ULTIMATE WARNING IN PROFILE AND CHAPTER 1!
AU, OOC.
Hey, guys! New chapter! And it's the HUNT! -cackles into his hand- -cough, cough- Sorry, somethin' in my throat...
I would like to introduce you to BadAss!Kyle. Since I made so many similarities between Sam and Harry, I thought I would do the same with Dean and Kyle. It's not much, but it's there! At least I hope...
Oh, and the URL about the Browning pistol:

Okay then, let's get on with the story! Enjoy!
The sun was above the horizon, ascending up from its hideout. The light reflected on the raised trunk lid of the black Impala in the salvage yard. Dean checked the weaponry in the trunk then closing the hidden compartment he threw his bag on top of it. After a few moments two other bags landed next to his as Sam stepped next to his brother. Turning to Harry behind him, Sam gave the boy one normal and the demon-killing knife that Harry grabbed without hesitation.
"Wait" Dean spoke suddenly. "Can you use a knife?"
A small smile appeared on Harry's face then twirling the knife in the air, he changed his hold on it. Dean whistled in approval and turned to the trunk, but before he could close the lid, a worn duffel bag landed next to the others. Turning that way, all of them were shocked: Kyle stood next to them, a rigid and determined expression on his face as he looked at them.
"What the hell are you doing?" Dean asked.
"I'm going with you" Kyle replied, his tone a little cold, it even made Harry shudder. "What does it look like?"
"Are you crazy?" Dean got angry. "Do you even know what we're gonna do?"
"Yes."
"And can you even use some kind of weapon?" Dean asked reluctantly, seeing the cold stubbornness emanating from Kyle. The boy didn't answer him; he just stepped to his duffel bag and started searching in it. Almost instantly he pulled out a Browning 9 mm handgun, its silver barrel glinting in the sunlight. Turning away his eyes caught a rusty can on the ground feet away from them. He shot at it once and the target flew up into the air. With no pause Kyle followed the can with his gun and pulled the trigger two more times: the can fell down to the ground with a rattle landing at their feet. Kyle lifted it up and thrust it into Dean's hands.
"Satisfied?" he asked without a hint of emotion then throwing his gun into his bag he got into the backseat. The brothers examined the can: in its exact middle there was one hole, big enough for one bullet, but inside three bullets rattled at every movement.
"This is…" Dean breathed in shock.
"Unbelievable…" Sam finished for him. The closing of the trunk snapped them out of their stupor: Harry shut it down.
"Shall we go?" the boy asked quietly. Dean put the can onto the ground then they all got into the car, driving away with clouds of dust behind them.
The trip was filled with a little tension. While Sam and Harry discussed the details of the hunt between them, Dean was stealing glances towards Kyle. He immediately recognized the boy's posture from himself: tense, unmoving limbs, indifferent expression, empty gaze that deliberately avoided the others, "watching" the view passing by them. What didn't belong into this picture and filled him with worry was the hand lying on the dark jeans: it was fisted so hard that the whole arm was trembling from the force. This wasn't from anger, though: the boy was scared. But of what? Dean was wracking his mind about it for this whole time, but he just couldn't find an answer. Kyle said he knows what he'd signed up for, he knows the big chance of danger. The demonstration with the gun was a proof of that. What is he afraid of then?
"Dean?" Sam's voice broke through the flood of his thoughts. Dean snapped his gaze onto his brother then back to the road.
"Yeah" he grunted, listening.
"I researched a bit about the case, but I haven't gotten an exact answer" Sam explained. "I found out that a few months ago there were electrical storms, cattle mutilations in the area…"
"Which means a demon has come into town" Dean noted.
"Yes, that's what I thought first" Sam nodded. "But then these signs stopped, exactly on the day when the first two victims disappeared. Then the others were found and the bodies were mutilated. It turned out later that the hearts were missing."
"Werewolf?" Dean asked confused.
"The claw marks were too precise for a werewolf and the moon phase is not adding up, either. With the victims after these, though, the bodies had bite marks on them and were drained completely of blood."
"Vampire?" Dean frowned. The case was getting more confusing for him.
"It seems" Sam nodded again. "But here's the interesting part. The last three victims had both of these marks."
"Both?" Dean now sent a disbelieving look towards his brother. "What's this? 'Children of the Darkness' Convention?"
Harry and Sam suppressed a grin at the remark.
"I don't know, but we're better be careful" Sam closed his laptop and put it away. That was when they passed the sign of the town. Soon Dean pulled into a motel's parking lot and hurried away to get a room. Since this place was more decent than the brothers ever stayed in, Dean got a room with two double beds with a wall separating them and with a TV in each. They took their stuff inside then sat down in the kitchen area to have dinner and discuss the case. Finally they prepared their weapons for the hunt and decided to get some rest, so they could start the night with clear heads.
