As he walked down the highway, Mask was stopped by a male teen. "Dude, are you okay?" The teen asked. "You look hurt."

"I'm fine, just had a run-in with a door." "No, man. I mean, you look like you need a hospital. There's blood all over you." Mask suddenly stopped and turned to the teen.

"No, there's blood all over you."

"What?" Mask grabbed the teen by the arms and ripped them off. Then, he grabbed him by his head, and pulled up. The teen's head came off, including the spine. "Fa-fucking-tality," Mask said. He threw the body and limbs into a ditch alongside the highway. Mask the turned around and continued his journey.

Nikki was sitting with Dmitri in a park. "So, you also battled him? And you tackled him?" Dmitri asked him.

"I know, I can't believe it either. But you, oh, you tried to choke him out."

"So, there's nothing wrong with that." They both started to laugh. "Anyways," Dmitri continued, "we need to find Vladimir and Alexi. Because both of them are next."

"Yeah, I know that. But where are they?"

Mask reached the city, finding a bathroom to rest in. When he walked in, there was a couple having sex in there. They didn't have time to stop and pull out because Mask thrust his hand through both of their torsos. "Fuckers," he muttered to himself. After he rejuvenated, he found a phone book and found both Alexi Szemborkski and Vladimir Blazekovich. Mask decided to visit Alexi first, since he was closer.

Dmitri and Nikki were asking around for the addresses of their friends. When they got an address, they got into Dmitri's car and drove to the house.

Mask walked up the drive and kicked down the front door. He heard no screams, so he assumed no one was home. As he looked around, he heard a noise coming from the closet. Mask went to the kitchen and grabbed the biggest knife in there. He went back to the closet, opened it up, and found a cat in there. Mask stabbed and skinned the cat, laying the skin onto the kitchen table. He couldn't find anyone else, so he left.

Dmitri and Nikki pulled over in front of a big house. "Is this the place?" Nikki asked.

"Yeah, it is. They said it would be big," Dmitri answered. They both got out of the car and went up to knock on the door. Before they got to the steps, the door opened and a young man came out, pointing a shotgun at the two of them.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're friends," Nikki told the man. All three of them stood there, not moving. Then, an older man came out of the house.

"Dmitri, Nikki. Welcome." He went up to them and hugged them.

"Hello, Vladimir. How've you been?" Dmitri asked him.

"Very well. I see you've met my son."

"Yeah, he seems very… nice." Nikki said. The son was still holding the gun, just lowered. "Listen, Vlad, you have to get out of here. The Man in the Mask is coming here." Vladimir grew a worried look on his face.

"I kinda… know that. Alexi's house was broken into and his cat was skinned. Yeah, his wife came home and found the skin." They stood in silence for a minute. "So, where would we go?"

Dmitri thought for a second, and then said "We could go down to Missouri. My son lives down there and would love to see you guys again."

"Wait," Nikki said, "wasn't your son just in town last night?"

"Yeah, he just wanted to make sure that his father was safe."

This time, Vladimir spoke "Wouldn't we lure him down there?" Nikki and Dmitri shrugged.

"We would have weapons, like guns and such," Dmitri said.

"Then it's settled! Vladimir, go pack your bags, we're going down to Missouri!" Nikki exclaimed. All four of them went inside.

Mask arrived at a cemetery, and went to a grave. On the grave, the name Lucifer Nighthawk was carved into it. Mask muttered some words, and the gravestone caught fire. As it burned, Mask backed up a little bit. Suddenly, someone came out of the fire. There, stood a man in a red suit. He had dark wings, horns, a Hell Trident, and a bottle of Vodka. "What's up, Mask?" Lucifer asked him.

"I need some sort of tracking device to hunt these men down. Also, if you don't mind, maybe the ability to shoot fire out of my hands and more stamina?" Mask asked him.

"Yeah, yeah, sure. You got it. But, you need to kill five more people to gain the ability to become the fucking human torch. Here's your tracking device." He said, tossing something to Mask. "And you should have more stamina. Before you go, I need to talk to you. I know I'm your friend," Lucifer said, "but dude, can you just stop trying to steal my girls?"

"I'm not even trying. I'm kind of busy to be doing that. I think Mark is the one doing that. Some of my stuff goes missing." Lucifer stepped back into the fire and vanished. The fire went out and there wasn't a mark on the headstone.

"Mark really needs to get laid," Mask stated, and left.

Remembering what his friend said, Mask went off to find a local gas station. After the incident with Nikolas, Mask went back to the break room and picked up his matches again, in case he needed them later on. It's a good thing I went back for these he thought as he lit a gas trail on fire. The flame followed the trail towards the tanks, making the whole gas station explode. Mask was in the blast radius, his clothes catching on fire. The flames did nothing as he brushed them off, heading towards the convenience store. He walked through the flames, only to find that there were only two people having their faces melt off. Mask shook his head, and went back outside, looking for more victims.

Nikki, Dmitri, and Vladimir all got into the car. Dmitri started up the car, only to find out it was dead. "Fuck. Vladimir, do you have jumper cables?"

