Chapter 3: Sakaki Manor
I do not own any of the characters except for Terra
Terra led Gary and Ash to the North-Western part of the city that was the suburban part of the city. The three of them had to walk across five city length blocks until they reached the fenced gate. After entering the gate's pin code. The gates slowly opened as Gary and Ash looked in awe and amazement. It revealed the long drive way that they were going to have to walk. The three of them reached the main entrance within ten minutes of walking.
After unlocking the door Terra pushed the huge oak doors to open up to an empty entrance way. The trio hung their coats in the coat closet and began to look around. The personality of the house would remind someone of a palace, living in the life of luxury, and the home to very powerful people. Legendary and powerful Pokémon were carved into the moldings of the ceiling and pillars. The walls and floor gave a clean impression of earthy tones.
"This manor has been in my family for many generations. When my grandfather married my grandmother they renovated the place. It belongs to my father and one day it will all be mine." Terra could tell that Gary and Ash were both stunned by the beauty of the place. However, Terra looked disappointed at the two boys. She explained that she could tell that her father was not home due to the lack of noise and Pokémon.
Suddenly a noise came from the kitchen. The three of them looked towards it and wondered what was happening there. Each of them crept towards the kitchen till Terra slowly opened the door. Then she was shoved onto the floor but instead of screaming in terror she was laughing and crying. Gary and Ash both pulled out their pokéballs ready to battle the group of Pokémon that had in their point of view attacked Terra.
"Ash…Gary….calm down… these are my… pet Pokémon. Ok guys you need to stop…I love you too but let me get up", Terra explained though all of the laughter that they were forcing her to do. The two boys put away their Pokéballs and helped Terra get up from the floor.
"Wow…all of these belong to you?" Gary and Ash stated together. They were admiring the variety of beautiful Pokémon that stood before them. Terra stated that her father gave them to her as pets when she was five years old to deal with the fact that he was always going away on business trips. Suddenly, Terra started to panic when she noticed one particular pokemon was missing and shouted for Denari. "Who's Denari, Terra?" She grabbed a hold of Gary shirt and stated that it was a Meowth that her father gave her at the same time as the others but it was extra special because its mom was her Dad's Persian.
Terra began to break down into even more tears while Gary was trying to figure out some way of comforting her. Ash stood by the doorway when suddenly a butler and a maid rushed passed him and pushed Gary to the side. They started comforting Terra.
"Miss… you're back! We were just looking for you're little Denari again. He has been missing ever since you left for your journey. The two of us have been searching endlessly for him. Please do not mention a word of this to your father." The maid and butler were both on their knees pleading with Terra about keeping her father out the dark.
"Yeah…no problem as long he is found before my Dad comes back. This is Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum. Ash…Gary these two are Serafina and Serafrim. They are my Dad's servants." The two servants got up and bowed and curtsied to them, then left to continue their search for little Denari. Terra walked over to the fridge and pulled out Pokémon snacks for the pets and then snacks for the three of them.
All three of them sat at the dining room's table when Gary decided to speak up. "So Terra what does your Dad do exactly? Also why is the Gym Leader gone for long periods of time? Doesn't the city get upset by that?" Terra finished her bite and replied "My Dad is the owner and CEO of a business company. I do not know exactly what the company does. See this, holding up the red 'R' necklace for the two of them to see it, it's the company logo. As for the Gym Leader, he does research when he is not here. The town accepts that because his research is highly important because there is no other expert in his field, which is Ground Pokémon. Other than that he is a very secretive guy." Ash and Gary both looked at each other as if they were having a private conversation between the two of them.
"Uh…look at the time…I have to get back to the center it's almost curfew." Ash stated in a panic manor while grabbing his things. Terra offered to Gary that they spend the night at the Manor which he accepted. Terra told the pet Pokémon that she would be leaving them there.
After Gary went to bed, Terra found herself wondering around the halls until she bumped into Serafina. She had told Terra to checked the family room that her father and she spent time together in. He left a surprise for her. It was a Pokéball on the table. There was a note on the table signed from Terra's father stating that the ball contained a Tauros. Terra smiled and decided to call it Tory the Kid. So she now had Bam-Bam, Flora, and her new Pokémon…Tory the Kid.