Dean was watching Kyle's peaceful expression, his mind already forgetting the low hum of the television. The light of the screen, chasing away the darkness from the room, shone down onto the boy's features. Dean woke not too long ago and decided to pass the last few minutes with watching TV, but his worry towards Kyle wouldn't leave him alone.
Suddenly the clock on the nightstand began screeching, signing the time to get up. Dean quickly silenced the eardrum-bursting sound that cut through the pleasant silence of the room like a saber. Kyle stretched out with a quiet groan then sat up. He lifted his arms above his head, stretching once more; Dean watched with interest as the boy's T-shirt slid up from his waist, revealing the slowly darkening skin. The man carefully caressed the bare lower back and Kyle turned to him with a smile.
Meanwhile, in the next room the occupants began stirring, as well, as the sharp sound of the clock reached them. Waking up Sam tightened his hold on his lover, who stroked the young man's chest then lifted himself up. Sam watched with a grin, as Harry started stretching like a cat then pulling the boy closer he gave him a gentle kiss. Harry responded sleepily then stroked his lover's unruly locks. Sam did the same with Harry's sleep-ruffled but curlier tresses.
"Morning, gorgeous" Sam murmured, causing Harry to chuckle.
"More like 'Evening', don't you think?" he asked. Sam blushed slightly at his mistake but ignoring it he sat up with Harry in his lap. The boy pressed another kiss onto his lover's lips then with a reluctant groan stood up. They quickly got their stuff together then gathered at the entrance to drive to the forest. Reaching the trees Dean handed out the flashlights and checked their weapons. Finally, they ventured into the darkness.
As they walked further into the forest, all of them inspected their surroundings with a bad feeling, watching out for possible threats. The forest reminded Harry of the Forbidden Forest at the wizarding school, full of dangerous magical creatures, so he jumped and gasped at every little noise. However, the beam of his flashlight never fell onto anything but tree-trunks and bushes.
"Harry, you okay?" Sam asked beside the boy with worry. Harry nodded, but gulped nervously, holding his knife in a deadly grip.
"Are you sure you want to go through this?" Dean joined in, hearing the question.
"Yes" Harry replied a bit rigidly. The brothers left him at that and they continued the walk. They hadn't reached too far when Harry heard a noise again. Spinning around he just caught the shadow flitting away, the steps fading away. Harry instantly shot after it, thinking it was the attacker.
"Harry!" Sam shouted in fright, when he noticed the boy disappearing amongst the trees. "Come back!" before he could dash after him, though, his brother grabbed him. "Are you crazy?" he turned back angrily.
"Harry can take care of himself" Dean said, trying to calm his brother. "He's one of the strongest wizards…"
"… who just recovered from a massive trauma!" Sam finished his brother's sentence with a raised voice. "Who knows how he's gonna react to being alone in the dark?"
Dean's expression visibly changed as he understood Sam's worry, but before he could speak up, another set of steps passed by them. Turning that way their eyes widened.
"Kyle!" Dean shouted and both of them hurried after the boy, who was running after Harry. Their forms, shadows and voices were swallowed by the darkness.
Tiring out Harry stopped and leaned onto his knees, trying to catch his breath. After a few moments he straightened up and brushed his bangs out of his eyes. He cautiously looked around, but he didn't see anyone or anything: the shadow just disappeared. As his gasps evened out, he noticed his surroundings and the silence around him. Breaking through the stifling darkness with his flashlight he glanced around himself nervously. The steps and shouts behind him had faded into nothing already.
Suddenly a twig snapped behind him and he spun around: his terrified scream stabbed through the darkness embracing the trees.
"HARRY!" Sam bellowed in fear as he heard the scream and he began running in full speed with his brother into the correct way. Soon they found Kyle's frozen form, who was staring in the way of the beam of his flashlight. The brothers hurried to him but they were halted by the sight: Harry's flashlight was lying on the ground, lighting up the thin grass and the tree roots that were above the ground. Sam stepped to the object and kneeling down he picked it up with a shaking hand. He turned to the others with a desperate look and finally saw Kyle's face: tears were glinting on his cheeks and great fear reflected in his eyes. Dean snapped out of his shock and embraced the unresponsive boy.
