ULTIMATE DISCLAIMER IN PROFILE AND CHAPTER 1!
ULTIMATE WARNING IN PROFILE AND CHAPTER 1!
AU, OOC. Mentions of prostitution (only slightly graphic).
Alright, guys, here's the new chapter. At first there's some humor (hope I haven't gone overboard), then it is Story-Time. It's gonna be sad, I can tell you.
Okay, enjoy!
The next morning the occupants of the house were woken up by mouth-watering scents. While Sam was dressing, running footsteps echoed through the hallway, hurrying down in front of Sam's door. He instantly knew who was rushing to their destination.
As he stepped into the kitchen, Bobby joining him, his guess was confirmed: Dean was already sitting at the table with a fork and a knife in his hands, waiting. Taking a seat Sam noticed Jade standing at the stove, where the alluring aromas of breakfast flowed from.
"You didn't have to take the trouble of making breakfast" Sam murmured, but Dean pointed his knife to him from the opposite end of the table.
"Shut your mouth and leave the food alone, Sammy!" the man narrowed his eyes. Before Sam could have come up with a retort, an enchanting laugh filled the room. Sam blushed ten shades of red hearing it.
"Don't worry, Dean!" Jade said with a smile. "No one can swerve me from cooking. I love to make meals and I've never gotten any complaints before."
Sam and Bobby laughed at Dean's dreamy expression then the laugh joined them, too; glancing its way the young man just caught Jade turning back to the stove.
Soon the cook stepped to the table with two plates that he placed in front of the brothers. Dean stared with wide eyes, dribbling – not literally, 'Thank God' Sam thought – at the precisely arranged fried eggs, bacon and toast. Sam was observing stunned the professional work, as well. Jade then appeared with two more plates, one he gave to Bobby the other he put on the free place, for himself.
However, before he could take his seat, Sam shot up from his. The other two men looked at him with raised eyebrows and questioning looks, but the two faces showed different questions. The confusion burned its way through the young man from Dean's eyes, accomplishing an effective 'What the hell are you doing?' expression. By contrast, though, amusement was glinting in Bobby's eyes, hinting a 'Since when are you such a gentleman?' question. Sam's blush came back with extra strength – he was wondering how he haven't fainted by now with this much blushing – and he pinned his gaze onto Jade instead.
The boy was also blushing; the sight caused Sam the urge to kiss the teen all over and whisper tender words to him flare up. He was still wearing Sam's shirt that the original owner didn't mind one bit. The teen was wringing his small hands shyly and a small smile danced on his lips. Jade slowly sat down then Sam followed him, so they could begin eating at last.
Unsurprisingly, Dean got the first bite among them. His grass-green eyes rolled back immediately then closed and the man moaned with pleasure. Swallowing the bite Dean fell on the table.
"I think I just came" he murmured with a satisfied slur.
"Dean!" Sam scolded him and Bobby whacked the older Winchester on the back of his head. The man straightened with a yelp and looked at Bobby with hurt.
"Stop fooling around, you drama-queen!" Bobby cut off Dean's words, before they came out. Accompanied by a soft chuckle they could finally start eating.
"That was the best orgasm of my life" Dean exclaimed out of the blue with a mischievous smile, as soon as he finished his meal. The reactions were phenomenal: Sam's current bite went down the wrong way and he started coughing up his lungs, while Bobby hurried away for a glass of water. However, Jade just burst out laughing.
Shortly everyone calmed down and they could finish their breakfasts. Though, the minute the food vanished, Sam jumped up from his chair and stalked around the table angrily. Dean recognized the danger, so he leaped out of his seat and scurried out onto the yard, with Sam hot on his heels. Jade gathered the plates to wash up, but through the window his eyes landed on the events going on outside: the brothers were chasing about, until Sam tackled his brother, starting a mock-wrestling match with that. The two Winchesters' laughter lured a smile onto Jade's lips.
"Thank you" Bobby spoke up suddenly behind him. Jade jumped, but didn't turn around.
"For what?" he asked confused.
"For giving them back the happiness" Bobby replied. "They went through a lot of terrible stuff and I even wanted to pray for some higher power just to hear them laughing again. I'm sure you understand" the older man clapped gently the teen's shoulder and left him alone.
"Yeah" Jade whispered to himself, "I do."
Another moonlit night greeted them, dusting the dazzling blackness with stars. The salvage yard was covered with the outside lamp's golden beams, lighting up Sam's sitting form on the steps leading onto the backyard. From his hand a beer bottle was dangling that the young man took a swig from time to time.
"Are you not cold?" came an innocent, shy voice from behind him. Turning around Sam met with Jade's small form. The young Winchester took in the sweatpants with surprise, disappointed by the clothing on the beautiful legs.
