As her shift went on Zoe didn't really have a big case to get her teeth into so took a break. She headed for Max's office and pushed the door handle down.
As she entered she realised that Max was asleep. She walked over and tapped him in the shoulder.
"Shit!"
"Scare you did I."
"I was sleeping."
"Yeah and."
"Am in needed."
"Nope."
"Then why did you need to disturb me."
"I'm bored and in need of your company."
"Aww I feel privileged."
"So you should." Max pushed himself up in the chair and Zoe sat on his lap. He moved the hair that had fallen into her face and planted a kiss on her lips.
"What did connie have to say earlier."
"Nothing surprising, she didn't seem to have a problem with us being together."
"That's a shocker, but it's good for us though."
"It is indeed." Zoe lay her head back slightly and pulled Max's towards her. Their lips joined and and then their bodies followed suit.
There was a knock at the door, they both rushed around gathering their various items of clothing that had been sprawled over the floor.
"One minute."
"Max, what are you doing." Robyn asked through the locked door. The handle started to move.
"Whys the door locked."
"No reason."
"Max seriously is Zoe in there with you."
"Shit." Zoe had spoken a little to loud.
"Zoe, what are you two doing, oh actually I don't want to know."
They were finally dressed and Max opened the door.
"Alright sis."
"You two are unbelievably."
"Sorry, but whatever you do don't tell connie."
"Okay I won't but come on, a cupboard so original."
"It's my office actually." Max put in.
Robyn looked at Zoe confused.
"Don't ask."
Robyn walked back towards the ED and Max shut the door again.
"This has got to stop."
"Excuse me, your the one who came to me."
"And, your leading me astray again Mr walker."
The pair walked out of the cupboard and headed hand in hand down to the ED.
"I love you Zoe."
"I love you too."
