Chapter Ten: Sleepovers and Eavesdroppers
Tenten knocked at the Hyuga Mansion, today was the sleepover and Ino said to be there at exactly 6:30 which she obeyed knowing Ino's wrath.
The door opened and revealed the most handsome man Tenten ever laid her eyes on, Neji Hyuga. Her heart did a little flip at the sight of her boyfriend in a plain white t-shirt and blue khaki short. No matter what he wears, he still breathtakingly handsome.
She smiled at him and he smiled back. He suddenly grabs her by the waist and captured her lips. Tenten dropped her overnight bag in shock but respond to his kisses by putting her arms around his neck.
"You don't know how those lips of yours affect me." He murmured between kisses. She giggled and soared for his lips which made the Hyuga grin.
A scream was heard and the couple parted like the other was on fire. They saw a little girl that looks like Hinata looking at them with a shock and wonder; she looks like she's ten or nine. Tenten was blushing furiously and hide her face on her boyfriend's shoulder. Neji glared daggers at his little cousin for embarrassing Tenten and for interrupting their little moment.
"Hanabi, what are you doing here?" Neji snapped but the said girl ignored him and walk towards Tenten.
"Hi! Are you Neji-nii-san's girlfriend? I'm Hanabi Hyuga, Neji-nii-san's cousin, nice to meet you!" the little girl babbled. Tenten smiled hesitantly while blushing. This girl is the opposite of her sister and it makes Tenten uncomfortable and at the same time amused.
"H-Hello! Yes, I'm Neji's girlfriend; my name is Tenten Uchiha, nice to meet you too." She said as Hanabi squealed when she said she was Neji's girlfriend. "Is Hinata your sister? I'm sorry if you saw us in… an intimate position." Tenten said sheepishly while rubbing the back of her head.
"No, no, it's okay and yes, I'm Hinata-nee-chan's sister. About time Neji-nii-san got a girlfriend." Hanabi said and pulled her inside. Oh cool, she's starting to like the new found Hyuga.
Neji sigh in irritation as he grab Tenten's overnight bag before following them.
"Did you know that you're the first girl he ever brought here in the mansion?" Hanabi babbled not caring if Neji is glaring at her back. If looks could kill, Hanabi would have been dead by now but seeing as the young Hyuga doesn't care means she's immune to it.
"Oh? Uh, Hanabi, I'm actually here for Hinata, we're having a sleepover." Tenten said; Hanabi suddenly stops on her track making Tenten, who was just behind her, stumbled backward. Neji grab her shoulders and growled at Hanabi.
"He didn't invite you here?" Tenten shook her head and smiled at Neji who returned her smile before glaring back at his inquisitor of a cousin; Hanabi sigh in frustration. "What a loser. Come, I'll take you to Hinata-nee-chan's room." Neji grunted and mumbled something not pleasant about Hanabi making Tenten glare at her boyfriend. Neji snorts and rolled his eyes.
"How old are you, Hanabi?" Tenten asked; ignoring Neji's tantrums. Jeez, so much for a mature boyfriend.
"I'm ten years old. Oh please, let's not talk about myself; let's talk about you and my cousin. I like you, Tenten-nee-chan as a girlfriend of my cousin of course." Hanabi kept on babbling not that Tenten mind, she actually like talking to Hanabi.
"Thank you, Hanabi." She said and smiled at her new found friend.
They arrived at Hinata's room and Hanabi knocked. After a few seconds, Hinata answered and beamed when she saw Tenten.
"Hey!" Tenten greeted with a wave. She leaned forward and saw Temari reading a magazine. "What's up, Tem!" Temari greeted back with a wave and a grin.
"Hello, Tenten-chan, come in. Oh Hanabi, thank you for accompanying her here." She smiled at her sister who grinned back.
"My pleasure, she's fun to talk to. I'll see you later, Tenten-nee-chan!" Hanabi said and walked away.
