Author's Note: Hey, guys. Before you start reading this chapter, I just want to say that it's very different from our own timeline. ^_^V Gomen. In this story, the timeline would still be Christmas. I've already finished this story since last year (so if I change it, I would be totally confuse so please bear with it!) though I only have troubles in uploading them. I hope you're still with me! And btw, have you heard about the last Naruto Movie. Aw men! And have you read the Epilogue?! I'm kind of depressed that Kishi didn't revive Neji but I guess he has other purposes. I'm just a little bit disappointed about Tenten, she was rarely seen at the epilogue.

And BTW(again), I started shipping Sai and Ino, Kiba and Tamaki! So be prepared for the new changes in characters and couples as this story level up!

Chapter 15: To The Mansion

"Damn! I can't believe it's almost Christmas!" Naruto cheered; excitement written on his face. Yesterday was the last day of school for the first semester and they spent last night in rush-packing for this trip.

It was a five hours drive from where they live to the mansion.

"And I can't believe that the Uchiha's actually invited us all to have a vacation at their mansion!" Kiba said still in disbelief. Ino chuckled at her boyfriend's remark.

"I know right! Can you believe it?" Ino said to which Temari, Sakura and even Choji shook their heads.

They were riding on a van that Sasuke rented and they were on their way to the Uchiha's mansion. Sasuke was driving with Tenten on the passenger's seat.

"Hey, Ten, I thought you said that you would only bring Hyuga?" A grumpy Sasuke asked his sister as he eyed the others especially the guys at the back. Lee, Shino and Choji looked up sensing his gaze. His sister grinned and gave him a peace sign.

"Well it was the original plan, of course but I wanted them to meet mom and dad and so are Itachi and Thalia! And I see no harm in bringing them with us. Besides, Lee would love the Taijutsu Room there!" Tenten said with a smirk as she saw Lee's eyes sparkle.

"Oh youthful flower! I am indebted to you!" Lee exclaimed making the others groaned.

"We were friends for like, what Sasuke, two years? And we haven't even had a glimpse of your parents. We didn't even know that you have a sister until she showed up. Surprise, surprise" Shikamaru said in a bored tone. Sasuke grunted in reply.

"That's because it would only be a waste of time." Sasuke said in a cold voice. Tenten frown at her brother's behavior. He was always in a bad mood lately and she can't blame him. He was anxious in bringing Sakura to finally meet their parents.

"He's right, Sasuke-teme! Though, I've been to your house since we were kids." Naruto boasted. Sakura rolled her eyes.

"No one's asking, Naruto." Sakura deadpanned which earned a small smirk from the Uchiha boy.

"It's going to be great, you guys! My parents are the best and I can assure you will love them! Btw, Ino, my mom loves Gucci!" Tenten exclaimed making her friend gasp and clasp her hands in the air as her eyes sparkle in excitement.

"I LOVE HER ALREADY!" Ino exclaimed making the others laugh and the others grunt.

"How many more hours will it take till we get there?" Shikamaru asked in a bored tone. Sasuke sighed in impatient tone. Tenten glared at her brother telling him to suck it up and the latter grunted in reply.

"Oh, we're near. It will only take 30 minutes or so." Tenten said and face the road. She felt someone looking at her and she moves her head slightly to see her brother staring at her with worried face. Both of them started thinking the same thing.

Their mother decided to meet Sakura officially too. Even though Sasuke wanted to protest he didn't voice it out. Tenten comforted Sasuke that maybe their mom will learn to like Sakura. Tenten asked her mom to treat Sakura like how she will treat her friends and her mother agreed.

After few minutes of driving, they arrived to an enormous black and gold gate with the Uchiha symbol located at the center and everyone except the Uchiha siblings gaped. They stopped at the guard post and Sasuke rolled his window down.

"Yo." Sasuke said in a bored tone as he beckoned the guard on station. The old guard, not expecting his master to be the one driving the car, quickly ran up almost stumbling to them.

"Sasuke-bosama!" His eyes then drifted to the passenger seat and his eyes widen more if that was possible. "Tenten-ojasama!"