"Yeah, let me get them real quick." Vladimir got out of the car and went into his garage. Once they got the car running again, and Vladimir got in, they took off towards Missouri.

They got onto a freeway and drove for a few hours. Then, the complaining started. They all whined about being uncomfortable and being hungry. Finally, Dmitri got onto an off-ramp and into a gas station. All of them got out and stretched their legs, while Dmitri filled up the car. "Gas is expensive in America," Dmitri said.

"Well, yeah, that's what happens when they start wars in the Middle East," Vladimir told him.

"Hey, guys, I found a McDonalds across the street. We can eat there," Nikki told them. Dmitri finished filling the car up, and drove over to the restaurant.

Mask arrived at Vladimir's house, and saw a young man approach him with a shotgun. The man rushed towards him, and fired at close range. Mask absorbed the pellets. He then grabbed the gun and shot Vladimir's son in the head. His head flew everywhere, leaving his body falling to the ground hard. Mask threw the gun and proceeded to enter the house.

Vladimir's wife was hiding under a bed when she was slaughtered. Her guts were thrown all over the bed, her arms were tied up on the ceiling fan, her legs were shoved onto coat hangers, and her head was put into a large jar. Her torso was shredded and fed to the dog outside.

"Guys, I have a weird feeling in my stomach," Vladimir said as they got back onto the freeway.

"It's probably those five cheeseburgers you ate. That was a lot," Nikki responded.

"No, it's not that," Vladimir went on, "it's like, I feel like something is happening to my family."

"Vlad, their fine. I sent some men to guard the house while you're gone," Dmitri told him.

Mask left Vladimir's yard covered in blood. All of the bodies were dragged into the house and positioned in some way. Some were dismembered; others were hung over the kitchen table. One was laid down and put into a sitting position by the front door. Mask left Vladimir's house and walked into the empty street. He looked at the tracking device and saw that three dots were moving on a major freeway. One dot was pacing an office building downtown, so Mask went there first. As he walked, he was humming a dark tune to himself.

The car finally entered St. Louis and pulled into a gas station. Dmitri got out of the car and called his son. Nikki and Vladimir sat in the car, tuning the radio to a specific station. They found a station they both liked, and sat back. As they waited for Dmitri to get back into the car, Nikki asked Vladimir some questions. "What have you've been doing since you moved here?"

"Well, I found a nice job as an educator in World History in a high school. The students can be loud, but they hang onto every word that I say in class."

"Okay, well why did you move here?"

Vladimir thought for a second, then said "Same reason you moved here, to get away from the cold." Before Nikki could retaliate, Dmitri got back into the car.

"I found out where he's living," Dmitri announced.

"That's neat. Now, could we go there before The Man in the Mask finds us?" Nikki asked. Dmitri turned the car on and left.

Mask arrived at the office, only to find out that the doors were locked. He kicked them down with ease. He began to search the offices, killing anyone he finds. When he can't find Alexi, he goes outside to test his new power. The building catches fire with ease. As it burns down, he sees a dot on his tracker moving south. "Perfect."

Vladimir's cell phone rings in his pocket. He answers it to find out it was Alexi. "Hey, where are you guys going? Wait for me," was all Alexi said. Vladimir had a confused look on his face.

"Who was that?" Dmitri asked.

"That was Alexi. He said to wait for him," Vladimir answered.

Mask found himself engulfed in the flames, then in a world full of fire. "Hell," he said. Lucifer walked up to him and they shook hands.

"Hey, man, what're you up to down here?" Lucifer asked Mask.

"I need to teleport to St. Louis. Now," Mask demanded.

"Okay, let me check your body count… and you have enough for teleportation and possession. Congratulations, you've just qualified for our Frequent Upgraders Club!" Lucifer announced joyfully. Mask rolled his eyes.

"Fine, sign me up. Just get me those upgrades." Lucifer snapped his fingers and Mask felt something tingling inside him. Both of the powers made him feel something inside of him, as he was used to getting one power at a time. As Mask was being upgraded, Lucifer brought over an entire bottle of Scotch and poured it into two cups.

"Drink up," he told Mask, "you're gonna need all the strength you've got to finish this mission." Once Mask was done getting his powers, he downed his drink in two gulps and left. "Dude," Lucifer said, "that was impossible to do that. No one can drink half a bottle of Scotch in two gulps." A man scoffed at him. Lucifer snapped his fingers, and the man exploded.

Dmitri, Nikki, and Vladimir arrived at a large house. "Friends, this is where my son lives." Nikki and Vladimir were in awe.

"I had no idea your son was rich," Nikki said.

"And I thought my house was big." Vladimir muttered. Dmitri's son opened the door and walked out, greeting everyone.

"Hey, everyone. Nice to see you again."

Mask exited the ball of flames to see that he ended up in a large cemetery. He looked at a sign posted on a board that read "Welcome to the St. Louis Cemetery for the Fallen. Please no littering or skateboarding." Mask tore the sign off, crumpled it up, and set it on fire as he walked out. He was finally about to complete his mission.
