The whole stadium was silent as they anticipated what was going to happen. The guild members could easily hear the dirt as it moved in the two brother's feet as they walked. They could her the slow but deep breaths of Jellal as he nervously walked up to his brother and the quick but relaxed breaths of Sai as he confidently got nearer.

Jellal did not want to fight Sai, but he knew that he had no choice. He was not going to let his brother win for his guild. But he did not want to win either. Jellal was even more nervous for his own life more then anything. It was a known fact that Sai hated his older brother, but even more frightening was Sakura's wrath is he let Sai win.

Sai was more then thrilled that he would be fighting Jellal. If he won, he would be able to show Sakura just how powerful he was and that he could easily be there to protect her and . He knew of his brother's dishonorable reputation and the fact that he had been saved from execution by Sakura. But he was not scared of it. No he was more thrilled of getting the chance to battle him to an "accident" if needed.

Sakura was watching the two competitors with interest as she drank some coffee. Lately she had been drinking more coffee than tea which made her sleepy. As she drank her coffee, she glanced at who was sitting next to her in his human form. Sakura could not help to be proud of her "son" and how handsome and brave he had become. To her surprise though, was staring at Sai with worry for him. Sakura had expected him to look at him with hatred or disgust for what he had done to him. Then again was never one to hold a grudge like she did.

When they finally faced each other after what had seemed like hours, Sai made the mistake of looking his brother in the eye. In his eyes he could see sadness and guilt, as well as hope and love. These things that were meant to make Sai understand him mad him even more mad.

"You have 30 minutes to defeat your opponent! GO!"

Sai quickly attacked as he got closer to his brother, "WINTER STORM!". From his magic circle came a full blizzard that was headed straight towards Jellal. Jellal used Metero to run away.

Jellal's POV

Using Meteor I am running away from that blizzard. I had accidentally touched some of the storm to notice that it burned like fire.

"I did not know that cold could burn you." I thought as Sai prepared another spell.

"Winter Dragon!" he yelled with hate. A large dragon like creature appeared made up of snow and ice. I am going to die now.

Yes you're going to die you moron. You need to start fighting now before that dragon decides to make you dinner! said a voice inside of my head.

At first I thought that I had become crazy and was starting to hear things, But the way that the voice spoke and the voice itself told me that I was not crazy.

Sakura? I thought looking to where she was sitting with Erza next to her drinking coffee.

Yes it is me Jelly, but don't look up here. Keep your eyes on the dragon. Obediently I did what I was told to do.

Why and don't call me that! I thought angrily and embarrassed as the dragon got nearer.

Why do you think? If people thought that I was helping you, you would be disqualified plus I am sure you're making Sai really mad right now by just looking at my direction Jelly.

I looked at Sai from in front of the dragon and noticed that he was looking at Sakura with longing eyes. I felt bad for him because those are the same eyes that according to my friends I look towards Erza.

Common Jelly-boy keep your mind on the game! said a voice that I quickly recognized as Gajeel.

He is right Jelly-kun common! Only one person would show me respect along with embarrassment. Meredy.

Jellal you better stop thinking of such meaningless things man before you get eaten. A usual for the smart mouthed Luxus.

Sakura where is Ultear I can't find her. Thought Meredy looking worried.

She said that she had some business to attend to. But that doesn't matter, right now we have to focus on Jelly's demise.

We want to give some support as well as get some amusement from your thoughts. Answered Luxus with a snicker coming from Sakura.

As I tried to drown out the voices of my friends out of my head and tried to focus on the battle, I just could not think of harming my brother more than I had already done. I ket on dodging using Meteor, but the dragon just seemed like it was getting faster as well.

JELLY! HURRY UP AND DEFEAT HIM! Yelled Sakura's voice inside of my head impatiently. It was so loud that I almost fell.

I can't hurt Sai.

I tried to plead with Sakura, but the anger in her voice could tell me that the lovable red Sakura was out and the black Sakura was home. Not the one who jokes with you or the one that would act childish and be there for you. No, the black Sakura was the one who felt all of the pain from her childhood as well as the loneliness in her whole life. The Sakura who did not care for anyone and whose heart had already been destroyed before it was frozen.

But you can hurt my sister time and time again even though you say that you love her. She was right about that...

Flashback

Normal POV

After days of training, all of the guild members were excited to begin the games. Jellal and Erza were admiring the sunset together in the beach. The scene could not be more romantic.

"I can't believe that there is something so beautiful." Said Erza as she stared dreamily at the sky.

Jellal was looking at her with longing eyes as her skin seemed to glow and the ocean breeze made her hair blow lightly toward her face. A light blush crept on to his face when she turned to look at him.

Meanwhile unknown to the two lovebirds, their friends had been hiding behind a bush. They where watching as they stared into each other's eye without a care in the world. Sakura was filming them with her trusty camera for her future nieces and nephews. After some time though, they were getting bored of the scene, so Luxus threw a rock at Jellal. Jellal, who had turned around to see who it had been, accidentally knocked Erza off the cliff. In haste, Jellal tried to save her only to fall as well and land on top of her

In this acward state they stayed for a few seconds. They looked at each other's eyes some more as their lips started to get nearer and nearer. Their friends heads were also stretching nearer to get a good view. As Jellal's and Erza's lips touched, did the happiness for them was felt from their friends. Well that was until Jellal pushed Erza away of course. Then all of their friends faces fell down on the floor. Hard

"I can't do this, I have a fiancée." Said Jellal as the shocked and confused Erza stood up. He then quickly turned and started to run for he had seen that Gajeel and Luxus where right now holding Sakura back as she had blood thirty eye staring straight at his soul. Luckly for him, Erza knew that he was lying.