"Hello, Turi-san. We brought guests with us." The guard roamed his eyes inside the van then he smiled sheepishly back to Tenten.

"Gomen, Ojasama. I was not informed that you were coming today. Your parents said you would arrive tomorrow morning." Turi-san said in an apologetic tone. Sasuke smirk at him.

"I bet you were informed, old man but you've clearly forgotten." Sasuke joked lightly.

"Nii-san!" Tenten scolded. The old man laughs wholeheartedly. "Gomen, Turi-san, we actually plan to surprise our parents that's why we didn't tell them that we would arrive today."

"Is that so? Should I accompany you to the mansion then?" Sasuke shook his head and the old man nodded in understanding.

"Though, you could do us a favor by calling them right away, old man." Sasuke said and watch as the other guards opened the enormous gate.

"Bosama, Ojasama!" The guards saluted as they drive by their way. Kiba went between Sasuke and his sister.

"Are we there yet?"

"We're near, Kiba. Just sit back and relax." Tenten said and the fanged boy nodded and sat back.

After ten minutes of driving, they saw a big house surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and a small pond at the other side of it.

"Woah. Your home is really cool." Kiba said which earned a laugh from the dobe.

"Baka! That's not their home though they own it!" He said while laughing. The others stared at the blonde like he's crazy; which he probably is.

"This is the staff house." Tenten explained as they stopped in front of it.

"Nani?!" The others except Hinata, Shikamaru, Neji and Naruto yelled.

They all stepped outside the can and at the same time the butler came out with a cold smile and prim and proper posture.

"Even the staff have Uchiha's signature smile. I think only Tenten was not infected by it." Ino whispered earning a nod from Sakura and a snicker from Kiba.

"Good morning, Sasuke-bosama, Tenten-bosama." He greeted the two with a warm voice and stared at the others with cold expression that even Neji and Shikamaru shivered.

"Good morning, Takano! These are our friends, Hinata and Neji Hyuga, Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, Temari Sabaku No, Shino Aburame, Rock Lee and Choji Akimichi." She said pointing to all of them one by one. The butler smiled coldly and bowed his head.

"It is a pleasure to meet the friends of my masters." Takano said as he bowed his head a sign of respect. He turned to Temari. "You must be the only daughter of the Kazekage?"

"Yes, I am." Temari said confidently to which the butler bowed in respect.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, ma'am."

"Ne, Takano, what's a Kazekage?" Tenten asked. The butler turned to his master and smiled fondly.

"It is the highest position in politics in Suna, Ojasama. A Kazekage leads the people in Suna only. Just like the Hokage in Konoha where you are currently living. You may say that a Kazekage is also a Mayor."

Everyone gaped, even Tenten, Sasuke and Neji. The only one who didn't was Shikamaru who knew it from the beginning and gave Temari a smirk.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Sakura screamed earning a grunt from the blonde.

"If I told you'd probably treat me like some royalty." Temari explained nonchalantly.

"Of course not!" Ino defended and then, "well, maybe a little."

"It seems that each of you doesn't quite know the others fully well." Takano observed and gave them a mysterious smile earning an uneasy glances and glares from the group.

"Uhh. Moving on, you've met Naruto before, right Takano?" Tenten asked and the butler turned his stony stare at the blond.

"Ah yes, he is the brat from before who kept pestering Sasuke-bosama." Takano said in a cold voice earning a laugh from Sasuke and a 'Hey!' from Naruto.

Takano turned his stare back at Tenten. "We were ordered to accompany you to the Mansion, Ojasama. You don't have to carry your things anymore; the staff will carry them for you." He said and accompanied them to a golf cart.

Takano drove the cart to the mansion while the others took pictures of the beautiful surrounding.

A round of gasp were heard when the mansion appeared before their eyes. The mansion was painted white and black and it stands tall and firm at the top of the hill. Confidence was emanating from the mansion itself and at the same time it looks homey. The style of the mansion is old and it looks like it was passed down from generations to generations; which is true.

"We're here." Takano said as they stopped at the front porch.

"Woah!" Tenten heard Kiba said as he gazes at the fountain at the middle of their lawn. "This is amazing!"

