"Maia, truth or dare."
"DARE!" she answered. I smiled because I had a good dare in mind.
"I dare you to let me mix a bunch of stuff and you have to drink it." Maia looked nervous. I could add dead bugs in the drink, and she'd have to drink it. She nodded nervously anyway though, and I got up. I started to walk into the kitchen and Jace followed me.
"Could I help?" he asked. I nodded and the two of us got to work. I added whiskey, orange juice, yogurt, and a dash of cinnamon. "Add this." Jace instructs handing me ketchup, salt, pepper, mustard, and milk. I do as told and stir.
"She is going to puke." I say while chuckling.
" I actually feel bad for her." Jace replied. Then he pulled something else from the fridge. "Can't forget the whipped cream." I laughed and went to go smell it. It smelled awful. All of a sudden, Jace was pushing the cup closer to my face trying to get me to drink it.
"Jace! No, stop it!" I giggled. "JACE!" I screamed still laughing. Isabelle came in probably wondering what the hell was going out. She burst out laughing and then left, still laughing. "JACE I SWEAR TO GOD!" That is when I noticed Jace's finger was close to my mouth. So, I decided to bite him... very hard. He cried out in pain for a second before staring at me shocked.
"Did you... You... YOU JUST BITE ME!" he said once he moved his hand away. I started laughing so hard I thought I would piss myself. Jace examined his hand and his eyes went wide. "Look at that!" he exclaimed putting his hand in my face. "You left a mark. You freaking bite me so hard I have a mark!"
"Ja...ce...Cant... Breathe!" I managed to choke out. Jace sighed, put the glass down on the counter, and then slung me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. I was still to busy laughing to protest so I just went with it. He picked the glass back up and walked out of the kitchen.
"What the hell happened in there?" Jordan asked when we returned. Jace laid me down a loveseat, where I finally calmed down, and then acted like I had just tried to commit murder.
"She tried to kill me!" Jace exaggerated showing everyone his hand. Then he handed Maia her homemade drink. She smelled it and began to gag. But it looked like she was determined to go through with the dare. She covered her nose and took a sip. She started to gag again.
"The whole thing." I told her. She gave me a look and chugged the whole thing. Then she ran to the bathroom
When Maia came back, she had a sick look on her face. "Never again. Okay, ummm Camille truth or dare."
Camille arched an eyebrow, surprised Maia had picked her. "Dare."
"I dare you to kiss the person you think is the hottest in this room, not including Jace." Camille got up gladly, and walked over to my brother Sebastian. She kissed him for a while before pulling away, giving him a seductive smile, and then strutted back to her seat.
"Maureen, truth or dare."
"Truth." she said shyly
"Are you a virgin?" Maureen nodded then looked down embarrassed. She seemed like a shy and sweet girl. It didn't seem fair Camille had embarrassed her like that. Or that she looked so pleased with herself.
"Umm, Simon truth or dare." He responded with truth yet again This caused him to have things thrown at him. I even picked up my jacket from the floor and threw it at him. "Who do you like?"
Instead of answering, Simon took his shirt off and threw it on the floor along with my jacket. As I looked back at Maureen I saw she had this dreamy look on her face. Poor girl. She was probably hoping it was her Simon liked. I think I have an idea about who he actually liked. I looked over and Isabelle was staring too. It seems I'm the only one who notices though. Isabelle looks over at me and blushes. I laugh a little, and turn back to Simon.
"Magnus, you know the question."
"Dare baby!"
"I dare you to unglitter yourself." As soon as Simon said that, Magnus looked mortified. Everybody in here knew Magnus loved his glitter. Seeing him with no glitter would be hilarious. But nobody expected him to go through with it. And of course he didn't. He took of his bright blue jacket, and was left in a bright pink shirts, bright yellow pants, and black and yellow shoes. Magnus threw the jacket on the floor, where the pile of clothes were.
"Alexander! Truth or dare." Alec looked like he was going to correct him, but decided against it. If you were to ask me, I'd tell you I think he likes when Magnus call him Alexander.
"Dare."
"I dare you too... let clary wax your legs!"
Alec didn't think it'd be that bad, so he went along with it. Isabelle gave me directions as to where her room was so I could get the waxing strips ( I hope that is what they're called ). I walk into Isabelle's bathroom and find that it was a fairly big bathroom. I found the waxing strips and told Alec to put one of his legs on top of the ledge of the bathroom.
When I pulled the first one off, he screamed like there was no tomorrow.
After a couple minutes filled with screaming, ripping, laughing ( I was laughing so hard ), and crying Alec and I go back downstairs. There was no doubt in my mind that everybody had heard his screams. As we walked back into the living room, we saw everybody laughing. Alec ignored them and walked back to his seat.
"Clary, truth or dare."
"Dare."
"I dare you to sit on Jace's lap for the rest of the game." I began to take off my bracelet but stopped. I realized that so far all my dares had something to do with Jace. And they probably all would until I did a dare that had Jace in it. And this dare wasn't even that bad. All I had to do was sit on him.
"You know what, I'm not a wimp. Besides this dare is easy." So I got up and went over to the loveseat where Jace sat alone. He was smirking, and I punched him in the arm. Then I sat down on his lap.
"Alright, Alec! Truth or dare."
"Dare."
"I dare you to ask out the person you like." Alec sighed. At this point I already knew who he liked. Surprisingly, he got up and started walking towards Magnus.
"Do you, maybe, want to go get something to eat tomorrow?"
Okay, so I kind of wrote this while watching the USA vs Germany game so I just wanted to finish the chapter up. Considering the fact that I almost broke my laptop screaming, I think this was an okay chapter. Yes, it was very short, but I just wanted to hurry up and watch the game.
Also, I'm sorry that the way Alec and Magnus are getting together is so bad. I couldn't remember how they got together in the book, so I just kind of did it like that. Of course he is going to say yes, and I have a perfect idea for their first date. Lets just say Clary and Jace will be there too, maybe with a few others.
*Help!* Okay so no one has given me any ideas for the project. Someone, please help me!
