ULTIMATE DISCLAIMER IN PROFILE AND CHAPTER 1!
ULTIMATE WARNING IN PROFILE AND CHAPTER 1!
AU, OOC.
Hey, guys! I decided to make an exception. As I said before, maybe in other stories, reviews are what makes the story going. Which means I need reviewS, as in PLURAL. Not only 1 review for a chapter. So, I thought I inform you about this and give you a shorter snippet of the story as well. Just to urge you into reviewing.
If the story is boring for you, maybe because you want some SLASH or action, wait until the next chapter. I can guarantee that there will be some SLASH in it. You just need to wait for it and of course, REVIEW!
Thanks for understanding and staying with the story! Enjoy this little chapter!
The silent room was filled with soft music and the buzzing of the A/C. On the light-green walls pictures were hanged of supermodels standing in their best pose on the catwalk. Among the racks and the sea of clothes a few mannequin imitated them, showing new, trendy clothes.
At the counter, next to an enormous cash register stood the owner of the shop, Honey. She was reading a fashion magazine in the light of the neon lamps to chase away her boredom. Closing time is not too far away, but the customers were already gone, so she just had to wait till she's going to shut this place up at the end of a successful day. Her high-heeled, white, thigh-length boots glinted in the light, as she was tapping its toe in entertainment. Her neon-green dress, a mini-skirted, sleeveless dress with V-neck, perfectly fitted her slim body, a wide, black belt decorating the dress and her waist. Her mahogany-red hair was tied up into a loose bun; she was twirling one free lock with her index finger or was smoothing it down her white, rouge-colored cheek.
She was absorbed in an article, an interview with a model, when a strong thud resounded in the shop, coming from the door. Looking up she saw a girl on the ground, her long, ebony-black hair lying on the floor like the ocean in the evening, even darker from the shining of the snow-white tiles. Before Honey could have hurried to the girl's help, she started to get to her feet. Honey then noticed her clothes: a shirt twice as big as one that would fit the girl and sweatpants. After a minute she realized: the girl was actually a boy! He wasn't more than seventeen.
Suddenly the boy hurried to her; tears were streaming down his face, their source being a pair of beautiful jade-green eyes.
"Ca-Can I use a ph-phone?" the boy asked shakily. Honey felt pity for him immediately and gave him her mobile without a word. The boy politely thanked her and ran to the changing rooms, Honey right after him in case her help would be needed.
She heard the boy dialing distressed then the dial tone. Soon a deep voice of a man came through the speakers, loud enough for Honey to hear it:
"Hello?"
"Sam" the boy spoke.
"Jade?" Honey heard the question. So the boy's name is Jade? Beautiful name and fitting as well… But the voice sounded scared. "What happened?"
"Come for me, Sam!" the boy named Jade sobbed. "Please!"
"Where are you?" came the more frightened question. Honey couldn't hold back anymore.
"Can I help you with anything?" she called out kindly. The boy cried silently for a little while, letting through a rushed 'Jade? Jade, who was that? Tell me, where are you?' then the curtain was pulled away and Jade thrust the phone to its owner.
"Hello?" Honey spoke as soon as she took the phone.
"Who are you?" came the suspicious question. "Where's Jade?"
"Please, let me speak!" Honey interrupted quickly. "My name is Honey Williams. Jade is in the mall, on the first floor in a shop called Fashion Sense. I'm the owner. I don't have any customer, so he will be safe while you're getting here."
"Alright, we'll be there soon" the man answered. "Don't let Jade do something strange!"
"I won't" Honey assured the man, although she didn't understand what kind of strangeness could happen. "Can you tell me your name?"
"Sam Winchester."
"Okay. Sam, you better hurry" Honey said then hung up the phone. Sometime during the conversation Jade crouched down and started rocking himself back and forth, his hands buried in his locks. Honey squatted down in front of him.
"So, your name is Jade?" the boy straightened out at the question, but he was still shaking wildly. He nodded once with lowered eyes then after a few attempts he spoke almost inaudibly:
"And yours is Ms. Williams?" Honey's heart broke at the innocence in the query. How could someone make this kind of an impression at first glance?
"Call me Honey!" she replied kindly. "I'm not that old."
"Alright" Jade whispered. "Thank you for your help. I hope I won't be a nuisance on the miss's shoulder- I mean" the boy paled from fear, "your shoulder…"
Honey gazed at the form crouching in front of her with shock; he acts like he's waiting for a strike or for some kind of a punishment.
"I'm not gonna bite you" she said softly, but a bit worriedly. "Come on!" she held her hand out. "Let's sit at the counter, so they can see us better, alright?"
The boy cautiously gripped her hand and they stood up together to go to the counter. However, when Honey turned to the boy, he noticed horrified that the boy was untangling the knot on his sweatpants tearfully like he was being tortured. Thinking that this was the weirdness that Sam mentioned earlier, she gently grabbed Jade's wrists and retied the knot on the pants.
"W-When do we start?" Jade breathed brokenly, but Honey just wrapped her arms around him.