"You have a youthful mansion, dear flower!" Lee commented excitedly.

"Thank you, Lee." Tenten said and smiled at the loud clad before turning her gaze to the crowd who started taking group pictures besides the fountain. Her gaze settled at her boyfriend who stood stiffly. One would think that he was bored out of his mind but Tenten knew better. She could see his eyebrows twitch and how he keeps shifting his weight from one foot to another; a sign that he was nervous.

The brunette went over to Neji who stood straight at the sight of her; He tried to hide his unease by smirking at her and holding her hand. They both stared at the group in front of him who was excitedly taking pictures. Naruto waved his camera at the two of them and before both of them could react, Naruto clicked the shutter and ran back towards the others giggling like an idiot.

"That idiot," He whispered; his hot breath tickling her cheeks sending shivers on her spine. Tenten could feel his sweaty palm and smirked inwardly.

"You're nervous," She commented nonchalantly. His smirk faltered and a frown appeared.

"What?"

"You're nervous of meeting my parents!" Tenten said and laughed. Neji growled at her to which his girlfriend replied with a chuckle.

"You have nothing to worry about, Neji." She reassured him but still he kept the frown on his face.

"That's easy for you to say, Tenten." Neji said coldly and glared hard at his girlfriend. Tenten caressed his cheek softly and smiled at her boyfriend.

"I'll be with you all the way, babe, don't worry." Her words and touch seemed to have effect since his muscle on his face started to relax and his gaze soften.

"I'm not worried whether they will like me or not because surely they will." Tenten rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's egoistic remarks but lets him continue. "I'm actually worried about the rules that your father will give."

"Rules? How do you even know that he'll have rules?"

"Having a beautiful daughter, a father has to have rules." He said and stared at her with a smirk.

"So you're saying I'm beautiful?"

"I'm not into corny and cheesy stuffs but believe me when I say that beautiful is not enough word to describe you." Her stomach fluttered at that comment. Rarely do Neji compliment her but when he does, he never fails to amaze and make her stomach flutter.

Though she answered that comment with a snort, Neji knew that she loves it.

"Ugh, that was corny."

"But I meant it." He said and once again frowned down at her. She tiptoed and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips earning a sigh from the Hyuga.

"Aww, isn't that sweet!" Someone said from the porch. Everyone's head snapped to the speaker and gasped, except the two Uchiha's who grinned excitedly, at the beautiful woman standing on the front porch.

"Mom!" Tenten exclaimed and ran up to her mother, leaving Neji to trail behind her, before enveloping her into a tight embrace.

"Sweetheart, I've missed you so much!" The woman, who she called as mom, said and kissed her face.

"I've missed you too, mom!" She said and grinned before they turned to her brother who was standing at the side and was looking anywhere but to them.

Sasuke was having a quarrel with their mother these past few days but seeing her now in person dissipates any anger left inside of him. Her mother will always have a soft spot in Sasuke's heart and her mother knew that.

"Oh Sasuke… Come here…" Her mother said softly and extended her arms. Sasuke hesitantly walked up to their mother before scooping her petite form in his arm before twirling her around. "Oh dear, put me down!" Her mother squealed.

"How are you, mom? Have you been eating? You look thin!" Sasuke said after setting his mother down.

"I'm fine, dear and of course I'm eating!" She said and caressed Sasuke's cheek. "You're under a lot of stress, young man, I can tell."

"Yeah, being the student council president wasn't the easiest task, mom."

"Well, forget about it for a while, dear, because today it's all about family and friend, hm?" Sasuke smiled and nodded down at his mother.

"Naruto-kun? Is that you?" Her mother's gaze turned to the blond.

"Yes, believe it, Aunt Mikoto!" The loud blond said before enveloping the lady into a tight embrace which she returned.

"I'm so glad you could join us and I'm glad the Sasuke and Tenten decided to bring all of you. I can't wait to meet you all." She said gesturing to everyone. Her gaze settled at the white-orb Hyuga who put an arm around her daughter's waist. She squealed earning a startled look from the others.

