Chapter 11

Disclaimer: I don't own Kickin It.

"Kim." April called her.

April had the counselors right behind her. It took them an hour or two to figure out Kim was in the cabin. Kim was still sound asleep. The counselors were mad at both themselves, for not checking the cabin first, and the warriors.

"Kim!" April shouted. Kim just flinched a little and rolled over; her back facing April.

April started to shake her gently and looked over her shoulder toward the anger camper counselors. She gave them a tight, forced smile. They just glared at her angry.

"Gees, I know that you were worried but God you don't have to be so mean." April thought and she laughed nervously when she realized she'd been shaking Kim for like five minutes, and she still wasn't awake.

"Sorry Kim, you've left me with no choice." April thought.

"AHH, KIM THE GUY WITH THE CRUSTY LIPS IS TRYING TO KISS YOU AGAIN!" April shouted and with that said, Kim jolted up into a sitting position, ready to fight him off like last time. She looked around for him and then her eyes landed on the camp counselors.

"Um…hey guys." Kim said quietly and awkwardly.

"Where have you been?" Ashley asked through her teeth.

"Duh…I've been…out?" Kim's statement turned into a question. She quickly glanced over to April for help.

"Say you saw the snake that was hissing and went a long way; trying to avoid any other snakes. You then got tired and without thinking went straight to the cabin for a nap." April messaged Kim.

"I mean…I saw the snake making the hissing and went a longer way to avoid any other snakes. I got tired and went here for a nap without thinking." Kim lied it wasn't obvious but when she said without thinking her voice got higher. The counselors let that slide.

"Ok, but you're still in trouble for not contacting us right away." Carrie declared.

"But there's no reception here!" Kim exclaimed in defense.

"Tell me Kim. Did you ever look at your phone?" Eric questioned, narrowing his eyes.

"Um, uh…yes." Kim said with a high voice. Eric crossed his arms and looked Kim dead in the eye. "No." Kim gave in.

"That's what I thought. Now get up because you all get to clean off the two canoes the nerds were in." Carrie said smirking evilly.

"W-what happened to them?" Kim asked nervous of the answer.

"You know they don't really have control over their tummies." Eric said rubbing his flat belly.

"They didn't." Kim said in disgusted.

"Yeah the smell has been in my nose for a good hour. You honestly get use to it." April thought.

"They did and now you all clean it up. Get the others from the office, the cleaning supplies should be in the closet and go the canoes. They're on the grass waiting." Ashley said.

"Why in the stupid canoe?! You're surrounded by water you couldn't move your head over some." Kim thought.

"And after that stay in the office for the rest of the day. Come out for dinner then go straight to cabins. We'll think of what we'll do to you, Kim, tomorrow." Ashley added.

Kim and April nodded. They knew if they said anything the punishment would get worst for everyone.

"Ok bye, bye." Eric said and April and Kim walked over to the office.

On the way there they saw the canoes. Kim took note that April cringed as they passed by.

"I could smell it and it stinks. I can't imagine how strong the scent is for her." Kim thought looking at April.

They got to the office and opened to the door. April and Kim's eyes widen in shock. The scene in front of them was surprising.

Jack had Jerry pinned against the wall. His hand grasped Jerry's shirt and his other hand was drawn, ready to punch. Jerry stared at Jack straight in the eye, his jaws locked. They both were breathing hard and angry (Jack's eye were red). Milton was on the side of them. It seemed like he was trying to stop him or at least calm them down. Milton looked at the girls with pleading eyes.

"Go ahead Jack. Hit me. Oh wait you're going to stop now because April's here now. She's never going to forgive you! Acting nice won't be enough for her forgiveness! She made it clear she hates you and what you did will make things worst!" Jerry exclaimed.

"SHUT UP!" Jack shouted.

"I'm just stating facts here!" Jerry exclaimed.

"What the hell happened?!" April exclaimed.

Jack and Jerry turned toward the girls but Jack didn't try to let go of Jerry. Jerry opened his mouth.

"Say anything and I'll kill April slowly and make you watch." Jack threatened Jerry through mind message.

Jerry closed his mouth.

"Someone say something." Kim said looking at Jack.

"I have nothing to say." Jack said through his teeth.

"What did you do? Let go of Jerry." Kim thought; which was meant for Jack to hear.

He did as she said and let go.

"I didn't do anything." Jack said through his teeth.

"I find that hard to believe. You were the one ready to punch Jerry in the face. Now Imma play out what just happened. You said something Jerry didn't like, and then Jerry said something you didn't like. Now knowing your short temper you started shouting, and then Jerry started shouting. Finally you got fed up with the shouting, so you pinned Jerry to the wall, ready to punch." April said like she was a detective.

Jack made a growling sound at the back of his throat.