"I already like your sister, Hinata." Tenten said and grinned up to her.
Tenten was about to get in when someone grab her by the waist and pulled her out. She turned and looked to see Neji looking grim as always.
"H-Hey." She stammered as she tried to gain her balance.
"Neji-nii-san?" Hinata asked. Neji threw Tenten's bag at Hinata who caught.
"I'll just talk to Tenten." He said and with that Neji dragged Tenten into a room next to Hinata's. He closed the door and turned back to her.
"W-What's up?" She asked; he pulled her into a hug and kissed her forehead.
"Sorry about Hanabi." He started and sighs. Tenten chuckled and leaned her head on his chest.
"Oh don't worry. I like talking to Hanabi; she's fun to be with." She said and smiled at him making Neji catch his breath. She has that effect to him.
"More fun than me?" he asked and frowned. Tenten chuckled softly and kissed his frowning lips.
"Do I hear jealousy there?" Tenten teased and nudge his side making him jump a little. He smirked and cups her face. He stared lovingly into her doe eyes.
"Is that was this is all about? Pulling me into your room just to say sorry?" she asked.
"I love you." He whispered. Tenten froze and stares at her boyfriend with wide eyes and mouth forming an 'o'. It was the first time he said those words to her and it really did shock her. Neji chuckled and kissed her open mouth.
"What? Is that really surprising? That is what I'm planning to tell you before Hanabi arrived." He asked; Tenten slowly smiled and tackled him into a hug.
"You really love me? You know, like you really, really love me. Not like but love?" She felt Neji nodded; she looked up to see his face. O my gods, The Neji Hyuga love her!
"I love you too." She whispered back. He brought down his face and started kissing her again. She put her arms around his neck and pulled him to her. Neji groaned and deepened the kiss. But for the nth time they were interrupted by a loud knock on his door.
"NEJI HYUGA! GIVE TENTEN BACK TO US OR ELSE WE WILL BRING DOWN YOUR DOOR!" Ino yelled while really banging his door.
"Uh, Ino-chan, I have his door keys here. No need to bang the door." They heard Hinata said.
"Hinata, don't ruin the moment. I wanted to bang his door ever since the day I stepped into your house." Ino explained. They heard a slapped and an 'ow'.
Neji sigh. "We always get interrupt." Tenten giggled and kiss him lightly on his lips before opening the door.
When she opened the door, she was greeted by Ino's kick. It stopped a few inches at her face. She gulped and shivered. She felt Neji behind her and pulled her to the side. Hinata and Sakura were struggling to keep Ino in balance or else they all fall down.
"Uh, hi?" Sakura said and laughs nervously when she saw Neji's glare. Hinata shifted a little making the three falls down. Grunts and moans were heard from the group.
"What do you think you are doing?" Neji asked in an annoyed tone. Tenten winced at the harshness of her boyfriend's tone. She helped the others but since the floor was slippery she got pulled down too making her squeal.
"Oops, sorry." Sakura said and smiled apologetically at her but vanished when she saw Neji's death glare. She gulped and backed away slowly.
Neji grabbed his girlfriend's arm and pulled her up, same thing with his cousin leaving the other two behind. Tenten glared at her boyfriend for being rude and helped the other two.
"Where's Temari?" Tenten asked; Ino pointed at Hinata's room.
"She's reading a magazine. She doesn't want to get involve with Ino's rampage." Sakura said. Tenten nodded and turns back to Neji.
"I'll see you later over dinner, alright?" Neji's gaze turned soft when he turns to her. He nodded and gave Tenten a quick peck on her lips before going back to his chamber and slamming the door.
When the girls entered Hinata's room, Ino bombarded her with questions.
"What did he do to you? Did he force you to have sex with him? Is it good?" Ino suddenly asked making Tenten and Hinata blushed furiously.
"What kind of question is that, Ino-pig?" Sakura said while throwing a pillow at her face which Ino caught and throw back at Sakura.