"Are you the one?!" Her mother exclaimed as she clamped Neji's sweaty palm from hers. Her eyes roam from head to toe. "You're a hot one! I hope I get to know you. Your name is Hyuga Neji, right?"

"Y-Yes, ma'am." The poor Hyuga stuttered as he flushed a little earning a gasped from the background. Neji Hyuga? Blushing? Stuttering? Even Sasuke gaped at his best friend's reaction as he answered their mother's interrogation.

Sensing that her boyfriend's unease, Tenten held his hand and squeeze it firmly giving him strength.

"And he's a shy one!" She commented earning a guffaw from the Naruto, Sasuke, Choji, Lee and Shikamaru. They all know that Neji was far from being the shy one. "Welcome to the family, my dear. You can call me 'mom'!" She said earning a laugh from the group and a scandalous gasp from Tenten.

"What is this ruckus about?!" A voice boomed the surrounding and a chuckle followed but from another voice.

Two men appeared by the large door; both are carrying the confidence that all Uchiha does, the other one was wearing a business suit while the other one was in casual clothes. The both of them are the exact replica of Sasuke but the other one looks in his late 40's while the other one was probably in his late 20's.

"Hey," Sasuke greeted with a grin. Their father smirked at them before turning to his lovely wife.

"Wife, why haven't you let them in yet?" He said and her mother gasped.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! How rude of me! Let's go inside and get to know each other." The others nodded and followed them. Mikoto went to make sure everything was well prepared for their guest.

"Ten-chan, you caught us by surprise." Her oldest brother said as he pat his sister's head and gave a nod on the Hyuga's way which he returned with a polite nod.

"Yeah, I'm sorry for not informing you." She said and grinned up at him. "When did you arrive?"

"We arrived this morning, Thalia and Fang are asleep in our bedroom." He said and gestured the others to sit at the sofa. "So, you guys are all friends with my siblings. That's very nice."

Everyone smiled at Itachi to which the latter returned with his "oh-hot-damn" smile. They couldn't help but noticed the difference of Itachi and Sasuke. Itachi was a lot nicer than his little brother.

"I'm Itachi Uchiha, by the way and this is our father Fugaku Uchiha since the two didn't bother to introduce us yet." Itachi said which earned a grunt from Sasuke and a gasp from Tenten. Tenten sat at the arm of the sofa where her father was sitting at the moment and Sasuke was seated besides Itachi.

"Oh! Sorry, I forgot." She said and laughs sheepishly. "This is Yamanaka Ino, Nara Shikamaru and Akimichi Choji …" She pointed at the three who were seated at the left side; making sure Neji would be the last to be introduced; smirking at the idea of her boyfriend getting nervous by the minute.

As if reading her mind, Neji glared at his girlfriend which the latter only returned with an innocent look.

"Yamanaka, Nara, Akimichi!" Her father exclaimed in surprise which made the others jumped from their seat. "How are you three related to the business tycoon trio YamaNaAki?"

"Inoichi is my father sir." Ino said politely trying not to fidget on her seat. She pointed at Shikamaru and Chouji who were sitting next to her. "This is Shikamaru, his father is Shikaku and this is Chouji and his father is Choza."

"Ah! Those three are really remarkable when it comes to team work! I always admired their work. I once worked with them; I must say they are really impressive! And by the way, your flower shop was run by your mother right, dear?" He asked Ino who smiled and nodded in return. "Ah, I always buy a bouquet for my wife. The flower arrangements are very impressive too."

"Thank you, sir." Ino said and smiled genuinely.

"Moving on, these are Aburame Shino, Rock Lee, Inuzuka Kiba…"

"Inuzuka? Are you related to the Inuzuka's who owns the biggest pet shop here in town?" Her father exclaimed. 'Trust my father to know everyone and everything from business.' Tenten thought and rolled her eyes.

"Yes, sir!" Kiba said a little too eagerly.

"Oh, I went to buy my daughter a puppy on her tenth birthday," he then turned to Tenten. "Isn't that right, dear?" The brunette only nodded. "But sadly, he passed away…"

"I-I'm sorry for your loss, sir." Kiba stuttered feeling sad about the thought of a dog dying. Ino put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"That's all in the past now!" Her father said and smirked.

