AN: As I said in the last chapter, this chapter will contain a little bit from Saints Row 2, and a little bit from Saints Row: The Third. Then the rest of the story will take place around the events of Saints Row: The Third. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!
Chapter Two: A Break Out And Reunion Part I
SOME ODD YEARS LATER
Matthew Black was now a successful doctor living in a big enough loft inside of the safe part of Steelport, if there was such a thing. After years of hard work, late nights, and working hard in getting the best education that he can, he finally managed to get out of the world that was Stillwater. All of that work that he put himself through might have taken a while, years even, but it was worth it to get away from the Brotherhood, Ronin, and Samedi that took over Stillwater. Now, all he could do was take in his big home and the part of Steelport that he lived in. It was a safe, nice, and oddly enough, quiet day as he was lounging around his loft, wearing nothing but his pajama bottoms as he was watching TV late at night.
Something felt strange to him though, and he could not put his finger on it. He brushed it off as being just a bad feeling. Well, as he turned on the news and saw Jane Valderama, Matt got his answer.
"The leader of the Saints, has awaken." Jane Valderama said. Matt literally felt his heart jump into his throat as he saw the report come up. He turned up the volume just as Jane continued.
"Brooke Locker and fellow inmate Carlos Mendosa cut a bloody path through security guards as they escaped inland, heading towards Stillwater. Just what does the leader of the Third Street Saints have in mind for Stillwater, only one can guess. This is Jane Valderama, Channel 6 news."
Matt turned off the TV, and ran a hand through his orange hair. That was...well, wild. Brooke broke out of Stillwater, and now she was on the loose. What in the hell was she going to do now?
"Well, at least Johnny Gat is in jail." Matt said with a sigh of relief. Johnny Gat was awaiting sentencing for over 300 murders and was supposed to get his sentence tommorow. Then something clicked in his mind.
"Wait, Brooke wouldn't, would she?" Matt asked his own self in a frightened tone.
She would. Of fucking course she would.
Matt was at his office, listening to the radio broadcast of news, and heard the news of a female breaking out Johnny Gat, and killing a lot of guards as they escaped the courthouse. Of course, thanks to Stillwater's finest, which he meant in a really sarcastic tone of voice or thought, they not only managed to escape in a cop car, but managed to evade the cops all together. How in the hell is that possible. It can be when Troy is the Chief of Police, he thought but that thought was wiped from his mind as another frightening thought entered his mind.
Matt did not know what frightened him more, the fact that Brooke broke out of prison a few days earlier, the fact that she got Johnny Gat out of jail as well, or the fact that he was not surprised that she would do something like this. Matt sighed, and turned off the radio and went back to work. This meant that the Saints were back, and they were going to rise to power once again. That could mean anything. It was not going to be a good 'anything', of course.
The great thing about this was Matt was in Steelport now, and Brooke was in Stillwater with the rest of the gangs. Sure there was the Deckers, Morningstar, and Luchadores, but Matt never had a run in with them. Matt wondered what Brooke and the rest of the 3rd Street Saints were up to and when they were going to fully take over. Matt also wondered secretly when he was going to meet his friend, Brooke Locker, once again.
It's funny. Matt has gotten used to seeing the funniest, and weirdest shit while living in Steelport. Gimps walking around freely in the street, mascots fucking in the alleys, the crap the Deckers wear to name a few. He was not 100% used to seeing those things, but it was not uncommon that he could see all of those things and he could go on about his day and not want to bat an eye once all of those things were happening.
Then one night, it happened.
Matt happened to be driving downtown, and he happened to lean out of his window, and looked up. There was various cars and, well, this being Steelport, mind you, almost everything else you can even imagine was falling down towards Steelport. Matt quickly got his car out of dodge, and quickly drove home. Needless to say, he stayed in his home for the rest of the night, and did not move from his home. He did not even watch the news that night. Why would he anyway? It was because he knew immediately and without question who was responsible.
Brooke and the Third Street Saints were back, and they were in Steelport.
AN: I know that it has been a while, and this story was sort of all over the place, but I wanted to get the introduction out of the way, and set up the story. It will begin in chapter three, and both Brooke and Matt get re-introduced to each other, in a less than desireable way. Trust me, they are in for a treat...