"What?" Ino asked innocently then stares at Tenten. "Spill, Tennie, what did you two do?"
Tenten smiled tenderly when she remembered what Neji told her. Ino, Sakura, Temari and Hinata looks at each other and back at Tenten.
"He… He told me that he LOVE me." She said making all the girls squeal in delight.
"Oh my lazy ass, really?" Temari asked with wide eyes; making Sakura and Ino sweat dropped at the 'lazy ass' part and Tenten nodded.
"You go, girl! You snuck your way right into the ice king's heart, shanaro!" Sakura exclaimed while pumping her fist on the air. Hinata and Ino high fived each other and gave Tenten a quick hug.
A knock from the door interrupted them; Hinata stood up and opened it to reveal a maid.
"Hinata-sama, Neji-sama said that dinner will be ready in five minutes." She said as she bowed her head.
"Oh, thank you, we'll be down there." Hinata said; the maid bowed again before walking away.
"So, I guess dinner is ready?" Ino asked; Hinata nodded.
"Ah!" Ino sigh softly as she dips her body at the sauna. After dinner, they decided to go take a bath at the bath house before resuming their sleepover.
"I wonder what the boys are doing right now." Temari suddenly said. "But knowing Shikamaru, he's probably sleeping right now." The other nodded and chuckled.
"Hey, later let's play truth or dare and I have never!" Ino suggested.
"Ugh, no way." Sakura said as she dips her head at the water.
"What, forehead? Are you too chicken to play that game?" Ino taunted.
"You're on, Ino pig." Sakura suddenly said. Temari grinned at Tenten before agreeing to it.
Neji opened his window when he heard a loud tap. He saw Naruto with Kiba on a branch tree near his window and Sasuke and Shikamaru at the bush looking cool as ever.
"Why, Juliet, aren't you going to let us in?" Sasuke mocked making Neji glare at his fellow ice cube. He opened the window wider and Kiba and Naruto crawled in. Sasuke stares at Shikamaru and smirk.
"What a drag, you want us to climb when you could easily open the door to your front porch?" The lazy genius said. Neji smirked at him.
"Hn. Temari is watching T.V at the living room with the other girls unless you want to get caught." He said making Sasuke chuckled at Shikamaru's horrified face.
"Mendokusai, what are you waiting for, Uchiha? Get your petty ass up the tree before they find us." Shikamaru grumbled; Sasuke shrugged, normally he would have retorted something back but when he heard the other girls he save it for later.
"Sakura, I swear I heard something outside." He heard his sister say and climb faster.
"Tennie, maybe it was just your imagination." Sakura said; Neji grab Sasuke's collar when he's near the window and literally drag him in. Shikamaru jump up to grab a branch and swing his body up.
"Temari, can you check it up?" Sakura asked; Shikamaru's eyes widened and climb faster.
"Faster, you lazy ass!" Neji hissed; Shikamaru growled and jump towards the window with a loud thud making Shikamaru winced in pain as he hangs at Neji's window.
"Oooh, that's got to hurt," Sasuke said as he poke his head on the window.
"Oh shut up!" Shikamaru hissed as he tried to pull his body up but he lack exercise so he was just hanging on Neji's window.
"I heard a thud! What is it?" Ino asked; Temari shrugged.
"I'll check it out, Tennie, want to come?" Tenten nodded and both headed for the door.
"Help me up, you jerks!" Shikamaru hissed; Neji and Sasuke sneered at him before pulling him up at the same time Tenten and Temari opened the door.
"There's nothing here." Tenten said; Temari nodded.
"Maybe it was just a raccoon." Hinata said behind them.
"Yeah, maybe you're right. Let's go and play Truth or Dare!" Ino said and they all rushed to Hinata's room.
"Phew, that was close!" Sasuke said and turns towards Naruto who is fumbling an electronic device.
"What's that?" Neji asked as he sat down on his bed.