"Dean and Bobby found me one" the teen commented timidly. Sam then noticed the small arms wrapped around the torso.
"Why don't you go inside?" Sam asked gently. "I'm not cold, but you must be freezing."
Jade smiled with a blush then trembled from the breeze flying past him. With small, measured steps he walked to Sam and sat onto the stair next to the young man.
"I thought you would like some company" the boy muttered bashfully. Sam silently watched the vulnerable soul sitting beside him for a while then decided he would satisfy his curiosity.
"Can I ask an indiscreet question?" he spoke quietly. Jade chuckled.
"After what… happened" the boy shuddered again, this time from the memories, "there's nothing that could bring up an indiscreet question."
Sam nodded with a sad smile and turned towards the yard.
"How did you become… a prostitute?" he finally asked, while he fumbled with the beer bottle in his hands.
"I'm sure your friend knows about the wizarding war in Britain" Jade began his explanation willingly. "It went on for long years, maybe decades. The leader of the enemy was a cruel, cold-blooded wizard. The whole thing was about prejudices, just like racism. However, there was possibly more bloodshed here than anywhere, since not just the muggleborns, the ones born into non-magical families, were killed, but they also murdered the muggles, the various legendary creatures and everyone, even purebloods, who sided with the muggleborns. It was a bit like… maybe Hitler."
"That's horrible" Sam whispered shaken.
"I was born into this era" Jade continued. "1992, to be exact. It would have been better if I died before my birth."
"Don't say things like that!" Sam interrupted hastily, but the boy just smiled sadly.
"I was one year old, when my family was attacked by the wizard. First he killed my parents, my Mom died in front of my cradle. He wanted to kill me as well, but the curse rebounded onto him and he disappeared, destroying half of the first floor of our house. After that I was living with my only living…" Jade's voice choked as his throat tightened, "with my Mom's sister and her family." Sam closed his eyes as he heard his charge's struggle.
"Did they make you…" he started softly.
"For the most part" Jade choked out then took a deep breath. "For ten years they treated me like a bloody leprous slave." The anger was practically boiling under the boy's skin. "Then I got into Hogwarts, where my life changed. I met with a guy and a girl, luckily they're still good friends of mine. They stood by me all the time, but they weren't strong enough to help me escape. Later, as the wizard returned into his body, a prophecy was discovered that stated that I have to kill him or he'll kill me. I was fifteen, when I did it."
"Jesus!" Sam was horrified; he wasn't even surprised to see tears on the boy's cheeks.
"It turned out that I came from a wealthy family" Jade continued unwaveringly. "The goblins working in the bank saved my wealth, before the wizarding world destroyed me. The superiors corrupted my name and gave me to the muggles, my Mom's sister. Her husband instantly instilled everything into me and threw me out onto the streets to get some money. One wizard of the ministry made my hair grow and trusted me on my uncle for advertisement, under observation, of course." Jade's arms tightened on his torso, making Sam understand what he meant by "advertisement". "No one could ever seduce me, so I only did…" the boy swallowed heavily, "oral sex. There were a lot of displeased customers, so that was why that rule came up, which I…"
"The five times?" Sam asked, getting a nod for an answer.
"One night a guy hired me. He was completely wasted and he just started to drag me away. He tore my clothes off that were already hanging on me like rags and…" Jade was stopped by distraught sobs and Sam laid an arm around the boy's shoulders, pressing a kiss on the top of his head and rocking him with kind, quiet words. After a few minutes Jade calmed down and continued:
"I immediately ran away, tried to escape. I wished that I would be finally happy and safe. And it came true: I got here to you two. The constant care and kindness felt so good… But then I changed back from cat to human…"
"Just because you weren't a real cat, we won't ignore you" Sam interrupted. Jade then turned into his arms, leaning his head on the young man's shoulder, sliding his arm onto the muscled back and laying his free hand above the young man's rapidly beating heart. Sam lifted his charge into his arms at that and sat with him in his lap onto the veranda at the edge of the house's wall. The poor, broken soul quieted only after a long while.
"Can I ask you something?" Sam said. Feeling the nod on his shoulders he continued:
"What's the color of your eyes?"
Jade started laughing with a snort that was muffled by Sam's neck. The young man couldn't help a smile hearing that.
"No one have ever seen the original one" the boy answered getting serious. "I've always changed it to jade-green. My two irises are my only treasure that I still own; even when I had to live under unbearable circumstances, they were mine. I protect them at all cost. Maybe once I'll show them to you. If I know I can trust you."
"I understand" Sam said. "I hope I will earn your trust sometime."
"All three of you are on the right way" Jade murmured then closed his eyes and fell asleep. Feeling the closing eyelashes Sam took the exhausted boy into the house, so all of them can have a good night's sleep.
