Chapter 6: Mt. Moon Part 2
I don't own anyone but Terra
After three days, Gary and Terra were half way down the passage way when they ran into two Team Rocket grunts.
"All right kids. Handover your Pokémon or else…" The two burly men stated that while glaring at Gary and Terra. The Team Rocket grunts both had their pokéballs ready to throw if necessary.
"No you creeps, you cannot have our Pokémon! Go Bam-Bam and Shellshocker! Attack!" Gary and Terra stated together. The two grunts looked at Bam-Bam for a minute and saw the blue ribbon around its neck. Shellshocker also showed that it was ready to fight. The two grunts sent out zubats.
"Bam-Bam use mega punch…Shellshocker use water gun!" The Team Rocket grunts told their zubats to use supersonic. Both of the Pokémon were able to avoid the attacks and delivered theirs at full power.
"Zubats use leech life. Restore your health." The two grunts directed their Pokémon to do. The first zubat hit Shellshocker with a mighty force. The second zubat's leech life hit Bam-Bam, but it only did half the damage. After shaking off the shock of the attacks hitting them the Pokémon, followed Terra and Gary's commands.
Shellshocker delivered a bite attack while Bam-Bam used bonemerang on the pair of zubats. Shellshocker was able to knock out the first zubat with the bite attack. The second zubat was close to being knocked out. One more move was going to do the trick.
The grunt then shouted for the zubat to use gust. The gust was creating a powerful whirlwind within the tunnel. It was making everyone having difficulty hearing their partner. Suddenly, Terra's gold necklace with the ruby 'R' was blowing in the wind. The two grunts saw the necklace and panic appeared on their face. The two grunts had a private chit chat between the two of them.
Grunt 1: "Oh my God! What is that blowing in the wind?" Spoting the ruby necklace that was flying in the gust.
Grunt 2: "We cannot afford to allow them to complain to the boss that we have assaulted his kid."
Grunt 1: "Which one is his kid?" who then received a slap from the second grunt.
Grunt 2: "The one with the necklace that has our logo on it"
Grunt 1: "OH! Hopefully the brats don't talk. Let's bounce."
They recalled the zubat that still remained and fled the scene.
"Well that was weird? I wonder why they left without finishing the battle, sucks too because we were winning. I wonder what scared them off?" Gary stated to Terra, who just shrugged an 'I don't know' to Gary.
"Well let's get going. We're at the halfway point of this passage way which means that Cerulean city is close by." Terra pointed to Gary the direction that the two of them needed to walk. Both of them at this point were getting fed up with all of the geodudes and zubats that lived within the passage way.
After walking for an hour or so there was light at the end of the tunnel. Stepping outside there was Route 4. At least they were almost there. They only needed to head east. They leapt over tiny little hills that were rock piles. The rock piles represented the broader of Cerulean city and the route that they had just completed.
They arrived at the Pokémon Center in time for dinner and for their Pokémon to recover overnight.