"I'm sorry. I'm just hungry ok." Jack said lazily.

"Then go eat and don't put it out on others." Kim spoke up.

Jack glared at her for a moment and Kim glared back. Jack scoffed and left with his super speed without another word.

April turned around toward Kim. She narrowed her eyes at Kim.

"How'd you do that?" April asked.

"What?" Kim asked clueless.

"You told Jack to leave and he actually left. I've never been able to do that, even after establishing a strong friendship with him. It's usually impossible to talk him out of things, but you just used ten words and he's out." April explained.

"Well, that could just be his hunger."Kim assumed.

"Right." April said but it was obvious was still suspicious.

She then turned to the boys.

"What happened?" April asked calmly.

"It was nothing really." Jerry said quietly and Milton nodded.

"It didn't sound like nothing." Kim said.

"Well, it was nothing. Ok!" Milton exclaimed out of no where.

"He only does that random exclaim when he wants to change the subject. He's hiding something from the argument but what?" Kim thought.

April narrowed her eyes again but then rolled them.

"You know what, today has been complicated and I don't what to make things more complicated so we're talking about this tomorrow." April said firmly.

She's right but when Kim looked at her, she saw that April wanted to know so badly. Kim's known April long enough to know that she hates not knowing things.

"Come on we have to clean the stupid canoes." April said and walked to the supply closet in the corner and got the cleaning supplies. No one moved to help her they just stared.

"When she just changes the subject like that it's never good. Tomorrow will be hell for Jerry and me." Milton thought.

"Let's go!" April exclaimed after a couple minutes of silence.

Everybody snapped out of their trance and went to the lake where the rotten smelling canoes were at.

On there walk all Kim could think was 'I want answers.' When they got there they split for clean up. Kim with Milton and April with Jerry. It would have been boys together; girls together, but Kim wanted to be with Milton.

"It's a lot easier to get answers out of him." Kim thought as they walked to the canoes they were cleaning next to the others.

"So Milton what did I miss while I was gone?" Kim asked as she grabbed a bucket, she had filled with soap water, she filled before they left the office, two sponges and brushes.

"Oh nothing much; we told the counselors we didn't know where you were and they got mad. They left us in the office so they could send a search party for you. April and Jack argued a bit before they went to get you then April came back and told us you were alright and that Jack was taking you the cabin."

Kim blushed a little, thinking about the kiss.

"So anything else?" Kim asked as she put the sponges and brushes in the bucket.

"Nope Jack came back and we sat in silence. The counselors came didn't find you and April lead them to the cabin."Milton explained grabbing a brush. "This is disgusting!" He exclaimed as scrubbed and the smell hit him.

"He's not saying something. His left eyebrow twitched. That the other way we know he's lying. There's the high pitch voice and the eyebrow twitch." Kim thought a bit annoyed and ticked off.

"What are you not telling?" Kim questioned, making Milton freeze from scrubbing.

"N-not-nothing." Milton stuttered feeling the pressure. Kim gave him a death glare and he broke. "Fine, Jack told us after April left with the counselors." Milton lowered his voice to a whisper.

"Told you guys what?" Kim whispered.

"You and Jack ki…" Milton got interrupted.

"Don't say that out loud. Sure we're whispering but April has vampire senses and she could probably hear us." Kim whispered.

"Damn it. She catches on quick with this vampire stuff. What was Milton going to say? I only caught 'You and Jack...' You and Jack' what?!" April thought in frustration and growled under her breath.

"Well, Jack came in smirking and stuff, and then when April left, we questioned him why he was a smiling so much and he told us. He also said he would be nicer to everyone so when he does tell April she won't be as mad. Jerry thought it was a bad idea and it would fail. Jack and Jerry started arguing and before you know it Jack had Jerry pinned to the wall. That's when you guys walked in." Milton explained everything.

Kim nodded.

"Tell me what?! Why would I get mad if he told me now? I want to know now!" April shouted in her thoughts. "And this toxic vomit smell isn't helping my anger!"

April scrubbed faster and fiercer in anger. Jerry gave her a confused look; April looked up and glared at him with red eyes. He squealed quietly and looked back at the canoe; it was clean. Jerry looked back up at April to see she was still glaring with her red, anger eyes. She looked at him like she'd kill him any second. Jerry swallowed a lump in his throat.

"W-what wr-wrong April?" Jerry asked nervously.

"What are you not telling me? You know I don't like not knowing things. I know you're my boyfriend now but I'm this close to breaking your neck with my fangs!" April threatened Jerry through a mind link.

Jerry shivered and looked at her shocked.

"Sorry, now that you know I'm a vampire, the true vampire in me will show a lot easier than usual. But for real what are not telling me about that argument with Jack?" April thought a lot calmer.
