."

Jade's eyes began to mist. She was trying so hard not to mess up her makeup. Just before she could say anything the limo came to a screeching halt almost tossing Jade and Gemma to the other side of the limo.

"What the hell is going on?!" Gemma snapped.

The limo door unlocked and the door swung open. Two men in Obama masks were standing before them. Jade screamed as one of them reached for her. Gemma tried to swing at him but he got the best of her and put a cloth over her nose. Jade knew it was chloroform by the way Gemma went limp within seconds. The man then reached over for her and she tried to bite his fingers. The second man seeing the struggle reached in with a gun and pointed it at a unconscious Gemma's head.

"Don't make me shoot her." He told her. Jade stopped fighting. As the cloth went over her nose she tried to hold her breath as long as she could but eventually she had to breathe. The Obama mask became blurry and everything went black.

Jax walked nervously back and forth in one of the rooms in the back of the church.

"You gotta calm down brother." Opie told him putting his hand on his shoulder.

"I'm calm." Jax lied as he ran his fingers through his hair. Opie held back his laughter. Jax was a nervous wreck and he had not seen his best friend like this in a long time.

"You are a lucky man to be marrying my niece Jax." Bobby walked over and gave Jax a tight hug.

"I know Bobby…I know.."

Andre the wedding planner knocked on the door and told Jax it was time. Jax looked in the mirror one last time to make sure he was presentable for his future wife.

"You look good Jax." Opie told him as they walked out and headed to the altar.

Jax looked out at the crowd as he stood at the altar waiting for his bride. He was amazed at how diverse the crowd was. There was a lot of faces on the bride's side that he did not know and a few gave him a disapproving and shocked looks as they looked at him in jeans, a button down white shirt and his cut. He really didn't give a shit about what they thought. As he continued to look at the crowd he spotted August and a few of his associates in the crowd. Marks nodded his head to Jax in acknowledgement and Jax nodded back. He was surprised Marks showed up. He and Jade had went back and forth for awhile when she told him she wanted him at the wedding. It pissed him off to know end but it was her day and he was the one marrying her not Marks.

Jax looked over at Andre and saw him looking at his watch. Jax looked up at the clock on the wall at the church and realized it was ten after one. The wedding was supposed to start at one. Where was she? Did she change her mind? Was she caught in traffic? Jax's mind started to race a million miles a minute. Opie leaned over and whispered in his ear to calm down. Jax did not realize he had started to tap his foot in worry. He looked over at Selena and Michael and saw a worry look on their faces. Bobby felt his cell phone vibrate in his pants. He hated to answer the phone as he was one of Jax's groomsmen and it would look bad if he answered the phone on the altar but since Jade was running late he was worried and needed to see who was calling. Jax looked over at Bobby as he saw him pull out his phone and answer it in a whisper. The blood drained from Bobby's face as he looked up and met Jax's gaze.

"What?" Jax yelled when he saw Bobby's expression. The church went silent from the idle chatter when they heard Jax. Bobby handed the phone to Jax and he looked at the screen to see it was Jade.

"Babe where are you?" he asked not caring if the guest heard him.

"Jackson…..do you want to see your mom and your fiancée again?"

It was Galen. Jax breath caught in his throat as he realized Galen had Jade and Gemma. Jax looked up and found Marks. Marks knew something was wrong with Jade by the look on Jax's face. Jax did not want to alarm the guest and Jade's parents but she was in trouble. After Galen gave Jax's his demands Jax jumped off the altar and ran down the aisle. Opie and Bobby followed behind him and each member of the Sons jumped out of their seat and followed behind their president.

Marks got up from his seat and him and his crew followed behind The Sons.

"Jax!" Selena screamed as she stood up. Something had happen to her daughter. My God what was going on as she heard the sound of multiple choppers start up and drive off.
