(Chapter 4, The cry of remembering.)
I turned to walk out on the porch, but quickly felt a strike of pain pierce my heart, then I ran out the glass door to see if he was alright. He was crying, I wasn't entirely sure why, but it probably had to do something with him baking his cookies wrong or something.
No...it wasn't the cookies, he was crying for too long, at least by the way his eyes were red and tears wouldn't stop flowing down his face, it had to be more than an hour since he came out here and started to weep and morn. I hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek. "Hey, Hun..are you okay?" He jolted than hugged me back. "No..." I sighed and looked at him. "Mind telling me?" I held his hand and put my forehead on his. "I..." He looked down instead of in my eyes, and I knew what that meant, it was important.