"It's a spy gear." Kiba answered. "Did you put the microphone at Hinata's window?" the Hyuga Prodigy nodded.
"Well, let's get started then!" Naruto exclaimed earning a grunt from the two ice cubes, a 'yippee' from the dog lover and a snore from the sleeping lazy genius.
Naruto pressed a red button and the device made a wheezing sound before they heard the giggles of the girls.
They all listened carefully.
Ino: So, Temari what do you think of this hairstyle?
Temari: You look like a kid, Ino. *snort*
Ino: *humph* whatever, hey Sakura want me to do your hair?
Sakura: I just combed it!
Ino: Non sense! Hinata, throw me the brush, will you?
Hinata: Here! *whoosh, thud*
Ino: Ow! That hurts! When I said throw me the brush, I didn't mean literally. Jeez Hina.
Hinata: Sorry!
Kiba looks at the device with worry.
"Don't worry, dog breath, Ino is fine." Naruto said as he rolled his eyes at his friend. Kiba glared at him before returning back to the device.
Sakura: Ouch! Ino you're so heavy! Get off me! *thud*
Ino: Ugh! I keep on getting hit! I will get bruises, Sakura! Kiba will be angry at me again! Saying 'How many times did I tell you to be careful?'
*laughs*
Kiba rolled his eyes.
"I am not like that!"
"Shh!"
"Tch. Whatever."
Temari: Wow, Tennie, your buns are really big!
Neji almost choke out loud. Pervert mind is set. The others, except Sasuke, grinned at Neji.
Tenten: Yeah, It's because my hair is getting longer. Do you think I should get it cut?
Hinata: I think it would be nice, Tenten-chan.
Sakura: she's right.
Ino: why don't we play 'I have never'!
Temari: sounds fun. How do you play it?
Ino: Okay, I would say something that I never did, then if you did that thing you should bring down two bucks. Whoever gets the least to bring down money will win, ready?
Girls: ready.
Ino: I'll go first! I have never watch porn before.
Tenten: Huh? Hinata! Don't faint!
Hinata: I-I'll be fine.
Sakura: Damn, I won't watch porn ever again.
Temari: The only one who didn't bring down is Hinata?
Hinata: I've never watch any of those videos before. How about you, Ten-chan?
Tenten: *silence* don't tell this to anyone, okay? Especially Sasuke-nii-san, he'll explode once he finds out my first time to watch porno.
Sasuke freeze and glanced at the device.
"Hn. This is worth hearing." Sasuke said and leaned back at a chair near Neji's desk.
Ino: Okay, we promised. So, what is it?
Tenten: When I was twelve years old, I burrowed his laptop. There is this file that said 'Do not open unless you are Sasuke Uchiha'. But curiosity got me and opened it. I almost ran outside and scream on top of my lungs when I saw what was inside.
Sakura: What was inside?
Tenten: Thousands of porn videos.
*burst out laughing even Hinata*
"Damn! I should have known!" Sasuke cursed as he glared at the device.
"Thousand of porno, huh, never thought you have it in you, man." Naruto said as he clapped Sasuke's back. The Uchiha prodigy slaps his head.
Temari: Sasuke is an awesome brother.
Tenten: Not really. You should live with him and know all his dirty little secrets.
Temari: I would trade anything to know Shikamaru's dirty little secrets too.
*laughs*
Sakura: Okay, let's go back to the game. I'm next! I have never made out with my boyfriend at the library.
*squeal*
Ino: That was supposed to be a secret!
Temari: Wait, what?
Sakura: I saw them one time making out while I was reading a book. I tried to ignore it but Ino keep on moaning and moaning and I have to stomp over to them and whack Kiba's head.
Tenten: Oh! *laugh then stop and gasped* Hinata! Stop fainting!
Hinata: I-I am sorry.
Temari: My turn, I have never had a crush on someone except my boyfriend.
*shuffling of money then gasp*
Sakura and Ino: Tenten,Hinata you too?!
