When I walked back to the Lightwood mansion I saw that the three of them had started to clean everything up. I was surprised at first, because I had expected them to just leave it for tomorrow. Isabelle and Alec did look like walking zombies after all. I hadn't noticed how tired they actually were until now. Jace and me were the only ones who looked like actually human beings. But then I remembered that Maryse, Robert, and Max were coming back tomorrow morning. And something told me they didn't want their parents saying a mess, which included alcohol bottles everywhere.

I put my bag down on the floor and began to help. I picked up a garbage bag and began to stuff plastic cups in it. If 18 people could make this much of a mess, I'd hate to see this house after a real party. After about half an hour of cleaning in silence, I realized we had finished. Also that Alec and Isabelle had left and gone upstairs while we had been cleaning. So it was just Jace and I left in the living room.

"Thanks for helping by the way. You didn't have to, you know." Jace told me.

"It's fine. I helped make the mess after all. Besides, its the least I could do. I am staying here for the weekend."

"About that. I have a feeling Max is going to be over the moon when he finds out. I think the kid is in love." He chuckled whilst going to sit down.

I went to sit with him on the loveseat. "He is defiantly one of the cutest kids. Some of the things he says are just priceless"

"The little guy is stealing my thunder." Jace joked. I laughed along with him. I shivered and Jace rubbed my arm. That made me shivered even more and gave me goose bumps. The weird thing was that I smiled at him instead of slapping his hand away. And by the look on his face, I don't think he was doing this to make a move or anything. He actually looked like his best to stay away.

But for some reason that got me mad. Very mad. I didn't want him to keep his distance. I wanted the opposite. I leaned in and invaded his personal space. Hell, if I moved an inch I'd be sitting on his lap. He looked surprised at first, but then happy. I gave him a seductive smile and wrapped my hands around his neck. He wrapped his hands around my waist.

"CLARY! When you come up bring me a glass of water." Isabelle stuttered.

Of course she'd interrupt just as I was about to close the very tiny space between us. I awkwardly got off of Jace, and went to the kitchen to go get Isabelle her water.

I finally managed to find Isabelle's room. The last time I was here I had only been to Jace's room. So I had never even seen Isabelle's room

It was a little smaller than my rooms, so it was big. Her walls were white and she had a king sized bed. Isabelle's sheets were white and black, and were tribal print. On each side of the bed were mirrors lite with a whole bunch of lights. The bed had drapes on each end which led all the way up to the ceiling. The curtains covering the window were white and black. There was a rug lying in front of the bed which was pink. In one corner Isabelle had a white vanity and a desk. In the other was a small glass table with two pink and white erin chairs on each side. Her closet and bathroom doors were both on the right side of the room by the vanity, which was opposite of the door to come in. She had a dresser on the wall opposite of the bed. On top of the dresser was a 50 inch flat screen. Instead of off white furniture like I have, Isabelle just had plain white. Hanging on top of the bed was a pink and white picture of Marilyn Monroe. The combinations defiantly weren't something I'd choose, but were perfect for Isabelle.

She was already passed out in the middle of the bed, with her dress still on. I hit her on the arm which woke her up a bit.

"What?" she managed to mumbled. I handed her the water and she drank it. When she was finished she began to go to sleep again. "What about your clothes?" I asked her. She just shrugged her shoulders.

I sighed and went to her closet. Again it was smaller than mine, but yet still fairly big. I finally picked out a gray tank top and white hello kitty short shorts.

I was about to leave when I realized something. There were no shoes in here. How on earth was that possible? It was Isabelle for gods sake! That is when I noticed there was another door. I opened it and sure enough I found a closet the exact same size as this one filled with shoes. There was literally every color and style you could think of on all these shelves. Then I saw most of them were heels and flats. There was only about 3 pairs of sneakers. I shook my head. Out of about, and I'm not even joking, 200 pairs of shoes she only had 3 pairs of sneakers. No vans or converse. And the only reason she probably had the sneakers was because she couldn't workout in heels. I closed the door and then walked out of the closet.

I made my way over to Isabelle and began to take off her shoes. Then I stripped her of her tight red dress leaving her only in her underwear and bra. The only time she argued was when I lifted her up a bit to put on her shirt. I lifted her up again and put her underneath the covers. She smiled and snuggled into her pillow.