"Okaaaay…" Tenten said weirdly before started introducing again, "This is Sabaku No Temari…"

"AH! Don't tell me you're the daughter of the Kazekage!" Her father said and everyone except Fugaku heard Tenten's facepalm earning a scowl with a tinge of worry from her boyfriend and a chuckle from both of her brothers.

"Yes, I am sir." Temari said politely and the old man laughs.

"You're father is a good friend of mine, my dear! He drops by the mansion whenever he's around the area. A great leader, that man."

"Indeed he is sir, and I'm quite proud of him about it." Temari said proudly earning an approving smile from Fugaku.

Fugaku nodded and gestured for Tenten to go on which earned a grunt from the latter. But she froze when she saw who was next. She gulped at the glowing smile on her friend's face.

"This is Haruno Sakura…" She said and silently prayed that her father would not show any other emotions.

"Ah, are you Sasuke's girl, my dear? Oh, my son has great taste for girls!" Her father said politely before laughing. Unknown to others, the last statement of her father has a meaning to it and Sasuke gave his father a side glare.

The pink haired girl nodded and blushed. "Thank you, sir. It is pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine, my dear." Fugaku said and Tenten saw Sasuke sighed in relief.

"Next up, these are Hyuga Hinata and Hyuga Neji!"

"A Hyuga?! Are you related to that old trickster, Hiashi Hyuga?" He said with his booming voice earning a squeak from the little Hyuga and a grunt from the older one.

"H-he's my father, sir."

"He's my uncle."

The two replied in unison. Fugaku nodded his head. "He's a close friend of mine, way back in college. That bastard! I never heard of him for many years now! Is he still alive?" Hinata's face paled at the question but then gathered her up to answer it.

"Yes, sir, h-he's alright."

"You don't look a lot like him, my dear. Oh don't get me wrong, you're very beautiful."

"They said I'm the exact replica of my mother…"

"Yes, Reiko was a very beautiful woman like you, it was hard to accept that she passed away so early…" Her father said in a sad tone. "I have witnessed your parents' love story; my dear and even I tried to keep from puking every time you father tried to go all cheesy on your mother." He joked and everyone laughed easing the tension even for a second.

"Indeed…" Hinata said sadly but then smiled back at Fugaku. The latter returned it with a warm smile. Then he turned to the one sitting next to Hinata.

Dun dun dun!

"Hmm… Hyuga Neji, you say?" Fugaku narrowed his eyes at the emotionless Hyuga. The latter was amazed on how quick the man changes his warm smile to a cold one.

"Yes, Daddy, he's my boyfriend, remember?" Tenten said smirking at her boyfriend as the latter tried not to fidget on his seat.

"Yes, yes, I know, dear." Fugaku said not taking away his gaze from the Hyuga.

The Hyuga doesn't know what to do or what to say so he stared at the older Uchiha with a blank stare which the latter returned with a glare.

"Hyuga Neji, you are expected to come at my study room after lunch, are we clear?" Fugaku said in a menacing tone and the Hyuga's eyes widen in shock which earned a chuckle from Sasuke and Itachi and a worried look from Tenten. She was not expecting this. She thought Neji was just joking around about a father giving him rules.

"But, Dad—

"No buts, Tenten..." He said without breaking his glare from the Hyuga who look a little uneasy.

"Ne, Tenten, you forgot to introduce me!" A loud voice broke the silence.

"Uh… Dad, you know Naruto already, right?"

Her father turned his stare at the blond and instantly, the older man's merit returned. "Oh yes, how are your parents, my boy?"

"THEY ARE FINE, DAD, BELIEVE IT!"

"D-Dad?" Fugaku looks taken aback from the outburst of the blond which made Sasuke, Itachi and Tenten guffaw.

'Trust Naruto to break the awkward silence, as always.' Tenten thought amusedly before turning her worried face to her boyfriend who sits completely still and was staring at her blankly. She tried to console her boyfriend by smiling but the latter only looked away.

She sighed and promised to herself to talk to Neji before entering the dungeon- ah, study room.