Neji and Naruto stiffen, Tenten has a crush on someone besides him? Oh whoever it is will go down.
Tenten: Uh it's just a crush! And Temari, that was supposed to be our secret!
Ino: Why are you so defensive then? *tease*
Tenten: Shut up!
Sakura: Tennie, you are blushing!
Tenten is blushing and he's not the reason? Oh hell will break lose. The others scooted away from Neji's dark aura.
Sakura: And you too, Hinata! My gosh who is it?
Hinata: It's just a crush, Sakura-chan.
Ino: Even though. All my life I thought you're only focus is to Naruto.
Hinata: I am.
Temari: tch, Hinata it's okay.
Sakura: How about you, Tenten? Who is it?
Temari: Oh, I know who.
Tenten: Forget about it! My turn! I have never groped my boyfriend in public.
*laughter, Sakura and Ino grumbling*
Tenten: You really grope Sasuke-nii-san in public?
Sakura: It was just an accident!
"That was not an accident." Sasuke said smugly; the others rolled their eyes.
Tenten: Yeah, right. What about you, Ino?
Ino: He groped me first so I groped him too.
*sweat dropped*
"Dude, seriously?" Shikamaru asked, eyeing Kiba with a weird look.
"What? She really looks sexy on that pink dress." Kiba said defensively while raising both his hands. The boys rolled their eyes and turned back to the girls.
Temari: Your turn, Hinata.
Hinata: U-Uhm. I have n-never kissed my boyfriend while he's sleeping.
*giggles, shuffles*
Tenten: Wow, Hina, you won.
Temari: So what's next?
Ino: truth or dare!
*sighs*
Tenten lay down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. Wondering what Neji is doing right now.
"Come on, guys! Let's play truth or dare." Ino said; Tenten sighed.
"Tennie, get up! Come join us." Sakura said and drag her along.
"Okay, okay." She plopped down between Temari and Hinata.
"Okay, I'll go first!" Ino said as she looks at the other girls like a prey. "Hm. Tenten truth or dare!"
Tenten analyzed first before answering. If she said truth, Ino would ask her about her crush. If she choose dare she would do crazy and idiotic things. So she picked the latter.
"Dare."
"Aww, I was hoping you would say truth!"
"Not a chance, dear Ino."
"Okay. Since, you have a great voice and all we've heard you sing is low or medium note; let's hear you sing a very high note. Go sing "So what" by Pink while walking around the hallway." Ino said smugly; Tenten smirk.
"Easy." Tenten said making the others raised their eyebrow.
"Come on, Ino. That's so easy." Temari said. Ino grinned evilly which made Tenten silently cower in fear for her life.
"Not so fast cupcake, I meant go sing "so what" by P!nk while dancing the chicken dance around the hallway. Go wild, easy right?" Ino grinned. Tenten's mouth dropped.
"What?! What if Neji comes out!" she cried making the others laugh.
"It's a dare, baby, you said its easy now go prove it." Ino said; Tenten glared at her before she walks out of the room, the others followed. Ino was carrying a camera. Oh Gods, she's hoping that Neji won't come out.
She heaved a sigh before dancing the chicken dance and started singing in high notes.

When she's done, she turned to the girls who were laughing.
"Well, you underestimated me." Tenten said and laugh while shaking her head. "Hm, my turn. Sakura, truth or dare."
"Dare me, baby!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Well, then, run around the Hyuga mansion with only your undergarments." Tenten said and sneered. Ino and Temari gave her a high five secretly.
"Tenten-chan!" Hinata exclaimed looking horrified.
"What? She'll run quietly, right Sakura?" Tenten asked the quiet Sakura.
A moment had passed before Sakura stood up and started taking off her shirt and pajama.
"Wait, Sakura-chan, you are really going to do it?" Hinata asked with worry in her voice.
"I am no chicken!" Sakura exclaimed.
