Just Like Magic: A Suite Life/Waverly Place Crossover
Aftermath
In a matter of days, across the world of tomorrow…
The Writers Guild strike of 2007 ends shortly in November: With combined efforts from writers and executives to raise money to clean up what's left of the planet. Similar efforts are being made across the world. Not all hate and crime is gone in the world. But…world peace may very well be coming back to stay.
Mr. Tipton is going into a partnership with the near devastated Disney cruise lines, to recover the S.S. Tipton and the Disney cruises for the future multifold. In light of this new partnership, Mr. Tipton gets more than enough money to afford safer hotel safety codes and for more medical staff. And so, heightening security at the Tipton hotels becomes nothing more than a throwaway card on the table.
Deiselle and Archim are punished by the Wizard community for their crimes. They're sentenced to a wizard created desert island for a year: With land that can stretch out forever, the bare necessities…and their dragon friends from the volcano spell cast back to existence just so they could angrily come after them.
Kalku Witchcraft and You turns out to be a indestructible book, crafted by a ancient wizard of black magic. It was cursed to destroy any that try to destroy it. So, the Wizard Council of wizards decided to leave it in a abandoned house in hopes of no one ever finding it. Now it stays buried in one of the 77 Wonders of the Wizard World, where no wizard would think to dig it up because of their bizarrely popular wizard draining powers.
Roughly a week later, after that fateful day…
On the doorstep of a certain loft in Waverly Place… There's a knock on the dark yellow door. Alex's father Jerry Russo answers the door, "who is…it?" He has his very dark brown frontless medium hair. He's in his pale green shirt, like he often is. And standing in the door…is Alex in a red and black striped long sleeved sweatshirt over a dark green dress.
A little nervous to face him, she says, "dad? Don't you recognize me? It's me: Alex. Slight nervous chuckle. It's really me." With a faint smile, Jerry figures, "how could I forget my own daughter?" With mixed relief, a faintly teary eyed Alex concludes, "I don't get it. I…thought you hated me." Jerry sits down on the center orange couch. Alex sits next to him, in a very unsure way.
With a heavy sigh, he points out, "I don't hate you. Well…only at first. But, as time went on… I've come to realize that Kelbo becoming your guardian was the best thing that happened to you. With him no longer your wizard teacher… I…was afraid you'd become worse than him. Worse than your aunt Megan, even." Alex admits openly, "looking back at my adventures in Magic Medieval Quest… Moderate sigh. I think I should've listened to you more often."
Jerry hugs his daughter close. Slightly smiling, he highlights, "well, it's as good a time to start as any." Looking to him, Alex smiles back, "thanks, dad." Jerry adds, "you're welcome."
Casually, Alex adds, "oh, yeah. And, I'm seeing someone now." Sounding more concerned, Jerry looks at her, "you're what?" Alex lightly chuckles, "that's the dad I know." A little confused, Jerry figures, "thanks. I think."
Out elsewhere, across most television sets in the world…
A cartoony black conveyor belt of upside down dvds goes by. A little song starts to strike a chord, "boxed DVDs? Never heard of them." Men in office desks in gold yellow stamp big green $$'s on them as they go, not even looking down.
The song goes on, "there's editions of Gold, Diamond, and crystal gowns." Specially rimmed DVD editions of the Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, Lady and the Tramp, and so on and so forth. Then Cinderella's crystal gowns swoop down upon them like ghosts. DVD editions of Pocahontas and Mulan are knocked into the fires of insanity. All that remains of them are one time special editions that are neither gold, diamond, or remembered much of.
The song goes on, "there's little pink dresses for the girls, and little red racing cars for the guys." A royal ball laced in gold is shown. The women are in pink dresses and bows, almost doll like in how stiff they moved. The men are in black and white tuxedoes, sickeningly untouched by stiffness like very smug angels that deserved no wings. Mary Poppins like umbrellas go by overhead, with glaring cows and crocodiles waving down to them.
The screens change over to racing car like dark red tricked out Tron cycles, outrunning two dark red Tron Recognizers and blasting at each other with digitized fireballs. Flying pirate ships go by overhead, with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys annoyedly shaking their heads down at them.
The song changes gears, "just don't ask about Ariel: We retconned that for the money." The collection of Ariel's gizmos and trinkets aplenty in her cave stand tall, like a museum to stand the test of time.
Then, with the wave of a black wand…it all goes poof. And in it's place…is a collection of DVDs of the not so popular Little Mermaid prequel Ariel's Beginning: Spinning in gold harp strings tangled in dollar bills.
Then… It cuts to executives running down the sewers of Florida with Ariel's trinkets. And, shoving them into the cold gray Disney treasury vault that only passes for the real Disney Vault. The song strikes again, "boxed DVDs? Never heard of them." The cartoon conveyor belt of DVDs passes by.
The song goes on, "there's Enchanted of Rapunzels, Snow Whites, and Sleeping Beauties. There's little companies that will make dvds for popcorn change." The conveyor belt has factory like claw machines flip over the dvds into double wide plastic cases. They say Enchanted, Robin Hood, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty on them: The titles lazily stamped on with claw machines, which say "courtesy of Shout Factory."
The song goes on, "just don't ask us who: Even our agents don't know." It cuts to the anomaly that the DVD box sets of Kim Possible are. The dark blue suited up Global Justice agents of Kim Possible themselves are surveying them, unable to spot the super small Disney logo lazily written there.
The chorus chimes in, "boxed DVDs? Never heard of them. Boxed DVDs? Never heard of them." The conveyor belt makes its last appearance: Coming back around to the executives with their gold desks.
Then… It pulls away into commercial territory, "so come buy from a company you can trust: Warner Brothers, on behalf of the DC Animation Studios." The DC animated Justice League and Batman Beyond boxed sets show up, with the Warner Brothers and the DC Comics logos in the middle in big letters.
In more related news, with Zack and Alex…
A island with lots of tall grass is in the middle of the pacific. A island with nightclub styled red neon signs outside spelling out Magic Medieval Quest, and Zack and Alex's faces overhead in blue and purple neon. With Zack's idea and a "great grandfather's will" story…they revived Magic Medieval Quest as a theme park like island nation.
Gold pieces in there is as good as cash. The highest ranking players could "practically live here." The slogan is as follows, "Magic Medieval Quest: The one magical kingdom on the seas, where the fun never stops."
ZapperWitch23, DrumSoarer321, IDontDance11, StrawberryPrincess312, Rock Heeled Princess… A lot of them still come here from near and far: Whether if it's more about getting even, or about just enjoying themselves.
Above all the grass, on a very familiar flying couch… Alex, Zack, and a returning Harper herself are taking in the view of the stars. A little worried, Harper wonders, "you sure this is safe, Alex?" Alex mostly assures, "trust me. It's a lot safer than it used to be." Harper wonders curiously, "what do you mean?"
Zack hints, "you got all night? Because, it's a really long story." Playfully, Alex slightly chuckles, "oh, don't believe him: It's not that long." Harper figures simply, "I came all the way from home to forgive you, Alex. I have all night." Alex smiles, "awww." She hugs her tightly. She voices, "it's good to have you back, Harper." Harper slightly nods, "me too. Me too."