"Don't you ever do this again!" he whispered into Kyle's ear brokenly. "You scared me to death…" Kyle barely noticeably nodded, but his gaze was still stuck to the point where the flashlight had been on the ground. Dean carefully turned the boy's head away and tightened his hold and finally Kyle responded to that. Sam then switched Harry's flashlight off and jumping to his feet he pocketed it.
"We have to find him" he told to the others then gathering themselves and their thoughts they continued walking in the way where they were headed. They were walking for quite a while, when a playful female voice halted their steps:
"Hello, boys!"
They looked around but couldn't see anyone.
"Show yourself!" Dean ordered firmly. A small giggle was the reply then from behind a tree a small form stepped out. The moon could finally peek in through the thick foliage and its light fell onto the figure: a girl was standing in front of them, her hair black like her jeans, top and leather jacket, her face pale in the silver light, which reflected in deep brown eyes.
"What a pleasure to see you again!" she grinned mockingly.
"Meg!" Sam growled, gritting his teeth.
"Hey, Sammy" with that the girl's eyes flickered in black, indicating who the hunters were up against.
"Where's Harry?" Sam snarled, the flashlight flickering in his hand.
"Well" Meg shrugged, with her mocking, almost evil grin still intact, "now that you asked so nicely…" she reached behind the tree beside her, which had given her a hideout before, and yanked another figure out from behind it.
"Harry" Sam breathed in fear. The boy looked up at them.
"Sam!" he started forward, but Meg wrenched him back and with a quick movement she held a knife to her captive's throat, forcing the boy's head back. The others, who stepped forward at the harsh treatment angrily, halted now. A second later a gun clicked between the brothers: Kyle trained his gun onto the demon without any hesitation or tremble in his aim.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't shoot you now!" the boy said coldly. It seemed Meg was impressed by the threat because she nodded approvingly.
"You want a reason?" she asked silently. She let go of the knife, which stayed at Harry's neck, still keeping the boy at bay. She then turned her head upwards and opened her mouth. As the black smoke started creeping out of the body, Harry cried out in pain: blood dribbled down his throat from the blade of the knife.
"ENOUGH!" Sam shouted; he saw that the knife moved on its own to take its victim's life. At last Meg closed her mouth and swallowed then pulled her captive back into her arms. She chuckled triumphantly when she saw that Kyle lowered his gun. Sam then noticed the ropes on Harry's wrists, black as the eyes of the regular demons, and the slightly twisted arms and the protruding ends of the wrist-bones.
"Let him go!" he ordered the demon, but she just tutted at him.
"What's the fun in that?" Meg shook her head. "For each of our meeting I make huge plans so we can have a great time. What's exciting about throwing those plans out? And besides" Meg caressed Harry's locks with the tip of the knife, "you shouldn't let such a beautiful creature out of your hands." Harry's tears broke free and he began visibly shaking. "What a shame that slave-trade is illegal" the demon mused. Her captive sobbed out loud hearing that. "I would get a lot of money for such a rare fruit from the Tree of Families. Although" Meg's smirk widened slightly "there's always prostitution…"
"NO!" Harry screamed. "Please, no! Just not that!"
"What's wrong, honey? Prodded a sore spot?" Meg petted the boy, and caressed the boy's injured, porcelain-white neck gently still with the tip of the knife. Harry gulped in fear and tried to calm himself down.
Sam, Dean and Kyle could only watch the scene silently: they couldn't breathe from the terror and the pain to see their friend tortured that cruelly. Sam could barely keep himself strong enough to not shed tears for his lover. Keeping their gaze on Harry, they never saw what was coming to them.
Suddenly Kyle cried out in fright: the brothers snapped their gazes that way and saw the boy in another demon's hold. The man was one of the remaining missing people.
"NO!" Dean shouted and started towards the man, but Sam held him back. Kyle struggled to get free, but his captor was stronger than him, even without the extra strength, so he calmed down, holding onto the arm around his neck.
"What do you want from us?" Dean snarled turning back to Meg.
"You'll find out" Meg answered quietly. At that moment five more demons jumped out from amongst the trees and attacked the brothers. Fighting with one demon, Dean saw his brother exorcising two demons with his magic, when out of the blue he was struck by a heavy object and he crumpled onto the ground unconsciously.
Dean slowly emerged back to consciousness. The pain was drilling into his skill and it just intensified when he tried to stand up. Finally he fought it down enough to open his eyes then he stumbled onto his feet with his flashlight he found during his inner struggle. Looking around he saw that he was on the same place where they met Meg, only now he was under the trees, not on the clearing. Then everything came back to him and he hastily looked around: the others had disappeared. He hurriedly checked himself for possible injuries, but aside the pulsing bump on the back of his head he was unharmed. He immediately began looking for the others.