"Okay, who gave her sugar?" Temari asked; Ino and Tenten snickered.
"Shanaro!" Sakura yelled before running outside. Tenten ran too while Ino pulled out her camera and started running with Tenten.
"I have got to see this." Temari said while standing up. "You coming, Hina?" Hinata nodded and stood up too. Both ran to find the trio. They heard them laughing near the living room.
They stop when they saw Sakura running almost tripping because the flooring was slippery. Tenten was slumped near the stairs laughing while Ino was rolling on the floor, clutching her stomach.
"Fuuuuuuuu! I can't breathe!" Tenten said while gasping and laughing. Hinata and Temari joined in and fell on the floor.
"Oh my gods! My ribs are broken!" Ino said while doubling over. Sakura glared at them before joining them.
"We should go back in, guys before we wake up everyone." Hinata said while pulling Tenten up.
"Yeah, let's go." Sakura said and ran upstairs.
"Oh my gods, you should have seen her ran!" Ino said and laugh again. Temari and Tenten have to drag her back to Hinata's room.
When they returned, Sakura was fully dressed. They sat again and continued their game.
"Okay, I have enough of this dares. Why don't we all chose truth so we could get to know each other." Ino said. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
"No way, Ino pig. I know how you play when it comes to the truth." Temari said which earned a glare from Ino. Sakura scoff and leaned back.
"I think it's a great idea." Hinata said and shyly smiled. "I want to get to know you all better, guys. We've never been this close before."
They all looked at her and smiled.
"Well, since Hinata put it that way, then I'm in." Temari said.
"Yay!" Ino said and hugged Hinata. "Okay, let's start! Hinata, when did you realize that you love Naruto?" Hinata flushed but smiled tenderly.
"When I was in 2nd grade, all of my classmates were bullying me but he protected me by stepping up to them. They punched him until Naruto was already on the floor. They only stopped when the teacher came." She said then smiled sadly. "I was crying while helping him up. He grab my face and wiped my tears away and he said the words that I will never forget."
"What is it?" Tenten asked.
"'Someone as beautiful like you should not be bullied by those jerks. One day, someone will dry those tears away and sweep you off your feet.' And with that, he left with the teacher not knowing that his words is stuck to my mind. Ever since that day, I've admired him from afar. I've always been a coward and could not come up to him."Hinata said as she smiled at the memory.
"And the idiot didn't know that he's going to be the one who will dry those tears of yours away and would sweep you off your feet." Sakura said; the others laughed.
"Yeah, and he's my idiot." Hinata said then giggled. "Okay, my turn. Sakura, you said you hated Sasuke. What changed your mind?" Sakura grinned at them.
"Well, at first I hated him because of his cockiness and arrogance. I keep on bashing him whenever we crosses each other. Then, there was one time when I was nearly ran by car. He saved me by pushing me out of the way. I've owed him my life but I never got the chance to say 'thank you'. So maybe, my mind changed that moment." Sakura said then grinned not knowing that her boyfriend is listening.
"Well, my brother can be arrogant sometimes so I don't blame you." Tenten joked which earned a giggle from the girls.
"My turn too, I've wanted to ask you this, Tenten. Hope you don't mind." Sakura said with seriousness in her voice. Tenten gulped. "This is kind of personal but I am really curious."
"What is it?"
"Uhm.." she shift uncomfortable and leaned forward. "D-Do you still love L-Luke?" silenced was followed after that question. Tenten's eyes widen and the other girls gaped. The boys from the other room was tense especially Neji.
Does she still love Luke? She doesn't know what to answer. Part of her wanted to say 'no' but she wasn't sure of it.
"I-I… I-I-I d-don't…" Tenten replied which earned a sigh of relief from Neji from the other room. "…know." Neji's heart sank.
"What?" Temari asked in surprise. The others gasped.
"I don't know if I still love him. Maybe, maybe not." Tenten said as she closed her eyes.
