This is just a quick fic, about what I think should happen in tonight's episode. Hope you like it. It's keeping me going until later :)

The today was the day Max and Zoe had to face all of the question from their friends.

After kissing In the ED reception the pair had headed to the boat, everything everybody wanted to know would have to wait for the next day.

Now unfortunately for Max and Zoe tomorrow had become today. Max rolled over to face Zoe and pushed the little bit of hair that has fallen in front of eye back behind her ear.

"Morning beautiful."

"Morning, what time is it."

"Just gone half 8."

"Oh all good then we have ages."

"Indeed we do," Max lifted his body slightly so he was able to hold himself over Zoe."

"Seriously is that all you ever think about."

"No, but you seem to have this funny affect."

"Oh do I know." And she rolled over with Max switching positions.

After getting down to business as they both knew full well that Dylan had all ready gone to work.

As they lay close to each other. Max's arm around Zoe and her head on his chest, the door opened and in trotted Dervla. She jumped up onto the bed and processed to try and lay in between Max and Zoe. Once this approach failed she lay straight across them instead.

"Well this isn't awkward at all."

"She could have walked in earlier. Now that would have been worse."

"True, gosh she's bloody heavy."

Just then they heard the door open.

"Think Dylan's home."

"Dylan." Zoe shouted

"What" he asked as he poked his head around the door.

"Get the dog off of us."

"But she looks so comfy."

"Well I'm glad she is."

"Maybe if you two hadn't been still in bed when your shifts start in less than 15 minutes you'd be okay."

"Shit."

"Just get her off us please."

"Dervla" she jumped down and followed Dylan into the living area.

And with that Max and Zoe got quickly out of bed and through on work clothes, Zoe then did her hair and makeup with some help from Max. Once they were all ready they had just 3 minutes to get into work.

As they pulled safely into the car park, they kissed goodbye and Max walked hastily into work. Zoe on the other hand needed to think, her decision yesterday was a spur of the moment, now she needed time to think about how she was going to approach the whole event with her friends and colleagues. She still had no idea, who or how many people had seen. The person she was least looking forward to seeing was connie. She knew that she had seen but was still yet to learn how she felt about the idea of a consultant dating a porter.

She took a deep breath, got out of the car and made her way to the ED doors , through the glass she could see Max surrounded by a little crowd that seem to be growing by the minute, time to face the music, the doors opened and she walked in a sea of face turned in her direction. It's now or never.
