Alright I just want to start off by saying I know most of you probably thought I had abandoned this story. For the first to months, yes I had. I had things going on in my life I needed to deal with. But then I tried to write the story, and it wasn't letting me save it. For about the last month I've written this chapter over and over again. I had refused to write it on my phone because writing it there annoys me. So when I got a new iPad for Christmas, the next day I wrote it there to see how it would work. And luckily it seems to have worked just fine.

Also, I just wanna say that yes I was planning on having them go to the beach. But now that it is about 30 degrees outside, I'm not really I'm the mood for writing about the beach now, so I changed it up a bit.

As I predicted, Isabelle's idea of a quick trip to buy some things took two hours. The boys and I were so happy we were practically ran to the car.

When I say that the second we got to the car a huge storm started, I'm not joking. When we left the mall it was just a small drizzle. I think we all just thought it would pass. But then as we were putting the things in the car, it came down really hard.

And let me just tell you I don't know what was wrong with me, but I just found it hilarious. I burst out laughing, so much that I could barely breathe. Eventually I ended up on the floor, with people staring at the four of us like we were crazy.

This whole time Isabelle was cursing at the rain. Parents had to cover their little children's ears as they passed because of her. It was even worse when the lightning and thunder started.

It looks like Alec and Jace were in shock because they just stared at the two of us like there waslp something seriously wrong with me and Izzy. Finally after about three minutes the boys looked at each other tha The Then went to take Isabelle first. It made sense since she looked like she was about to punch the next person that looked at her strangely. Jace and Alec had trouble getting her to calm down and get in the car.

"If you don't put me down right now I swear to God I'm going to make your lives a living hell!" She threatened. Jace rolled his eyes at this.

"Oh my life is hell with you in it anyway." Alec and Jace struggled but finally managed to get Izzy in the car and buckle her in to make sure she stayed. They sighed then turned towards me. Alec hopped in the driver's seat while Jace walked towards me.

"Come on, Red. Calm down." He said while carrying me to the car. Jace threw me in the back seat me sat next to me. I stopped laughing when I realized we had already left the mall parking lot and were driving in awkward silence.

"So, no beach?" Jace asked. And then all hell broke lose in the car.

When we arrived back at the Lightwood, Isabelle locked herself in her room because she 'didn't want to be bothered by the nuisances that are her brothers any longer' as she so politely put it.

You see, after Jace said that Isabelle started screaming and cursing even worse than she had done before. This caused Alec to get into almost 5 accidents because he was trying to calm Izzy down. Jace had been trying to protect himself from Isabelle clawing at his face. Of course, I for some odd reason found the near death experience to be hysterical. So the people driving by us saw a pretty muscular guy being attached by a girl who's nails practically looked like claws, a girl who was laughing her ass off, all being driven by some guy trying to calm everybody down while trying to avoid crashing.

So I guess what I'm saying is it was a pretty crazy car ride back. One that got Izzy very mad.

"Max!" Alec shouted to his younger brother.

"He's at his friends house honey." His mom answered from the kitchen.

We all sat down on the coach and took out our phones. There was really nothing to do since it was raining, and Im pretty sure at least one of us would develop a headache if we went anywhere with loud sounds because of all the alcohol we had yesterday.

"I'm bored." Jace announced about an hour later.

"I'm hungry." I said.

"Me too actually." Alec agreed putting his phone down.

"We all got up and searched in the kitchen. Nothing.

"Oh yeah. Mom doesn't cook on weekends." Alec said stupidly.

"Let's just go out. Where you guys wanna go?" I asked.

They just shrugged their shoulders. That's when Izzy came down and grabbed a bottle of water. "Wanna go eat with us?" Jace asked her.

She turned towards me. "Clary, when you see Jace tell him I'll be waiting for his apology in my room."

"Very mature Izzy." Alec rolled his eyes.

"You want an apology from me!" Jace screamed. Isabelle ignored both of them and walked out of the kitchen. Jace shook his head and we all walked to the cars.

Alec took his car while I was stuck with Jace in his car. Alec said he might need to go somewhere after, so I should go with Jace. I don't know why but whenever we're alone together I suddelny feel all nervous and get goosebumps. It's strange, and probably only happens because I feel strange being around seems since he is such a creep. I mean there is no other possible answer.

We spent the whole car ride and speaker with Alec, luckily, trying to decided where to eat. Finally we decided to go to a place I've never tried before called Taki's.

When we went inside, the hostess was this really slutty looking girl who I've seen around.

"Hey Jace!" She said really annoyingly ignoring me and Alec. "My shift ends in about an hour. You wanna go to my place after? My parents aren't home."

I couldn't help but laugh. This girl was literally throwing herself at him, and I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if she started making out with him right there. Alec laughed too, which caused the girl to shoot us dirty looks.

Jace turned to her, obviously not interested. "Hey Kaliee. Umm, you know I think I'll pass. I just came to eat with my brother and Clary."

Thats when I realized who this girl was. She was one of the girls Will told me about at the party. One of the lost little puppies.

"So that is the new girl? I don't see what the big deal is." I felt like breaking those fake nails of hers.

"Can't we just come here and for once just get our table without anything happening?" Alec asked. Kaliee rolled her eyes at him and led us to an empty table.

Alec slide into one side while Jace slide into the other. I sat down next to Alec.

"What's the matter Little Red? The seat over here is so much better." Jace smirked.

The waiter came, and I couldn't help but stare.

"Hi, I'm Daniel Roberts and I'll be your waiter today." He stopped for a second when he saw me. I have to admit, he was gorgeous. I mean like Jace gorgeous. He had honey colored skin and dark brown eyes. He was muscular and again, gorgeous. I smiled at him flirtatiously.

"And what's your name?" He asked me.

"I'm Clary. Hey, are you related to Maia Roberts? She's one of my friends."

"Umm yeah. She is my cousin. Maia never told me she had such a hot friend." I couldn't help but blush.

"She never told me she had such a hot cousin."

Jace groaned and pretend to throw up. "Are you gonna order our drinks or what?"

"What do you want?" He asked annoyed. Jace could do that to people.

"A coke."

"I'll have a sprite." Alec told him.

I smiled at him again. "Hey, do you think you could sneak me a corona?" I asked while putting my hand on his muscles.

"It depends. Think you can give me your number?" I took the pen and notepad from his hand and happily scribbled down my number. With that he flashed me a smile, and began to walk away.

"Wait, wait, wait! Forget about the sprite. I have to go pick up Max." He pushed me out of the booth and with that left. I sat back down and then realized something.

I was left alone with Jace Lightwood.