Then I went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. I changed into a white singlet and redish pinkish checkered pajama pants. I brushed my teeth before throwing my hair up into a topknot.

Then I climbed into bed and fell asleep

"CLARY!" Somebody screamed before I felt somebody jump on top of me. I groaned. Isabelle should not be this happy and awake in the morning. Nobody should.

I opened my eyes and looked at the time on Isabelle's iHome. 9:30! She should be hung over and sleeping right now.

"Get your lazy ass up! It is already 9:30 you've slept enough. I gave her a death glare.

"Morning person?" I asked. She nodded and I groaned whilst throwing the covers off of me. I made my way to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I took out my top knot and left my hair down.

When I got out of the bathroom Isabelle was gone. I went downstairs thinking she might of gone to eat. And sure enough there was Isabelle sitting down with the rest of the Lightwood children eating, looking all happy and cheery. I groaned yet again.

"Is everybody in this damn house a morning person?" I asked while taking a seat next to Alec. The four of them nodded with smiles on their faces, obviously knowing that would irritate me.

"The early bird catches the worm Red." Jace taunted. I glared at him, which made him smirk. And that's when I recalled what happened last night. I rubbed my face. That's why he was smirking, he was practically laughing at me. I ignored him though. I just had to pretend nothing was wrong then blame it on the alcohol. It was a good plan, but there was just one problem. I'm a terrible liar.

"Wait Clary you're staying here the whole weekend?" Max wondered. Once I told him that he started talking about all the things we could do this weekend. You see last time I was here we talked briefly about comics and things like that and he seemed so excited that I was into anime and all that stuff. But Isabelle cut off Max.

"Hold up. She is my guest. And besides we're going to the beach today. ( Lets pretend you can go to the beach in September in New York ).

I gave her a look. Number 1, I was still half asleep. Number 2, nobody had ever mentioned the beach to me.

Isabelle looked at me and said, "Oh yeah we're going to the beach today." I rolled my eyes. Then she continued. "You could come if you want Max."

Max crinkled his nose. "I don't like the beach. All the sand and salt water. No way!" I had to laugh. Max was so cute and funny without even trying. Everybody else laughed as well.

"What!" he asked. The three of us laughed even more.

"Wait Izzy I don't have a bathing suit. And there is no way any of yours will fit me." It accord to me.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Get dressed. We'll go shopping really quickly." I gave her puppy dog eyes, then looked back and forth between her and my pancakes. She gave me a look that said 'get the hell upstairs'. And I shook my head. But Isabelle was not having it.

"Alec! Max!" she yelled to her brothers. Both afraid of their sister, they ran to do as she asked. Max went for my plate, grabbing it and taking it to the kitchen to dump the pancakes. Alec got up and picked me up trying to take me to Isabelle's room.

He was failing miserably. I started kicking and screaming, and he couldn't handle it.

Isabelle shook her head. "Jace."

He stood up and effortlessly carried me to Izzy's room.

"What's the matter Red? If I had done that last night you would have been all over me." I could feel my face turning bright red. I was about to say something but he continued.

"It's okay Little Red. I know it was the alcohol talking." I was shocked. I would have expected him to make some huge deal about it. But instead he was blaming it on the alcohol as well.

"Yeah I guess I was drunker than I seemed." I explained. He nodded.

"Well you better hurry up Red, or else you'll have Isabelle to deal with." we laughed. After that Jace left me to get changed. I look through my carry on luggage and found some clothes. I changed into a monki aida singlet, keeper stone cut off dreamer shorts, and beach club sandals. I threw on a khaki two-pocket three quarter sleeves cardigan sweater over just because I had a feeling we'd be staying there late.

Inside the tiny luggage I found a bird print backpack and threw some things into it. I stuffed in two beach towel along with some other things. I put in my hair brush, deodorant, perfume, sunglasses, sunscreen, tanning lotion, a small makeup bag I use only at the beach, and a few other things. By the time I was done my bag could barely close.

I guess Izzy had already packed while I had been asleep because when I got downstairs Alec, Jace, and Izzy were there waiting for me. We all hoped in Isabelle's convertible bmw on our way to the mall.
