Hey everyone! I am really happy that you are enjoying my fanfic! Like really, really happy! Thank you everyone who posted a review! They're all very sweet!

Kate woke up when it was still dark outside. There was a quiet noise that was bothering her. A hospital should be silent, right? She could barely see some shadows created by the moonlight. What was that? A humming? Oh. No. It was Castle. Whispering to the baby. Ok, that wasn't annoying. That was sweet. Even though it was three in the morning. If he was talking to the baby, he was being really sweet.

"Hey you two" she whispered back, not knowing if Noah was awake.

Castle turned around, startled, with the baby in his arms. He rewarded her with an apologetic smile and lifted up the baby, as if saying "I couldn't help it".

"Please, tell me you didn't wake him up on purpose."

"He was crying. Well, it was more like a cute soft grumbling. I changed his diaper, but he just wanted to be with someone. He is a night guy, aren't you?"

Kate smiled. She thought she couldn't be more happy. Aw. She was wrong. Castle walked towards her and put Noah in her arms. The baby looked at her and sighed. She could swear he cuddled closer to her. Castle sat on one side of the bed and she moved to the other side so that he could lay beside her.

"What where you talking about?"

"I was telling him my top ten list"

"What top ten list?"

"My favorite moments. Lifetime favorites."

"You have a list?"

"I didn't. Until tonight. He seemed to be enjoying it"

"Can I hear it?"

"Sure. Maybe that way Noah goes back to sleep. Ok. Number ten. I think I would say the time we got stuck inside the freezer."

"Castle, we nearly died that day. Are you sure this is you're favorite moments's list?"

"Yeah. First because I got to cuddle with you..."

"Huddle" she interrupted

"...and second" he added without paying attention to her "because you almost told me you loved me then."

"I didn't" she answered.

"Yes you did, you stubborn woman. An hush. I thought this was a bed time story for my son"

"Sorry. My mistake" she found a better position, with her head on his shoulder and her legs over his. "Please continue"

"Good girl. Number nine. When we worked with the CIA or the FBI. Both times you were jealous. Really jealous. And I found that... amusing. At that time I didn't want to think that you were jealous because you wanted to be with me. I would have been devastating to grow illusions if there was no reward afterwards."

"But there was?"

"Oh, yes. Big capital letters YES. The greatest reward. Let me finish my list and you would see" he kissed her cheek still not believing that he could be so lucky "Eight place goes for my first Derrick Storm novel. Your mom liked it, you loved it and it was in some way the reason we met. Seven. The zombie case. It was so much fun. Although it disappointed me a little that at the end it wasn't about real zombies. Anyway. It's not just because of the case. It is because of what came after that. Our conversation."

"The wall that was breaking"

"Yeah. Then it was when I really thought that we were going to have a chance, you know? We could've had a great date on Alexis graduation."

"I think we had a great date after your daughter's graduation"

"Yeah, right? But I mean... You said yes. Before that guy was killed after he sneaked in Montgomery's house, you accepted to come to my house to watch a double feature. That could've been on my list. Anyway. Six. Our first kiss."

"The undercover one?" he nodded "Yes, that was... really good"

"Just really good? Beckett, that was spectacular. You made me believe it was real".

"You know it was real. We weren't prepared for a relationship. But it was real. Tell me your top five"

"I don't really know how to classify this last five. I know which moments complete the list, but not in which order. This are really amazing moments."

"Then don't sort them out, just tell them. Now I'm curious."

"Ok... chronological order then. Alexis has to be in my top five. That little baby changed my life and she has been my best friend ever since.

"I thought I was your best friend" she teased him.

"I'm sorry, babe. You are the love of my life, my love, my wife and my partner. Alexis is my best friend. Even if we don't see each other that much now... I can't imagine my life without her."

"That's fair. As long as I am your second best friend"

"Deal." Castle kissed her smile "There's when you came to my house on Alexis graduation."

"Our first night"

"Yes. I was so mad at you. So angry that you wouldn't leave the case for me. After all those years I thought that I would mean a lot more to you".

"Hey. You did. I was just..."

"I know. I know it now. But not then. At that time I wanted to be mad at you, because for me you were taking me for granted. I was so determined not to see you again... And then someone knocks at my door, and there you are. Completely soaked and terribly hot. And you wanted me. How could I've said no? I would've been the stupidest man in the world"

"I love you, Castle"

"And I love you too. Since the beginning. After that... You said yes. That has to be in my top five. When you said you would marry me. That was when I decided that it was worth the wait and the fights. You said yes, and it still amazes me."

"You were a great deal, Castle."

He chuckled at that and thew an arm over her shoulders, to get her closer if possible.

"Our wedding. It was simple and small. So not how I pictured it. But it was nice"

"It was perfect"

"I really didn't care. As long as I got you say I do, everything was going to be fine. And last, but obviously not the least, this little baby. Noah is a really big part of the list. Because he is part of us. The two of us and that makes him special."

"That was a good bedtime story. I think our little boy is asleep."

"I think so. Let me take him to the crib."

"Wait a couple more minutes. I am comfy. I like it here"

"Yes. Me too. I really like it here. With you" he whispered to his ear.

Kate kissed his neck and sighed. That night had just become part of her top ten list.