"But Neji-nii-san…" Hinata whispered. Tenten's eyes shot open.
"Neji is very special to me. Don't get me wrong. I love him so much. I love Neji but I think Luke will always have a small part of my heart." Tenten said quickly. The others stared at her with concern.
"Even though he treated you like a trash?" Ino asked hesitantly. Tenten was silent for a moment. Neji leaned forward to hear her answer.
"Before that happened, everything was perfect." She said breathless. She doesn't know why she sounds breathless. "I-I thought it will be forever but I thought wrong." Her voice cracked at the last line. Tears were running freely down her cheeks as Sakura who was sitting besides her as she rub her back. "I don't know where it went wrong."
"Hush, Tenten. It's okay." Temari said in a comforting tone. Tenten rubbed her cheeks and heaved a sigh.
"I-I'm okay. I'll be fine, just give me a moment." Tenten said as she blows her nose. She turns to look at Hinata. "Can I use the bathroom?" Hinata nodded.
"Yeah, it's around the corner." Hinata said; Tenten stood up.
She went out of the room and walked towards the bathroom as she was deep in thought. It was the very first time someone asked her that since Luke betrayed her. Her thoughts drifted towards the night she was struggling free from Luke's grip.
"I'm sorry, Tenten." Luke whispered in a broken voice. "Please be strong."
She stopped when she was in front of Neji's room and raised her hand to knock but stopped because she doesn't know what to say. What will she say? She sighed and continued to walk to the bathroom.
She closed the door and went for the sink to wash her face. She stared at the mirror and saw a girl with a contented and happy face. These past few months she'd been happy. What's stopping her right now? Luke? Past is past.
When she exited the bathroom she almost screamed when she saw Neji leaning against the wall. His face was grim as he stared at her.
"N-Neji? Hey." she said hesitantly. She suddenly felt a pang of guilt. He remained passive and stared cooly at her. "Is something wrong?"
"Let's talk, Tenten." He said and didn't wait for her reply. She followed him out of the balcony. Her heart was thumping very hard on her chest. Oh god, she doesn't want this. They stopped near the porch. Tenten instantly put her arms around herself to keep herself warm. She gathered all her courage to talk.
"N-Neji? Is something wrong?" she asked again when Neji remained silent. She reached out to touch him but he caught her hand quickly which earned a gasp from her. His grip is tight and it was hurting her but she remained calm. She stared at her boyfriend warily and saw his face contorted with pain. Her heart sank and the sight of him looking like that.
"I love you, Tenten. You are the only girl I've ever loved this way and I want you to be honest with me." He said in all seriousness in his voice. Tears started streaming down her cheeks and Neji gently rubbed it away as his grip on her hand soften. She didn't know why she was crying. Maybe from guilt? She doesn't know. "Is there something you want to tell me?"
Tenten didn't answer thus she hugged him tight which surprised him. "Neji… I love you so much but I have to tell the truth that I have not recovered from Luke very well but I wanted to be with you. And it's killing me seeing you in pain, I'm sorry, Neji. I love you more than Luke and that's the truth Neji…" she was cut off by Neji's own lips.
"That's all I want to hear." Neji murmured in her ear. She heaved a deep breath in relief as she hugged him tighter and closed her eyes. "It kills me knowing that Luke still has a small part of your heart."
She was about to say something when something struck at her as she opened her eyes. She pushed Neji gently.
"H-how did you know that?" Neji remained silent. She stared at him. "You were listening to us?" She saw a flicker of guilt crosses his eyes. "H-how could you?"
"Tenten, I can explain. This is not my idea, it was Naruto's." Neji tried to calm her down as he touches her arm which she shrugged away.
"Wait, what? You mean the others are here too?" She didn't wait for his reply and she stomped over to his bedroom and opened the room with a bang.
She saw the boys who stared at her in horror and to Neji with a hint of betrayal. She gazed at them in bewilderment before glaring at them. She turned back to her boyfriend.