End of flashback

I know that what I did was wrong, but she forgave me. Now I don't want to talk to you, let me talk to the other Sakura not you Sakura Tart.. I started to say her real name. The name that was Erza's and Sakura's dad last name. The one she hated.

"NEVER CALL ME BY THAT NAME!" She yelled on the top of lungs. The whole arena now stared at her as she started to calm down.

"Fine, you can forget about her completely. I had heard that Bacchuas and sister have some sort of history after all." She said with a smirk as her eyes where dark and cold. Her words hit me hard. And that is how I lost control.

Sai's POV

I, like many other people, was confused to what had just happened. Why had she just yelled that out loud. I looked at my brother, and he was staring at her with hate. Was this why he had not been fighting me? Because he was busy dicussing our battle with Sakura? 20 more minutes to go and I know that I am going to have fight harder then before.

"WINTER ARMORED TITANT!" a collousal human made of ice and snow who's skin seemed to have disapered appred in fornt of me ready to fight with my dragon. If Sakura was helping him in any way then I had to be ready for anything he threw at me.

Jellal was ready for me this time and did not run away.

"GRAND CHARIOT!" he yelled with one arm on top of his head while the other one was facng the ground. Seven beams of gold light flew down from the sky and completly destroyed my dragon and my titant. So this is his true power.

My brother waseted no time in attacking. Quickly he came up to me and started to punch and kick me. Thankfully I was able to dodge all of his attacks quickly or I would have lost.

10 minutes remainding.

His eyes were dead. They were full of hate, pain, and guilt. Like I cared. What was bothering me was the way that Sakura looked. Her smile was one of cunning and evil and the way she was sitting was of an queen who cared for no one. It remineded me of my master and how he would look every day as I trained.

In haste, I quickly grabbed my brothers hand while he was throwing a punch. In his confusion i was able to send a ray of cold toward his back which made him paralized. Or so I thought.

5 minutes left

He had sent a light ray towards my cold ray wich distroyed it. As if he could tell what spell I was about to use, he changed to Meteor again and started running around the arena in the walls. I was in the middle in the floor shotting ray's of snow, ice, cold, darkness, and death at him hoping to do some damage While he shot rays of ice wich did do damage. As a defence I called on my four winter horsemen to stand in defence.

1 minute left

Time was running out. All of my spells could not catch up to him. In a desperate attempt to win, I used my remaining supply of magic to call a winter cloud wich caused a storm god to appear. With a lighting srike he caught Jellal and froze his feet to the wall. The god sent another lightning stike..

"TIME!"

It was to late to finish him off.

Meanwhile with Erza and Sakura.

"Jellal was sloppy. But he did a good job." said Sakura as though the fight was not a big deal. just stared at her with hate for the first time in his life. He could not belive how cruel she could be when she wanted to be.

"Why did you do that! Jellal almost killed his brother!" yelled Erza as the rest of the guild members where quiet. They too were thinking what was thinking and where to afraid to say.

"He needed motivation to fight! Plus he made me mad." said Sakura in a foul way as she stood up to face her sister. She was mad already and her sister was not helping her mood.

"That dose not give you the right to do that. You basically brainwashed him! Any way what did he do that made you so mad may I know because you never tell me anything important!" yelled Erza. This fight was getting personal and loud. It was loud enough that the comitadors could hear.

"The reason I never tell you anything is because you don't need to know for your own pertection!" said Sakura as her eys stared to turn black and cold.

"That is my job as your older sister! I should be there to pertect YOU!" exclaimed Erza staring down at her sister who was two inches shorter then her.

"There are things you cannot pertect me from. Death is something you cannot fight!" yelled Sakura as she clunched the glove that covered her left arm and hand tighter as she yelled those words.

"That is not true. I will alway fight to protect my littel sister from things that may hurt her. Even if I have to face off Death it self." said Erza calmly with tears in her eyes as she tried to grab her sister into a hug. Sakura step back with tears in her eyes as well in her regular light brown eyes. She wipped a tear of her eyes before facing her sister with confidence.

"To bad that I am already dying." replied Sakura loud enough so that the how stadium could hear as she took of her glove to show a difigured arm and hand. She had scales of red, white and black. Her arm and hand looked like one of a demon.

"Oh sweetie that is nothing. You are just absorbing a deamon you must have defeted or something. Your going to be able to use deamon possesion." said Mira reasuring Erza and Sakura.

"To bad I never fight demons. This is not a possesion, this is a curse. When the rest of my body transforms, I will die." said Sakura coldly as she put her cloak and hood on and wlaked away. The whole guild was still in shock for no one had known that she was dying, not even .

"I have buisness in the castle." were the last words before she left.

"For those who did not hear. Apperently Scarlet Tiger Sakura from Fairy Tail is facing death's door."