"Why don't you unburden yourself some?" Honey asked quietly and pushed the boy into a chair. Jade took a deep breath and started to carefully tell his tale, the complete truth. Somehow he felt that he could trust this girl with his past.
When Sam arrived, Jade had already come to an end of the story and Honey was comforting him. Glancing up she saw two men stepping into the shop. Jade must have noticed their arrival, too, because he began sobbing. The younger, but taller man instantly rushed to them, while the older one watched them from the counter.
"It's okay, Jade" the younger embraced the boy then glanced at the girl. "You must be Ms. Williams."
"Honey" she corrected him. "Please, no 'Ms.'! And you must be Sam Winchester."
Sam nodded then kneeled in front of Jade.
"Can you tell me what happened?" the young man caressed the boy's cheek.
"I wanted to shop" Jade began, "but they chased me from everywhere. I went into the shop opposite this, but they didn't want to serve me, either. I didn't want to leave, so they… they…" The boy started to sob again then the ending of his explanation burst out of him:
"They literally threw me out!"
Rage appeared on Sam's face, but he tenderly pulled his charge back into his arms. Honey spared a glance to the older one, whose gaze was stabbing coldly, before he turned on his heels and stormed out of the shop.
"And then?" Sam asked. Honey realized, as she turned back, that the question was addressed to her.
"I was waiting for closing time, when I heard a big thud" she answered dutifully. "Jade quite literally fell in through the entrance door then he stepped to me and asked to borrow my phone and he called you in the changing rooms. After the call I led him here, to the counter, but when I turned back, he was starting to get his pants off."
Honey's speech was interrupted by Jade, who pushed Sam away and hurriedly began unbuttoning his own shirt. As Sam restrained him and pulled the hands away, Jade struggled weakly, but the young man wrapped the shaking arms around his neck.
"Hold 'em here!" Sam ordered softly the boy, who fisted the chestnut-brown, shoulder-length locks with one hand. Honey saw that the boy's grip was really strong and on the brink of painful, but Sam never showed any signs of feeling it, except maybe the gathering tears, but that could have another explanation. Meanwhile, Sam buttoned the shirt back up then pressed a kiss onto the boy's cheek and hugged him again. The older one then returned a little more composed.
"He's my brother, Dean" Sam commented. Honey nodded towards Dean with a bit of surprise, who greeted her with a nod as well. Sam couldn't even have known who stepped into the shop, since he didn't turn around! It could have been a regular customer.
"While we were waiting for you" Honey continued from where he stopped, "Jade told me his life." Sam looked up at her frightened, but Honey lifted her hand comfortingly. "I believe him. I can't find any reason to doubt his words. And I wouldn't push him away anyway because of what he was forced into. Not even if he volunteered for it."
"We appreciate it" Dean spoke up for the first time. Honey's heart quickened a bit: two totally handsome guys with hot, sexy, deep voices and at least one of them are homosexual. Freaking Heaven on Earth! Suddenly Jade laughed out loud then winked at Honey.
"You tell me" Jade grinned. Honey got scared: was she thinking out loud? "I'm sorry" Jade spoke again, "I meant, you think?"
Honey laughed at that, too, while the brothers just watched them confused. Although, the edge of Sam's mouth was shaking from suppressing a relieved smile, seeing his charge in a good mood.
"So, Jade" Honey said after calming down. "What do you say we have a tour around my shop and you can buy some things?"
"I would thank you for that" Jade smiled. Honey thought that smile completely brightened up the innocent face.
"Dean and I will go buy some provisions" Sam offered then standing up, the brothers prepared to leave. "We'll meet at the entrance! We'll take you home" he called back before disappearing.
"Honey" Jade turned to the girl, "do you know a good hairdresser?"
Sam and Dean were sitting in the kitchen and were telling Bobby what happened in the mall. They had been there, when they had gotten a phone call from Honey to not wait for Jade, because he will get back later. Two hours passed since then and Sam was glancing at his watch worriedly in almost every minute.
"Sam! Dean! Bobby!" Jade's voice broke into the kitchen. "Can you come into the living room for a little bit?"
The three men jumped up and hurried into the requested room. As soon as they stepped through the threshold, they halted from shock.
In front of them, in the middle of the room stood Jade, but it wasn't him. A new pair of trainers was on his feet, only the toes peeking out from under the beige slacks. The deep-red shirt was striped with white, narrow streaks that disappeared behind the waist of the pants, where the shirt was tucked in. However, the most visible change came next: Jade's long, ebony-black locks vanished; his face was framed by short tresses. The hairs were messy like they were gelled, but everyone knew that that was the natural state of them. The boy was waiting for some kind of a reaction with a lowered head, his ruffled bangs lying on his forehead.
"Wow" Dean breathed. Jade smiled then spoke up:
"Let me introduce myself" the boy raised his head, but his eyes remained closed. He took a deep breath and said:
"My name is Harry Potter."
He then opened his eyes; the men's jaws dropped open and Sam blushed ten shades of red: two wonderful emerald orbs sparkled and threw their lights onto the room.