"Explain this." She said in gritted teeth. Neji touched her arm which she shrugged away again. "I said explain this. You were all spying at us. My gods, I thought I could trust you!" she yelled; Neji was taken aback by the harshness on her voice but recovered quickly. Neji glared at her.
"What about you? Can I trust you?" Neji yelled back. She gaped at him and crosses her arms on her chest.
"What does that even mean?" she yelled furiously as she glared at him.
"You thought I didn't hear about your 'crush'? And about Luke? What do you want me to feel huh, Tenten?" He yelled as furiously as I am.
"It was just a crush! How could you invade my privacy?! You are my boyfriend and you should be the first one to respect that!" she yelled as she tried not to cry in front of the boys. Before Neji could answer, the girls came rushing to them.
"Tenten! I heard you yelling and thought y…" Temari didn't get the chance to finish her sentence when she saw the boys and the small radio device on the center. She and the other girls gasped. She heard their boyfriends gulped and backed away slowly.
"Shikamaru Nara! You insolent fool! How could you!" Slap! Ow!
"What a drag." Shikamaru muttered before being literally dragged out of the bed room.
"I can explain, sweetheart. Really, babe. I didn't want this to happen, honey. Well, just slight but the point is, darling, I didn't do it on purpose. Please don't slice my balls, baby." Kiba begged when Ino glared at him.
"You are so dead! No sex for a month!" Ino declared which earned a wail from the Inuzuka before stomping out of the room.
"No, baby. Don't ban sex please. I'll make it up to you, I promise." Kiba said as he followed Ino out of the room.
"Well, Uchiha, I can't believe it. You are such an ass." Said Sakura before grabbing his duck tail hair and dragged him out of the room.
"Ouch! Not my hair!" Complained Sasuke then a slap was heard and another 'ouch' from the Uchiha was heard.
When they were gone, slap and punch were heard before a thud. Tenten turned around to see an unconscious Naruto and a furious Hinata blowing her knuckles. She dragged Naruto out of the room and slammed the door.
There was an awkward silence between Neji and Tenten.
"I thought you were the type of guy that would respect his girl's privacy." She spat. She thought she saw a flicker of pain in Neji's eyes before it disappeared and was replaced by anger.
"And I thought you were the type of girl who would be honest to her boyfriend." He spat too.
"So it's all about honesty now? I just can't believe you, Neji. You're impossible!" she yelled and before he could reply she ran out of the room and slammed it closed.
She opened the door to Hinata's room and saw her talking to Naruto while dumping an ice pack on his swollen cheeks.
"Hey, sorry to interrupt. I'll just get my keys." She said and walked over to where her bag is at. Naruto stood up and so does Hinata.
"Wait, where are you going?" Naruto asked already alarmed. Tenten sighed and patted his back.
"I'm just going to drive. Clear off my mind." Tenten said and headed out of the room. Naruto and Hinata followed her.
"Tenten-chan, you can't. It's dangerous especially that your stalker might be lurking around." Hinata said; Tenten smiled at her softly.
"I'll just drive around the corner, Hinata. I'll be fine." Tenten said before walking out of the house to where her car is parked.
She drives towards the city not knowing that somebody was trailing her. She sighed as she tried not to cry when she remembered the fight she had with her boyfriend. It's the first time they yelled at each other. They were really furious and for a moment she thought it was the end of their relationship.
She calms her nerves and before she could turn to a corner, a car skidded in front of her which resulted to her stomping on the brakes.
"Neji! Neji!" Naruto shouted as he banged Neji's door. The door opened revealing an annoyed Hyuga.
"What is it?" He snapped.
"Tenten-chan went out. Please follow her, Neji-nii-san." Hinata begged.
"What? Shit!" He muttered before dashing for his keys and went outside. "Tell the others now and find her." He ordered. The two dashed inside to call for the others.
Neji drive his car very fast as he tried to contact Tenten. Damn!
